it wasn't that callie had anything against rangers, but it was that she found them more ineffecient than anyone in the precinct. she preferred missions with people that she knew, people like paxton concordas or blue murtagh .

[break][break] the unfamiliar brought a chill to her chest, especially all that she had experienced when she'd stepped into the rifts alongside sunny clark and the others.

[break][break] callie's coming off of another mission - damn paxton concordas , just because he was a workoholic didn't mean they all had to be - so she didn't get much time to read the report and see who she would be paired up with. not that it mattered to her — they were all the same in the end. do-good people with bleeding hearts.
