Once he had asked what he wanted to ask, Thomas stepped aside, and allowed Callan to question the man. Strangely, he was somewhat resistant to divulging answers, despite the spell he was under. But Callan found a way, and got what was needed.

As Callan turned to him, Thomas looked him in the eye.

"First idea that comes to mind is having someone go into the prison, and wreaking havoc on the inside.", he'd whisper to Callan. "If they were to come prepared with some way of escaping the restraints, and dealing with the locks, then they could wreak havoc on the inside, while searching for the person who can escape. And while we can't exactly teleport into the prison, given that our Pokemon have never been on the inside, they could teleport the person out.", he'd elaborate, still maintaining a whisper.

"I'll help however I can.", he'd tell Callan.

These days, Thomas was little more than a black knight. Spreading terror amongst the rank and file of Rocket, while wearing a terrifying suit of armor. His methods were just as cruel and brutal, to show Rocket that their atrocities would never be forgiven.

But was it the right path for him? Was it truly doing anything.

As Thomas thought about this, he would toss a ball to the gathering of Aggron and Aron, hoping for the best.

Even if he had taken a step back from the fighting, he wasn't finished with the fight.

The snow suddenly began to pick up. A cold blast of wind came barreling towards the duo. The Ceruledge stepped in front of them, taking the brunt of the Froslass' Frost Breath. The black knight spotted the Froslass briefly, albeit with her form being cloaked in the snow. The Ceruledge would watch out vigilantly. She would emerge from the snow, attempting to Bite down on the Ceruledge.

With a deft leap back, the Ceruledge managed to evade the attack. In retaliation, he would cut her down with his Bitter Blades, causing the icy specter to drop to the ground.

As for the cause of the snow, a wild Amaura would watch the fight, cheering it on. With the Ceruledge having handled the Froslass, the ice dinosaur would skip off, looking for something else to do.

The snowfall would begin to consume the field. Thomas grinned as things would indeed get interesting.

"Iron Valiant, set up an Electric Terrain!", ordered the trainer.

The mechanical paladin would pound into the ground, causing the ground underneath them to surge with electricity. This would cause the Gallade's strength to increase.

Of course, Thomas would guess the Iron Bundle, given its similarity to Iron Valiant, would benefit from the Electric Terrain. The question was to what end? How would Electric Terrain effect it?

Thomas waited in the shadows for his successor to finish his work on the camera room. Once he got the signal from Callan, he'd bring out not only his Zoroark, but his Malamar as well. Thomas would signal to the Zoroark to disguise them all as Rockets.

Thomas would take on the form of a Rocket with a facemask and red eyes, without the scar on his face. Zoroark would take the form of a female grunt with black hair with red highlights. Essex would take the guise of a burly Rocket with long, messy hair.

The trio made their way to Room 402. Thomas would knock on the man's door with a sense of urgency.

"Yeah!?", the man shouted from the other side of the door.

"Got a message from Underboss Beckett! Says it's urgent, and to be delivered in person!", Thomas called out to the occupants.

Suddenly, their attitude changed, as the man turned off the television, rushing to the door.

"Come in!", he told the trio, inviting them inside the room.

As they all took a seat, the Malamar would immediately begin to hypnotize the duo, quickly putting them under his spell. The brief state of alarm at seeing the Malamar manifest quickly became a submissive one.

Thomas' Porygon would immediately leap into the man's phone, beginning a process of Downloading what data was on there.

"Andraste Breathnach, what do you know about her?", Thomas inquired, getting down to brass tacks.

"Some Galarian socialite. Some Galarian operatives took out her mom and brother, and ever since, she's been trying to get at us. Though it's been several months since we heard shit about her.", the man poured out to Thomas in a dull manner.

With the man's confession, Thomas realized that Rocket likely wasn't responsible for her disappearance. That was, unless he had zero involvement or knowledge of it. But if what he heard about the man was true, then he would've likely been informed of Rocket handling her.

In order to distract himself from his own problems, if only for a moment, Thomas entered a jousting competition. Even if he got eliminated, the sport was something fun for someone who practically specialized in mounted combat.

It was also a good excuse for him to do something with Rufus, who had not seen real combat in the longest time. Something fun and lighthearted seemed to be more his speed, especially after recovering from the battle all those years ago.

"Best of luck, Josh.", Thomas told the younger man, offering him a handshake.

The Arcanine looked over to the newer man, his demeanor more like that of an excitable Growlithe pup, than a proud Arcanine. "This is Rufus, by the way. He's one of my oldest Pokemon. Got him as a Growlithe pup fifteen years ago.", he told the other man.

Thomas' own Porygon would work to assist the Elite Four's own distorted Porygon in protecting them from the security cameras in place. With two working together, surely it would be much easier.

Thomas looked at the picture of the man in question. He was just as the thug he interrogated days earlier had described. Mostly unremarkable, save for the scars.

"I wasn't planning on violence, anyway.", he whispered to Callan. "I'm also looking for someone. I can't confirm if she had also been abducted by Rocket, but they are a safe bet. And if anyone can confirm that, it's probably him.", he whispered to Callan.

Beheeyem and Malamar made for good interrogators. And if Thomas could get access to their data, it would probably help their case.

"I was gonna steal a uniform, blend in with the others, but finding a fitting uniform has been surprisingly difficult.", he told the man, who's uniform was clearly ill fitting. Clearly, Callan had a difficult time finding a decent fit as well. "So if you can help deal with the cameras, my Zoroark can cast an Illusion, disguise me and herself as Grunts."

The Delibird accepted the offer, tapping its beak against the Pokeball, and allowing itself to be sucked in.

For a moment, the Beartic stared down the Ceruledge, who got into a fighting stance. Seeing the flaming blades of the black knight, she'd reconsider immediately. As the Probopass was being dealt with, she'd quietly back away, and take her leave.

"Right. The infighting will be the death of the League.", he lamented.

He remembered how the League would devolve into complete infighting. The aftermath of the Blacephalon Attack on the Night Market was one example that stuck out. While his peers fought amongst themselves, Thomas attempted to stay on task, retrieving what samples he could, while attempting to defuse the situation the best he could.

Unfortunately, it didn't stop Balder Schwartz and kyle lopez from getting into a fist fight, before they left to retrieve mateo martinez . It was an ugly affair, to be sure. One that left a bitter taste in the Kalosian's mouth, to this day.

Thomas shook the man's hand firmly, before chiming in. "Call me Thomas, or Tom. The only one who gets to call me Tommy is my girlfriend.", he'd tell Kazimir.

That was, if he had a girlfriend. He never confided his feelings to Andraste, before her disappearance. And if she returned at all, would she have found someone else? Would he even have a chance at all?

Pulse would let out a giggle upon hearing this. Though if Thomas could understand the Audinos, he wouldn't object to them calling him Tommy either.

He'd hand her a business card, which was to Duvet Ranch in Verdanturf. "You got potential, Vanilla. If you'd like, I'd be happy to help train you in the art of battling. Whatever you decide, feel free to drop by. The little ones would love to meet someone like you.", he offered her.

The little ones being his small army of Audino, Eevee, and various other cute Pokemon that lived peacefully on his ranch.

"If you'd like to go about your business, I can handle the man in the alley from here. I've got some - important questions to ask him.", he'd tell her, his face becoming serious again.

Today, the two men would be after the same man, but for different people. And while Callan opted to blend in with the Rockets, Thomas instead stalked through the shadows, using the compromised phones of the Rockets to track them thanks to his own Porygon.

As he bumped into one who wasn't on his radar, Thomas would also get ready to draw a Pokeball. That was, until the man pulled down his mask, and spoke to him. It was then that Thomas calmed down.

"Callan. You after the man who runs this place?", he'd whisper back.

He figured he was after the Councilwoman, given his position as Elite Four.

With the foes finished off, he would turn to the leader of the pack, his target. The man was cornered by the strange Tyranitar-like mech. As he begged for mercy, Thread would bind his limbs with String Shot, in order to further immobilize him.

The Iron Valiant and Ceruledge stood guard over their capture.

He would turn back to the girl. "You handled yourself pretty well. What's your name?", he asked her.
