Cold and desolate place that is how Nia would describe Granite Cave happens to be her destination of today due to the letter that she receives from the so-called Father winter. A lone step lets out a short echo that is quickly drowned by the dimness of the cave, a woman that symbolizes purity that is shown through all of her colors pierce through the cave - ignoring the presence of wild Pokemon. Stepping onto the innermost chamber, a sophisticated ancient mural that tells tales about two of the pokemon in legends that Nia able to identify with a single glance, the mural tells the tale of the primal Kyogre and Groudon. Nia has a book about the research of those tales within her library but she hasn't read it thoroughly. Her cold finger traces the mural as if trying to burn the image of the murals to her brain. Her legs eventually lead to Father Winter himself - performing a party trick with a coin in his hand.

"A wish, huh? Sadly, with the criteria that you proposed - There is nothing you can do for me" Nia says. Her only wish is to find the cause of the irregularities from her memories that often comes up from within her dream. As if what she knows right now is something fabricated or false. Memory... Suddenly, Nia grabs her bag and takes out the Ice-type Silvally Memory that she owns. Something within her brain turns and she glares at Father Winter. "On second thought, I do have a wish. I will play your game father."

Nia pace back and forth, trying to deconstruct the riddle that Mars has given to her. She is lost to her own thought, the labyrinth of wonder where no one knows where it will lead them - including Nia, herself. From the passage alone, Nia is able to distinguish that the pokemon have a high chance to be water-type pokemon. However, knowing that doesn't mean anything as there is quite a handful number of water-type of Pokemon. There is a particular name written there and the name eludes her. Nia smiles at Mars, "this is interesting. You manage to stump me. May I ask for a hint?" Nia asks for a hint without any shyness. Wanting to know more about this particular pokemon.

The two men are being played around like a toy by Nia and that idea alone made her giggle a little bit. However, that doesn't stop the unrest within her mind after listening to every sentence from one of the people. Nia arrives at the save and starts to think about how she could break in, "Mahiro, try to dig" Nia orders then Mahiro quickly digs the ground hoping that she could enter from below. While waiting for the result, Nia takes out a shawl and a scarf and quickly wrapped them around her face. She doesn't want anyone to take notice of what she looks like. She will be here at the spot for a while so she wouldn't be surprised if they caught up while waiting. Nia calls out Chigusa and she is ready to protect Nia in any scenario where they attack her.

Before leaving, the man quickly introduces his real name. It seems that he just realized that he hasn't introduced himself, well it wasn't much of a big deal for her. Nia shrugs as she is gone to the generator room. After entering the room, all she could hear is the voice of the machinery working hard to keep the water stays warm. Nia carefully threads around, looking at every corner making sure she doesn't miss any but she doesn't see anything worth noticing. There is no other living being besides her within that room. Nia sighs feeling a bit dejected and decides to come out from the room and go to the Bath area hoping that Asriel fights something more worthwhile than her. "Hey, Asriel. Found anything interesting?" Nia calls out to him.

Nia can't help herself giggle listening to the pattern of her speech. It reminds her of a young girl that often visits her library with her mother. Mahiro, who has been staring at the two Lycanroc frolicking around playfully, is finally can't stop herself and join together with those two. Nina comes out from her Pokeball and starts to chase Mahiro like a chaperon she is. Nia witness all of that and just let out a short giggle. "Francie, is it? Your Lycanroc are cute, do they have a name?" Nia asks curiously while standing still on the ice surface with her skate. "I also bit curious about what you are doing here despite not being able to skate?"

The loss of the souls doesn't disturb her as much as she would think, is it due to her ability on separating reality and fiction due to her hobby of reading books? Nia is unsure about that notion as she never actually had a chance to actually witness real massacre in front of her eyes. Grief dawned upon the people around her yet Nia just stands still showing the most minimum expression on her face. Perhaps, the man has mistaken her as a grieving woman but he comes forward and tries to comfort her. "Thank you." Nia offers short gratitude not wanting to waste the goodwill of the people. "However, this is far from over and lives will be lost if we keep dawdling around. This might scare some of you, so I won't force you to follow me but if you are brave enough and want to help me on tackling this crisis together follow me. Together, we could save more life" Nia let out a speech before leaving to the RED flares. Now, she doesn't think much about the meaning behind the color anymore. She just picks what her body leads her to first.

Suddenly, her phone screen shift into a caller notice, and the word "mama" can be seen. "Ah, I need to go now. I forgot that I need to company my mama to do some shopping. See you later, aligator~" Nia rushes away, playfully saluting at him as she goes away.

Nia has made a lot of various contingency plans upon what she could and couldn't do while battling with Mahiro, however one thing that she doesn't expect is the fact that Melody's Lapras knows Thunderbolt. As Mahiro approaches Lapras, a flash of thunder strikes upon her and stops her advance midway. Mahiro feels dizzy momentarily from being electrocuted but she quickly shakes her head to dismiss it. Part of her body shows some burn mark from the thunderbolt but she still stands up. "Mahiro! Are you okay!" Nia shouts, worried, about her condition. She really wants to win so bad, she really does - But if the win comes out from the price of her friend's life, she doesn't want that. She bits her lower lips in frustration, she bits too hard until a trickle of blood flows from her lower lips. Nia wants to say something but quickly gone quiet after seeing the determined look of Mahiro.

'I will see your valiant effort, Mahiro. You already make me proud' Nia thought to herself and give a signal to Mahiro to do her last move for this battle. No matter the outcome of her move, Nia will call back Mahiro and let her rest. Mahiro's claw shines and hardened as she moves in a discreet way where she utilizes the limited vision due to the hail. While the intensity of the hail has been reduced greatly as it will be ending soon - it still can be quite an annoyance. Once she get close to Melody's Lapras - Mahiro quickly unleashed an uppercut swing with METAL CLAW.

After she dealt with the Gabite gang from before, everything went fast and she just go with the flow not fully knowing where she is right now. At the very least she is not that far off from the gang so she is not afraid of getting lost. When she thought that she got free from the swarm, she is now with another swarm that needs to be fended off. Drillbur and Excadrill, sure Nia start to realize how dangerous the journey to the cave can do. Gaku performs an ICICLE CRASH to the swarm with the hope of fending off while Nia is running away and randomly collecting minerals.

Nia just smiles listening to the sarcastic remarks that are made by Mars, confirming that he is already fully convinced that the first manager is indeed Nia in disguise. "Well, a challenge is supposed to be challenging, isn't it? It is not a challenge if the challenger can just answer it directly" Nia comments upon the audio challenges. "Although, since you are one of the first challengers for this format, I was able to gain some feedback and I might do a bit revamp on some part of the system. Nothing major but I am sure it might be more challenging." Nia mutters to herself yet it is loud enough for Mars to hear. "Oh, don't worry. The revamp won't affect your result later" Nia convinces Mars.

"Nah, I don't expect people have an encyclopedic knowledge as I have. However, let's make an analogy, and since you are a businessman I will make a business-related analogy. When you are proposed with a business proposal from others, you must have need some sufficient knowledge regarding the business to make a decision. However, what should you do if you are completely alien about the business itself and has no knowledge about it?" Nia pace back and forth, giving a smile as she stares at Mars. "Well, logical approach is to question. However, to maintain your credibility you need to be wise and often you don't get the information that you really need. Hence, there is where your wits and intelligence is challenged, That is the approach that I take for this challenge. There are many mysteries which pokemon has and often those mysteries can bring fortune or misfortune if you don't use your wits and intelligence in uncovering the mystery" Nia finishes her monologue as she presses a button on her desk as several bookshelves emerges from the ground revealing various books about Pokemon and a PC with a database regarding all known information about existing Pokemon.

"Putting that aside, this is the last riddle for your challenge. Well, it is not much of a riddle since you will be the one who makes the riddle. You can use all of the books here as the reference, you can use the PC to create your riddle, or do anything you want to create the riddle." Nia gives out the last challenges. "Technically, the last round is a bit freebie for you since there is no loss or win for you. However, if you manage to make me stump and unable to answer it - I will give you an extra award at the top of the badge. But if I can answer your riddle, you will still get the badge. The only way for you to fail to get the badge right now is by forfeiting this round without trying." Nia gives a further explanation and then she flicks her finger. "Oh yeah, you are also expected to prepare a single hint that correlates with the answer in case I need it." Nia smiles.
