Speed was the only thing on the Venipede’s mind as she Steamrolled her way forward. She had to eat fast, or the other bugs here would take all the good stuff.

She sped across the field like a tire, leaving wild patterns in the grass behind her as she devoured everything in her path. Occasionally she stopped to spit acidic Venoshocks at the other Pokémon, seeing them only as rival gluttons competing for meals.

Well, at least she wasn’t eating her coworkers.

A String Shot appeared from the tree the Growlithe had landed under, wrapping around the little fire type’s waist until she was left squirming helplessly on the ground. The leftover webbing pulled taut, and soon Yvette’s Pokémon was being dragged away by a Scatterbug with a singed behind; an irritated and vengeful victim caught in the crossfire of her previous Eruption.

”Hey! Don’t let that worm push you around! Flame Wheel!” Her Cyndaquil curled herself into a perfect sphere, then ignited the flames on her back and propelled herself forward, dragging her captor down from the tree and through the dirt behind her. She did a few laps around the field until the Scatterbug’s frantic chittering quieted with exhaustion, at which point she skidded to stop in front of her trainer.

Captor becomes captive.
