Andrea went to visit the shrine super early that day. She was just that anxious to ring the bell one last time before the month ended, and who better to bring with her on this outing than her recently revived Salamence? Meteor Falls was the place where it all had begun, after all; the place where she'd caught Meatloaf back when he'd been just a flightless, round boy.

Using her Hydreigon Sygna Suit in order to Fly, the eccentric girl soared over the whirlpool-infested waters along with her two pseudo-legendary dragons, when she suddenly heard the sound of wailing and agony coming from within the shrine. That voice sounded somewhat familiar... Not wanting to make assumptions just yet, the draconic cosplayer hid behind a nearby rock and observed from a distance.

A cursory glimpse revealed the culprit to be none other than DESIREE BLOOMS, the pink-haired idol being in a manic state unlike anything Andrea had seen before. The meaningful act of obliterating a bunch of rocks with a surprisingly durable bat--as if breaking tiny little pieces of herself--was accompanied by her screaming the names of her friends, while spouting curses against Kyurem and its ill-begotten kind.

"Desi..." Andrea muttered under her breath, overcome with empathy and sadness. She wanted so badly to walk over there and give that poor, broken woman a big, comforting hug. However, this was a very private moment for Desiree. Only alone could she let those bubbling, hateful emotions out. Andrea knew that all too well, for she too had let her grudge against Kyurem fester like a virus, leading her to recklessly fight the monster when it manifested in its truth-bearing form.

So, as much as it pained her to see her friend in such a sorry state, the dragon tamer stayed hidden. There was a time to console people, and there was a time to let them exorcise their demons in peace. This was the latter.

The Hydreigon-cosplaying girl let out a chuckle at her friend's half-teasing remark. "Heh. Not yet. I won't be satisfied until the day I shed my human skin and turn into a Pokémon for real! You shouldn't settle for anything less than your actual dream either!" She exclaimed. Perhaps one day Josh would get a chance to ride a mount that was even faster than Raikou and Saber.

"By doing this, I'm putting less strain on Chomper too. This is his first flight after the battle against Kyurem." The airborne girl explained, while gesturing towards her partner; the dragon's wings still showed faint signs of the decay inflicted by Elisabeth Fiorelli's Ruination on that day. While not debilitating, it slowed down his flight just enough to be noticeable.

With an aerial flip, Andrea landed on the back of Tiamat's saddle, hugging Josh from behind. "It's a pity you're taller and heavier than me, otherwise you could've tried giving me a ride too!" The Sygna Suited trainer quipped, genuinely oblivious to how that sentence could be misunderstood or taken out of context.

Collision Course. The very move used by the bigger Koraidon that had almost decimated their teams was now being used to decimate their internal organs. As their shared mount tremendously picked up the pace, Andrea felt her stomach get pushed to the back of her torso. As much as she wanted to wail in terror, the air was violently sucked out of her lungs. Sygna Suits or not, humans were not meant to reach such velocity.

Landmarks rapidly zipped past her field of vision, melding together into a vertical gradient of mismatched colors. Simply put, her mushy brain could no longer keep up with Kora's ludicrous speed, making this whole experience feel like a fever dream. Her grip tightened around Josh's waist. She pressed her cheek against his back, which gave her a sense of comfort.

As long as he was the one in control of the scarlet beast, Andrea felt safe. That young man might have been an injury magnet when it came to battling, but when it came to Pokémon riding, no-one was more reliable, more focused, more adaptable, and more experienced than him.

"Prince Calcifet!" Andrea cried out in horror as Remiel Calcifet was sent flying straight into Kyurem's giant, greedy maw. Before she could even think of rescuing him, a Ruination meant for Eva Morales and Rayquaza grazed Chomper's wings, inflicting a curse of decay that made his flight unstable. "Don't fall! Don't fall! Don't fa-a-a-a-all!"

As they slowly lost altitude, the young PokéManiac got to witness the conclusion of the greater conflict. With the help of its new avatar, Palkia and the Swords of Justice managed to finally separate the two dragons of legend--forcing the creator of the Silent Icelands back into its dimensional prison, while the stolen Reshiram reverted into a white sphere small enough to fit inside an old lady's purse.

Meatloaf swooped in to catch the falling duo. Filled with WORRY, Andrea activated her Sygna Suit anew, trying to heal her Hydreigon's decaying wings. They hardly had time to celebrate their victory over the devourer of heroes, when the two factions of Hoenn started feuding again over ownership of the Light Stone.

"STOP FIGHTING!!" The dragon-costumed girl shouted at the top of her lungs, more or less echoing John Sullivan's sentiment in a far less diplomatic tone. She was very much done with the whole ordeal. "We drove Kyurem off, and we did that together! We survived! Can't you just be content with that for once?!"

Meanwhile, her two draconic companions eyed jayden cross, Elisabeth Fiorelli, and their ruinous patrons with underlying hostility, feeling the hatred and grudges exuded by their respective avatarships.

Eva Morales's legendary patron soared past them, lashing at Kyurem with an iron-clad tail. Though Andrea lacked the kind of deep connection with the emerald serpent that freya morningstar had, she still considered them a friend. Shooting meteors could only achieve so much. If they wanted to slay that monster, they needed to get close and personal with it.

"Lord Rayquaza needs our help, Chomper! Let's get up there!" The dragon-costumed girl mounted her loyal Hydreigon, who Flew above the harmful terrain summoned by one of the heralds of Ruination. Willfully deactivating her Sygna Suit, the eccentric cosplayer removed one of her gloves, revealing a shiny Z-Ring with a stone already attached.

"Tear that thing to shreds for all the harm it's caused! VENGEFUL HYDRA!!"

Chomper's overflowing draconic spirit manifested in the form of six brand new, serpentine heads, all of whom lunged towards the prophecy-spouting titan with ravenous hunger, targeting its already weakened joints. With the combined might of four dragons, surely they should prevail.

Victory was so close they could practically smell it. All they needed was one last push, yet Andrea's Salamence was already fatigued from continuous use of Mega Evolution. Reverting to his regular form, he landed on the ground, Roosting once again.

"Take a break, Meatloaf. You've earned it!" Andrea patted her draconic steed on the back, before dismounting him. "Alright, Chomper, let's end this with a Draco Meteor!" The young cosplayer then exclaimed, sending our her signature, shiny Hydreigon.

The combination of the girl's Sygna Suit and her BRAVE spirit empowered the green-scaled hydra, who fired an onslaught of flaming meteorites at Kyurem's joints that were the legendary dragon's apparent weak point.

That grating sound should not be confused for singing. It was the tormented cry of a pitiable creature forced to live a life of constant pain lamenting its own birth. An affront against nature, yet not by its own hand. It was the hubris of man and careless science that had cursed it with that dysfunctional body.

"Look, Fishie, water! You like water, right?" Andrea hollered. While waddling towards the lake, her Dracovish tripped on its own oversized head, causing it to fall straight into the water. As soon as the misunderstood fish found itself in its natural environment, its sad wailing stopped. Swimming felt much more natural than walking on legs that were not its own.

The ill-recreated Fossil Pokémon leisurely explored its underwater surroundings, until it came face to face with the mysterious Regi effigy, booping the ancient statue with its snout.

Budget? Finances? She would let Josh handle those. She was no good with numbers or organization... or tidiness, if the way she'd just left her clothes lying on the floor was any indication. The Mauville Gym Leader might have unwittingly chosen the most chaotic person possible as his roommate.

Off they went, a friendly challenge issued to see if anyone could match Tiamat's Extreme Speed. With the city's skyline behind them, Huggles used his own Extreme Speed to keep up with his fellow Dragonite. "YIPPEEEEEEEE!!" Andrea wailed in utter glee, clinging tightly to her speedster of a mount.

The imposing Mount Coronet drew ever closer, the first few snowflakes beginning to fall onto their heads. "We're almost there! Let's slow down a notch!" The dragon rider said, before sending out her trusty Hydreigon to soar the skies alongside them. "Come out, Chomper! It's time for your Sinnoh debut!"

Chomper's presence caused Andrea's Sync Stone to brim with power. "Now feast your eyes on this!" She proclaimed with a smirk, before letting go of her Dragonite, causing her to start falling into the void. Wait what?

Before Josh could fret that his friend had gone suicidal, her Sygna Suit activated, allowing the girl to Fly like a real dragon. Although the six wings on her back did not flap, they gave her enough aerodynamicity to make such an inhuman feat possible. Infinity Energy was doing most of the heavy-lifting, of course

"So, what do you think?" The draconic cosplayer asked, while hovering beside Josh and Tiamat with her arms stretched forward like a superhero. "I've actually brought seven dragons for this trip! The seventh dragon is me! RAWR~!" She playfully mimicked the cry of a Hydreigon.

The two of them traded places, Andrea sitting behind the self-proclaimed Master of Faster with her arms wrapped around his waist. "I'm all buckled up! Do your worst! You too, Kora!" The young woman quipped. She felt comfortable entrusting her safety to Josh. This would not be his first rodeo with a legendary Pokémon, after all.

As Koraidon picked up speed, the dragon enthusiast could feel the wind crashing against her face, causing her eyes to water. A particularly sharp turn made her whole body tilt sideways, but thankfully she kept a firm grip on her fellow Gym Leader. "Whoa, that was intense! I loved it!" The girl mirthfully exclaimed, huddling closer to Josh for extra stability. "I bet you wanna go even faster than that!"

She knew him almost too well at this point.
