"Haven't tried flying on him like that yet. Today's gonna be the first time!" The eccentric trainer casually stated, while her speedster of a Dragonite returned to her side, creating a shockwave of wind upon landing. Mounting the orange dragon's back, the girl pointed upwards. "Let's do this!"

While short, the flight to the hotel was unlike anything she had ever experienced. The sheer adrenaline rush was like the straight edge alternative to recreational drugs. Andrea needed some time to unwind afterwards, entrusting Josh with the menial task of checking them in and receiving their room keys from the concierge.

As soon as they had made it to their fancy, League-funded suite, the cosplay aficionado pulled one of her neatly folded costumes out of a briefcase, and ran straight into the bathroom to get changed. "Human clothing, begone!" She gleefully shouted as her mundane garments flew out of the doorframe one by one.

Being the gentleman that he was, it was unlikely that Josh would even think of peeking on the young woman while she undressed, but just to be on the safe side, Huggles stood in-between, blocking his view of her with his chubby, Multiscaled frame.

"Supermarket? Aren't we supposed to have our breakfasts and dinners at the hotel?" Andrea spoke up from inside the bathroom, accompanied by the distinct noise of stretchy fabric rubbing against skin. "Schedules sound too limiting! We came here to be free from adult obligations! We should just do what feels right!"

Soon, she emerged from the bathroom clad in her stylized Hydreigon Sygna Suit, which she had worn during the Vital City Tournament and utilized to great effect there. "We should get started with our first trip to Coronet right now! There's something really cool I wanna show you!" The dragon-costumed girl said.

Climb Koraidon did, much to the discomfort of its two passengers who had gone vertical. Upon making it out of the cavern, the ancient lizard's colorful plumage expanded into a magnificent pair of wings, allowing it to glide upwards against the laws of physics.

"Wow, now I get why it's called the Winged King!" Andrea remarked in awe, while taking in their surroundings. From the crystal clear waterfalls, to the many Paradox Pokémon running about, this giant crater of sorts had an otherworldly beauty to it that was hard to put into words. If the Ultra Sea was a hell filled with hostile creatures and encroaching madness, this place was seemingly a paradise.

A few glitchy patterns here and there served as a reminder that, despite how realistic all of this felt, it was still a mere simulation. "I think we're gonna get booted out soon. We might as well make the best of what time we have." The dragon fanatic mused, turning back to Josh. "Wanna switch places?" She offered as if tempting fate.

The young PokéManiac was running out of cool and creative ways to reach the Draconid shrine. Ice skating in Meteor Falls? Sure, why not!

"Make it snow, Frosty!" With its Snowscape, Andrea's Baxcalibur turned the cavern's interior into a veritable winter wonderland. Then, using its thick tail as a makeshift sled, the bipedal lizard slid along the frozen lake's surface in a Glaive Rush, while carrying its trainer on top of its belly.

With a graceful flip, the eccentric cosplayer landed in a kneeling position on the wooden platform leading into the shrine. If there were any judges in the sidelines, they would definitely have given her a perfect score for that sick landing.

"Alright, Frosty, let's go inside and ring that bell together!" The girl said while standing up, dusting a few stray snowflakes off her draconic suit.

"Wow, look at the size of that mustache!" Exclaimed an awestruck Andrea at the reveal of Thundurus' true form--his Therian Forme to be exact. "Alright, Chomper, you know what to do!" This was their chance to prove that they were worthy of fighting by Zekrom's side. They could not afford to falter in the face of such a formidable foe.

The young woman's BRAVERY gave her partner the power necessary to Fly directly into the eye of the storm. Upon reaching the Bolt Strike Pokémon's domain, the three-headed dragon rushed recklessly towards the lightning deity, aiming brutal Crunches at its limbs. Good thing Dragon-types were resistant to electricity.

"Wow, you've really come prepared!" Andrea had brought her own winter coat, of course, but it paled in comparison to the one Josh was wearing. The inside looked so fuzzy, she could picture herself snuggling inside on a particularly cold night. And those pockets looked great for storing Potions and Pokéballs.

Eventually, the two Hoennians found themselves in a runway made specifically for flying Pokémon. In the horizon, their destination--the snow capped Mount Coronet--loomed, its peak concealed by a ring of clouds. Josh released his death-defying Drampa, Valoo, explaining how that was a story for another time.

"I can't wait to hear it! Let's see..." The dragon fanatic shuffled through her own Pokéballs. Decisions, decisions... She settled for her Dragonite that had served her so well in the fight against Kyurem. "Come out, Huggles!" True to his name, Huggles gave his trainer a big, affectionate hug.

"You remember Huggles from our Gym battle, don't you, Josh? Now watch this!" Andrea meaningfully nodded at her Dragonite, who understood the order. The orange dragon spread its small wings and took off, zipping around the airport in bursts of Extreme Speed faster than the naked eye could see.

The girl hummed when her fellow Gym Leader asked her about the simian Pokémon's name. "Hmmm, I don't remember, actually. I just call him Lanky." Alas, if her Zarude was still out, it would have proudly roared its own name to correct her.

The two trainers mounted Koraidon, Josh allowing Andrea to sit on the front. "Are you sure about this? I thought you'd wanna control him first." She supposed it was better this way. He was taller than her, so if she sat behind him, her view would be blocked by the back of his head.

With that, the dragon enthusiast got seated, and grabbed the spikes protruding from the Paradox Pokémon's shoulders, giving them a gentle tug. "Alright, let's go, new friend!"

"AGIAS!!"

Onward they went, the scarlet lizard trampling the ground with its webbed feet. "It feels just like riding Gia!" The trainer of dragons remarked, noting that the way its air sacs absorbed most of the tremors was very reminiscent of the modern day Cyclizar.

When Josh thought aloud about naming this one Diesel, his costumed friend had a different opinion. "I dunno. I like the name Koraidon. I think it's cute. Besides, this could be a girl for all we know. How about... Kora?" She proposed an alternative.

Whether its final name would be Diesel or Kora, the apex predator of the past headed straight for a wall, much to Andrea's shock. "S-stop! We're gonna crash!" She cried out a warning, only for the red reptile to start scaling the steep cliff almost like a gecko would.

"Huh, they can wall climb?! Gia can definitely not do that!" The young cosplayer mused, while grasping Koraidon's steering bones for dear life. "Hold onto me, Josh!"

"W-w-w-what?!" A dumbstruck Andrea stammered at the sight of Tofu growing to ginormous size, blotting out the sun and casting a massive shadow over Lilycove's unsuspecting populace.

That was the mind-numbingly terrifying power of Dynamaxing. For a few chaotic minutes, the kaiju-esque rat became a god of thunder. "We've gotta stop him before this gets outta hand! Use Draco Meteor!"

Motivated by his trainer's BRAVERY in the face of overwhelming adversity, Chomper summoned a devastating meteor shower against the colossal Pikachu. However, the red-cheeked thunder god survived the onslaught, and shocked him unconscious with a gazillion volts.

"Oh no!" The young cosplayer gasped, rushing to her partner's aid amidst an electrified battlefield.

Chomper was seeing red. In his rage, he did not even recognize the familiar military man with the scar under his left eye. The green-scaled Hydreigon continued to roar, yet he did not attack any of the personnel that had gathered in the lobby.

Perhaps if they weren't so busy being scared shitless, they would notice the young woman literally bleeding out on the floor. "Mr. Doug... help..." Andrea weakly muttered, before passing out from blood loss, a sight that caused Chomper to completely lose it.

Bam! The berserk dragon slammed his middle head against a wall, creating a web of cracks on it.

He would kill them!

He would kill the one who did this to her!

He would gnaw on their bones and suck out their marrow!

Liquid droplets pitter-pattered on the floor beneath him. Were those tears?

The young PokéManiac tilted her head curiously. "Thun-dur-us? Is he one of those buff-looking Pokémon with the mustaches?" She wasn't that familiar with Unova's weather trio, but if anyone was to blame for this thunderstorm, it'd probably be the dude with thunder literally in his name.

At the mention of a challenge, Chomper got insanely Worked Up, the shiny Hydreigon looking very excited at the prospect of facing off against another legendary.

"Well, there's your answer!" Andrea remarked, turning back towards the Galarian ambassador. "We'll fight with you and Zekrom... if Zekrom is okay with that, of course." The girl sheepishly added.

Things were looking up again. However, much to Andrea's surprise, this particular Pikachu could command the power of the sea itself, summoning a giant tidal wave out of thin air. Was Tofu secretly the new avatar of Kyogre?

"Look out, Chomper!" The Sygna Suited girl exclaimed WORRIEDLY.

The berserk hydra showed no fear, barreling straight into the big wave with another Outrage.

Zap! Chomper was shocked once again by Tofu's electrical discharge, but that only served to rekindle his monstrous RAGE. That tears it, he was having rat for dinner tonight.

"Uh oh, now you've made him all Worked Up!" The Hydreigon-cosplaying woman said, as her ace Pokémon barreled into the little Pikachu with a powerful and destructive Outrage.
