, haloed in rainbow starlight, descended from the heavens like a draconic valkyrie. Caleb looked up, shielding his eyes and meeting her determined gaze with already-raging stormy blues. It was easy to feel vindicated in her presence, seen for the man he wanted to be not just the man he already was. He could taste victory on the tip of his tongue, his entire body aflame with the sharp hyper-focus of a near-death experience.[break][break]
Maybe this is what it felt like to have a scrap of honor. Maybe this is what it had felt like to be a king.[break][break]
"You heard her," he urged the Terastalized Lyune, and the dragon did not need to be told twice.[break][break]
Galaxy-white flame erupted from his maw, a STELLAR TERA BLAST so brilliant it shone like a thousand diamonds. Caleb had never seen anything quite like it, and when the galactic energy made contact with the mechanical monsters that had emerged from the crystals below, it blew them to fucking pieces.[break][break]

Prophecies revealed in one thread will be revealed in the other thread and vice-versa.[break][break]

Once he's sure that is okay, Remiel scopes out the source of the Paradox Pokémon flooding the scene. The chasm they emerge from is far too large and wide to completely close. Thankfully, there's somebody else making efforts to narrow the wide gap— he simply doesn't realize who it is until ZEKROM draws close enough for him to notice the changes.[break][break]

Standing atop his patron's shoulder, the former ADMIN narrows his sharp gaze at her. "I'm surprised to see TEAM ROCKET employing reason here, Fiorelli. I'd say it's nice to see you again after our last talk, but really it's just disappointing."[break][break]

ZEKROM, in the meantime, waves a single wing and summons an impressive ROCK SLIDE just as several Paradox Pokémon clamber over the edge to attack them. They tumble back down into the abyss before it clutters with even more rock and ice.[break][break]

The onslaught continues, and Luka's defenses start to weaken.[break][break]

There are only so many barriers Madeleine can throw up before wearing herself out. Luka cries out in surprise as a particularly aggressive Iron Boulder manages to cleave their wide guard in twain, but before she can react and his Zekrom deliver a mighty blow right back.[break][break]

"Remi- eh? I-I'm fine! What are you doing here?"[break][break]

The question sounds more aggressive than she means it to. But regardless, she's baffled that would waste time to check up on her. For as far as pawns go, Luka is insignificant. Disposable. There are other matters Remiel could- and should- be focusing on instead.[break][break]

"I think they're coming from down...there?" She gestures down to the crystal-lined chasm. "But don't worry about me, I mean it! Everyone else needs your help more than I do."

And the prince heeds her, disappearing back into the fray almost as quickly as he'd come. Luka stares at the retreating Zekrom for a moment before snapping herself out of it and focusing again on the battle at hand.[break][break]

"Right, okay. W-we need to do more," she mutters aloud. "Sugar!"[break][break]

Her Sylveon responds to the summons with a loud mewl, ribbons already beginning to glow in anticipation of Luka's command. It follows just as expected, with the pair executing their z-move:[break][break]

resplendent ribbons: Sylveon exudes a calming aura from its ribbons to affect nearby opponents. Those affected are unable to use offensive or status moves for a brief period of time.[break][break]

And just like that, a large swath of the oncoming paradox pokemon are reduced to motionless hunks of metal. They're perfect sitting ducks for anyone looking to take advantage of the opening she's created.[break][break]

The haughty Galarian accent cut through the howling winter winds, drawing her attention to a familiar dark-haired man that she didn't care to deign with her full acknowledgment. A tilt of her head was enough, and then the sweep of her emerald eyes as they regarded him, flitting up and down before finding the former Crown Prince decidedly wanting.[break][break]

"I'm sure you're a man well-acquainted with disappointment, Calcifet," she stated evenly, "given the face you're forced to confront in the mirror each day."[break][break]

Defectors were the most weak-willed creatures of Hoenn. The utter disdain and contempt she felt for him radiated from her in waves, whispering of the GRUDGES barely contained in her present state of mind.[break][break]

Razz gives a curse as Tango falls, hating that he couldn't help his pokekmon more. Though his time to dwell on it isn't long lasted as the Iron Bolder that knocked out his Armarouge was now coming at him. Instinctively Razz flexes his hand expecting the heat he once felt yet frozen when it wasn't there. The harsh reminder of what his negligence has taken, and while he knows eventually he would adapt to the loss just as he adapted to the power, it would take time to unlearn what had become instinctive. [break][break]

That's when Salem jumps in to defend his trainer colliding with the paradox pokemon and being knocked back with ease due to their sheer size difference. Its thanks to the DIGUISE that Salem is able to recover with ease, eyes glowing as the cat summoned up a tornado to attack the beast around them with SPRINGTIDE STORM to do his part against the army incoming.

Watching left and right as his fellow trainers and their Pokemon allies were being tossed aside like they nothing by these Paradox Pokemon, Noel grits his teeth, a whole horde of these robotic creatures would prove to be a challenge. By himself there was almost nothing he could do, but together, with his allies besides him, perhaps they could stand a chance. His first order of business was to have his Milotic spread out a Life Dew in order to help recover the damage and fatigue some may have incurred.[break][break]

Then, he had to face the problem that was straight ahead of him. An Iron Leaves comes charging right towards him, aiming to take his life in one fell swoop. The giant steel beast aims to cleave him in two, when suddenly a blast of of water strikes directly against its green body, knocking it away if but for a moment. His Milotic had come to his rescue with a Hydro Pump, eyeing its foe and watching out for any sign of any more attacks. This was going to be a test of both strength and stamina, to quell this swarm would be no easy task.[break][break]

Steven hadn't adjusted to the chaos.

It was only the very real threat of death that forced him to clamp onto the genesect for dear life, all while the world blurred around them.

"Holy shit..."

The only thing more terrifying than the giant world eating dragon was the very rocket beast aiding their forces. Eyes widened, there was no escaping the allure of power like that. To not only laugh at death's face, but shoot out a fucking laser. But, it's within a heartbeat of a second that admiration drips into dreadful realization. It was one thing to learn about these types of monsters, it was another to see them in action.

"Does he do that a lot," the grunt gasped, referring to , "And how wasn't that enough?"

All the while, 's delphox continued to aid the battle, throwing out fire blasts.

Elinor gritted her teeth as she watched the sturdier Paradox Pokemon find the will and strength of body to fight the Divine Gravity.

Deep down she knew it wouldn’t stop them completely. It never did, it never was THAT simple. And so while the Z-move effect ran its course the Aggron began to fight IRON HEAD banging into one Paradox Pokemon before a SHADOW CLAW clawed into another.

If this went the way it did right now they would be overrun. And so she turned to Lars, her face screaming Do-Something-and-do-it-quick.

As more and more trainers headed towards the giant chasm, Andrea and the newly thawed out Meatloaf followed suit. “Wow, that’s a cool-looking Salamence!” The dragon rider commented while flying past and Lyune. Meatloaf also nodded in acknowledgement.

Once the duo neared the underground cavern, stone edges erupted from the ground, attempting to stop them from landing. An Iron Boulder charged wildly towards them, electricity coating its mighty horns. “Meatloaf, look out!” The trainer of dragons yelled.

Her Mega Salamence tanked the hit, retaliating with a boosted Outrage that pushed the robotic Terrakion lookalike several feet back. Seemingly impressed by their battle prowess, the Paradox Pokémon tipped its mechanical head in something resembling a bow.

Andrea was worthy.

“It’s calmed down…” The young cosplayer tentatively placed her hand on the robot’s head. “We need to tell everyone that these Pokémon are not here to destroy us.” The girl mused. Meanwhile, Meatloaf perched on top of a large Tera Crystal, Roosting his injuries off.

Indeed, much as they expected; from the steam and mist, an Iron Leaves suddenly emerges alongside other Paradox pokemon. But this one in particular focuses its gaze upon Makoto and their pokemon, and charges forth!

Tsukiko is quick to intervene - clashing against the Iron Leaves' blades with Dragon Hammer. This gives Makoto a chance to recall Onji so that he can rest; the sudden whiplash shift in temperatures was sure to be a shock to him, and they knew that feeling quite well.

And here, they watch the two pokemon stare eachother down - waiting for the other to let down their guard just enough to attack. But, Tsukiko has the field advantage; as the Iron Leaves charges once more, she disappears into the snow like a phantom, only to leap upon the mechanical beast from behind!

Bee was right. The chasm was far too large for Hoenn's defenders to collapse. Yet it was stupid not to try whatever they could to impede the rampaging horde of Paradox Pokémon. [break][break]

Zev's Coalossal emitted a SMOKESCREEN, spewing black fumes as another measure of defense. Surprised cries from within the cloud of smoke filled the air as the robotic creatures stumbled onto the jagged rocks deployed earlier. [break][break]

One such Pokémon stumbled during its run and crashed into the snow nearby. It thrashed its four hooves and tried to stand, but a leg gave way. With a frustrated bleat, it collapsed onto its side. [break][break]

The sight of an injured, wild Pokémon prompted a reflex every single person born into their world had been taught. [break][break]

Zev withdrew an empty Pokéball from his coat pocket. "If these things are Pokémon," he said aloud to anyone who cared to hear, "then they can be captured and tamed." [break][break]

He threw the Pokéball. It struck the strange, mechanical beast on the flank and sucked the creature into its confines. [break][break]

The serpent and mechanical monster were locked in an intense struggle, neither side wanted to concede and both were keen on continuing until the other fell. The Iron Leaves charges once more with its extended horn glowing with an intense pink color, radiating heat from the sharp blade. Noel's Milotic swiftly slithers away but not without getting nicked by the supercharged stab, leaving a slash across its body as it winced in pain. It would pay that injury back with a Scale Shot that lands right onto its head. The four-legged creature wobbles around before finally falling down, seemingly defeated.[break][break]

Noel lets out a relieved sigh, these Paradox Pokemon were coming out in full force and he wasn't sure if everyone's efforts would be enough to stop them. Regardless, they still had to try. Frantically looking around the area, he watches as other trainers are more or less in the same situation as him. Some able to defeat the robotic trios just like he was able to, while others still in the midst of battle. He would resolve to help out as much as possible, returning his Milotic back to its Pokeball and run to any person in need of help.
