A pang of shyness sent her cheeks blushing when Isaac proclaimed the situation under control with her here.

It was true, but still. Having him say it with such certainty

A certain nod was given as Isaac suggested kicking ass before catching up. She turned her attention to the Pallosand for a moment, but before she could even give it another command Isaac showed just how prepared he was.

Isaac summoned a Corviknight. Within moments a red glow emerged as the Corviknight grew larger and stronger, not unlike Mega Evolution. Satellite birds were sent ahead entering the warehouse currently occupied by poisonous forces, not yet aware of the disturbance outside.

They had been too busy rummaging through the warehouse.

“That’s a nifty trick.” Johanna said, looking at Isaac and his Corviknight, before turning to the Pallosand and saying. “Don’t let them take all the fun!” And off the ghost-of-sand rushed, the grains rushing along the ground into the building. Quickly copy/pasting the previous takedown upon the next Koffing they spotted.

Meanwhile Johanna would move closer to the entrance and peak inside. Given the warehouses enclosed nature, diving headfirst into what could quickly become a poisonous area didn’t seem like a smart idea for her to do.

MISSION: GASLIGHT

Josh offered good points on all accounts, from the lack of prepared ghost types to the frustration of having learned NOTHING from the battle.

A wave came by, Anat took the opportunity to jump it, halting Johanna from entering a long winded mental dialogue with herself about how to approach the battle. Instead, when the wave was conquered and Johanna was given an opportunity to speak she instead focused on the question Josh posed.

“Perhaps he does not want to be Top Champion?” Johanna replied, it was a possibility. “Or perhaps kyle lopez is simply stronger?” Given her lacking experience in fighting either, she couldn’t really tell for sure.

"Since I haven't battled against kyle lopez, I can't say for sure. Have you ever had a serious battle against him?"

The sound of a beating heart gave rise to worry. Had she not known better she would think herself going crazy.

But she knew she wasn’t.

And so she focused on the words being shared by her companions. She gave nods at both. First at Ettie’s comment about clothing and second at Nikita's comment about the lack of predators.

Having reached the edge of what seemed like a nigh bottomless pit. For a moment they considered their options, but in the end Nikita jumped into the bottomless pit. Johanna was quick to follow. Letting herself descend slowly through the grace of the weird gravity in the realm.

And as she fell deeper and deeper, things started to feel odd, seem odd. As if they were being watched. Watched by eyes that she could swear she saw. But when she blinked they were gone, when she turned, there was no eyes to see.

Had it all been an illusion?

She did not know.

JOYLAND

Description:

Joyland is a huge theme park rated E for Everyone, as depicted by the parks mascot Isaac the Bewear. Its whole purpose is to spread fun and merriment to all those who visit. The owner of the theme park Johanna Joy, has spared no expenses to make this a place where there will be something for everyone.

Since the Park also houses the Ever Grande City Gym. It embraces a mild jovial spirit of competition. People visiting Joyland can, for a small prize, partake in Carnival games and Pokémon battles with a chance of winning JoyBucks. JoyBucks is a form of currency which can be used to buy things from the prize booth or acquire discounts at the various eateries and shops located throughout the park. These JoyBucks can be paid in physical tickets or electronically, but the latter requires signing up to the Joyland Club.

MAIN SQUARE

The Main Square is the place where all attendees are funneled into through the gates. It’s a huge area that branches into three pathways. The Square itself is filled with a wonderful assortment of booths with Carnivalesque games and smaller rides that one can whet their appetites on before moving on to the larger attractions.

Attractions Include but are not limited to:

- Isaac’s Ice House: Isaac the Bewear invites all good citizens of Joyland to partake in a veritable feast of icy goodness. Whether you enjoy the classic cone, prefer a soft ice or something else entirely. Here at Isaac's Ice House they strive to sate your hearts desire for a cold treat on a hot day.

- Test your Strength: A generic test of strength. Slam the indicator into the bell above, and you've proven yourself strong!

- Dart Games: Hit Balloons with darts and you can win a prize! Nice and simple, a Classic.

WONDERLAND

Wonderland is a joyous place for all to visit. Step into a world of wonder as even the guests are asked to leave reality at the gates and let imagination run wild. For this to be possible the attractions and employees focus on providing an experience of having left the real world behind and enter a fantastical realm, through their mannerism and speech. One might even consider it a place dedicated to LARP’ing as even the guests are allowed to participate in the world as long as they fill out a “Wonderland Citizenship form”

Attractions include but are not limited to:

Ruby’s Rage House! The citizens of Wonderland are a joyous bunch, but anger is natural for all living creatures. To handle this Judge Ruby the Tinkaton has built her house of Rage where people are gathered to partake in a LARP Battle Royal. Completely safe weaponry has been scattered all around the place, find them and use them to win. Last “Survivor” gets a prize!

THRILL WORLD

Thrill World is, as the name suggests, all about thrills. Here you can find all of the highest and fastest roller coasters this park has to offer. You can also find bungee jumping simulations and other such displays of daring-do.

Attractions include but are not limited to:

Retnauh’s Rousing Rollercoaster! With loops, backward turns and a whole lot else. This Rollercoaster is sure to make you scream with JOY!

TRANQUIL FOREST

The Tranquil Forest is a place of rest and relaxation. Here families, couples, and lonesome children can wander about and relax far away from the hustle and bustle of the other parts of Joyland.

It’s a wonderful place for sitting down and grabbing something to eat at the eateries scattered throughout the “forest” or for those who brought their own food to prepare at the free to use bonfire places. (Of course there are plenty of signs with Grimm the Firefighting Grimmsnarl scattered around to remind you that “Only you can prevent forest fires'' )

Attractions Include but are not limited to:

Ethan’s Eatery: Ethan the Dragapult invites you to eat at his eatery, the main courses being an all you can eat buffet.

THE GYM

Perhaps the biggest spectacle of all within the borders of Joyland is the Pokémon Gym. Like a Fanciful Circus arena it demands a sizable spot of land right smack dab in the middle of it all. One could even call it the beating heart of Joyland.

Watching Gym Battles is permitted during set hours, even encouraged, and as long as you paid for tickets to the theme park it is free. Though, for those who did not tickets can be bought online! (Though fret not the matches are streamed as well!)

“Wait, hold up…. Rewind here. Are you telling me that Callan Young has managed to find a way to rid a Slaking of its disposition toward laziness, as well as giving it Mimikyu’s Disguise as well.”

Johanna was in shock.

Luckily Blastoise focused on making this ride smooth sailing.

When the shock subsided she began to wonder how anyone would deal with such a beast. “I am sure he has ways to deal with it. But perhaps a strategy based around a Ghost type Pokémon might stand a chance?” She suggested.

“Though I am sure that wouldn’t exactly surprise him, so he probably has means against it.” She paused. “Still can’t believe he has such a beast.” Hearing this almost made her realize how lacking of such beasts her own team was.

The foul STENCH was spreading quickly as the group of Koffing was ransacking the warehouse.

A singular Koffing found its unfortunate way outside. Like it’s compatriots it was befouling the air with its STENCH. But not for long.

Just as Isaac found his way to the unfortunate situation, he would be able to gaze upon a spectacle mostly seen in the arena.

Sand rushed over the ground, each grain moving as if it was an individual rushing toward a target as part of a huge singular army. The sand reached into the air, latched onto the floating ball of foul odour and dragged it down.

The Koffing struggled as much as it could, but found itself incapable of getting away. By the time Johanna arrived the Koffing was more or less covered.

“Well done, Hughleikr.” Johanna spoke appreciatively as she came into Isaacs view, dressed more modestly in a t-shirt and pants adorning the theme parks logo and mascot. She was on managerial duties today.

The sand-ghost gave its trainer a sandy thumbs-up.

It took her far too long to notice the young man’s presence. But when she did, she would greet him with a surprised smile. “Oh hi Isaac.”
