Its a quiet sigh, but Night would let him move back. "You know that was not my intention." The appearance of both Smudge and Roze had him raising a brow; but saying nothing. Simply watching the pair race off to seek out the small bug that Pluto was after.

The slight rustle of green at the corner of his eye just barely alerting him to the presence of the lumbering Abomasnow—though the pokemon paid them no mind; even with the racing of Smudge and Roze bringing the pair past its legs.

"A Dugtrio in this cave was unexpected... But I suppose it makes sense; about as much as the Abomasnow there in the tunnel.

I only joined back in August, but so far I've felt super welcomed despite all the questions I keep putting up in the help-desk and I'm excited to be here. The discord is active as heck, and I can see the love that shiv and SPIRAL put into this site and the community just from how easily everything flows. It's a lot to get used to right away, but I'm getting there and I'm excited to slowly branch out more into this world!

"Now now Kleiner Stern, don't be so cruel to the Vanilite." As gentle of a reprimand he could give with the amusement that the other's reaction to the ice-type brewed. Though he'd allow himself to be pulled deeper into the cave without much protest; merely raising his other hand to his mouth to give a sharp, piercing whistle.

A Call for Phobos, as the Malamar quickly drifted around a bend to catch up with the pair; gurgling and chirping its own protesting grumbles at being pulled away from its search.

"The two of them could search further ahead; they know how to handle themselves." Night finally agreed, motioning ahead with the hand Pluto was holding onto. "But, don't forget. The Pokemon you're after is tiny. About the size of apple, if not a little smaller. And we both know how easily she hides in plain sight."

It wasn't too difficult to keep up with Aslan, even once Josh prompted the Pyroar into a quicker gait. It took a bit more focus on his surroundings to keep up, but it was doable. The wild Seismitoad barely given a second glance at the rumbling sounds it gave off. As intimidating of a beast as they could be, the large frog wasn't quite within his wheelhouse of expertise, if he were to go after something like that, Night would rather raise one from as early an age as he could. Just to get a proper understanding of the large water type.

The Impidimp, as quickly as it scampered to approach—would just as quickly be shooed off by the hissing, gurgling clicks of Phobos' alien-language. The Malamar understanding the lack of interest from the way Night's gait carried him, and simply ignoring the... Other Him that glided calmly at the Man's other side.

"It was a pleasure," Night agreed, raising a hand slightly in his own parting wave, "Stop by the club, if you ever find yourself in Mossdeep." There was no need for him to explain which club. After all, having a Malamar for a member of security wasn't a very common practice, given the reputation of Malamars.

"I will admit, I'm surprised." Night hummed, looking Yagyu over once more, "Even the most well behaved I've seen would appear to be siphoning from their wielder. Though perhaps there was more they were not informing me of." Which, he supposed, was possible. Secrets were kept and he didn't tend to pry, unless they were vitally important to maintaining the peace, or regarding the safety of his family.

Though as Josh motioned outwards and towards something he hadn't quite spotted yet, Night would lean a little back—watching the way Josh swung the blade about.

"I do suppose that means that Fallabor is almost around the corner, no?" The slight bit of movement in the corner of his eye would be ignored— If the new Pokémon wanted to present the facade of Phobos, well... It would just have to deal with the moody Malamar itself. Besides. If the Squid hadn't lashed out at it yet, then clearly there wasn't any malice in its actions. And, well. If like the Krokorok, this wild creature decided it was amenable, then he wouldn't turn and cast it out.

He had a habit of taking in strays, after all.

Attempting to Catch Zoroark

"Soot might very well get in a fight with it, wouldn't he?" More just a statement than an actual question, but Night wouldn't get upset if Pluto wanted to say something about it. He knew the Tyrantrum well enough to know just how territorial the dinosaur could be over the simplest of things.

It wouldn't take much longer for the Rhydon to lumber away in the same direction it had come from, drawing Night's attention to the dip in the wall with a nudge back towards Pluto. "Shall we look deeper in? Perhaps they find somewhere far from where a human may usually walk in order to hide?"

A small nod would be his acknowledgement towards Pluto's refusal. Keeping an eye open for any signs of the small bug that his husband was on the hunt for. Though Pluto's question had him looking back over; pulling his hand back a bit from the wall to pick his way towards him.

"I do not know much of the species you're after. They're not very common as far as I know. The only information I could gather was that they were a bug, and an ice-type... Being this is the only place Ice-types seem to be found, they very well may choose to linger near the water." As roundabout an answer as it was, Night could only shrug. He truly had no clue where the Snom might frequent. The slight shivering form of a Snorunt caught his eye for a moment in the reflection of the water—just far enough it was obvious that the ice-type hadn't noticed them, but too far for him to approach quietly if he'd intended on bringing it home.

... Good thing he didn't. Especially as the slow lumbering step of a Rhydon would startle the shivering pokemon off. As languid as the ground-type was in its approach to the small body of water, it still seemed to keep a watchful eye on the pair.

"And I'll assume neither of those were to your fancy?"

"Well, my assumption on that being an actual Doublade was right." Night hummed, nodding his head a bit as Josh spoke; Raising a hand marginally in response to the sword-pokemon's waving attempt. "Certainly seems friendly." Which wasn't a bad thing. Ghost pokemon had a hard enough time being accepted in public, at least the friendliness from the bladed pokemon could hopefully offset such a thing for her.

The Mudsdale was given a once over, though when it backed off, Night looked away. He didn't need to bring a horse home, Pluto might very well strangle him if he did. Even the little Goomy he'd barely picked out on a nearby rock that was bouncing a bit to the drizzling rain was given an appraising look; but ultimately lost his interest. As cute as the little slimy pokemon was, it would be far too much of a mess with the ones he already had at home.

It would be the eventual slap of something against the ground that alerted Night to Phobos' return. The Malamar making an effort to loudly broadcast its movements before settling on just hovering a few steps behind the group, keeping an obviously mistrustful eye on Josh and Aslan from its position.

"It is a lesson many seem to not understand. The number of people—young and not—who do not listen when warned of his hypnosis is... rather large and demand I force him to learn something else instead." The look Night would give back towards Phobos was... Odd. Almost curious, but somehow deeply resigned. "When the security hired at a club is found to be just as rotten as those who want to... play... with the dancers, why would I allow one of my best to lose his most pacifying ability?"

After taking a bit of a break, Night was back on his fishing nonsense again. The two Octillery back to back had just been enough to send him off for a little while. He could practically feel Phobos taunting him from where the squid was lounged in the water; swaying its tentacles just enough to draw attention towards the lure—helping with the catch in its own... weird way.

And... that would be an Octillery. As amusingly fitting as such a Pokémon would be among the others, Night had no real purpose for it, nor did he have a desire to simply have one just for the point of having one. And so just like quite a chunk of the others he'd reeled in. The Octopus would be released, and another line cast.

... Well, truth be told he'd honestly forgotten that Barraskewda was a pokemon that actually existed, and not some drawing from a 6 year old come to life. Regardless, as much as he appreciated how gentle the Pokémon had been with the line, he'd release it back, and recast the line. That one would have time to grow some more, surely it could grow larger than it already was, right?
