It wasn't often that Night left home without it having something to do with the club. No interviews with any hopeful servers or dancers, no running out to grab any emergency supplies that the building had—for some reason—abruptly run out of in the middle of the afternoon. No no, none of that.

Night was out here because of Phobos. Because the Malamar simply refused to settle down. It just had to drag him out and about in some strange pattern that the man didn't quite understand, but knew enough of the Squid Pokémon's tendencies to not question it. Not unless he wanted to explain to his husband why he would be coming home with marks from Phobos' suckers all over his face.

"Are you about ready to go back home yet, Phobos? We've been out here for hours." Night asked, sparing a glance up towards the steadily darkening sky. "The clouds are going to open up at any moment, and I'd rather not be stuck out here for it. You might be accustomed to the water, but I most certainly am n—" Though his words to the Pokemon who was—rather obviously—ignoring him were cut off, as a roar echoed across the plateau.

A Tremor within the bag at his side had Night shifting it forward to peer towards the sleepy Flapple within. Watching her head poke out from the flap to look around in obvious search of whatever had made that sound and dared wake her from her beauty rest! At the very least, some smudge of movement had him turning his attention back outwards and towards where Phobos had turned the whole of his attention in some attempt at a warning display; his 'arms' and tendrils fully extended with the vibrant pulses of the pattern atop his stomach.

It was only the years of familiarity the man possessed with the Malamar that had given some form of a meaning to the odd posture. 'I See a Possible Threat in That Direction!'. While he couldn't fully make out the form from such a distance, Night could at least recognize some splashes of color in vague enough shapes that he could... attempt to identify them.

Either that was someone atop a Pyroar with some kind of Alolan Ninetales, or an Absol beside them. That part was just a little unclear.

Of course, in the mind of keeping some sort of peace and making sure Phobos didn't just abruptly fire off an unnecessary attack. Night would raise the arm that wasn't preoccupied with soothing the grouchy Apple and give an exaggerated wave; an effort to beckon whomever that was closer.

Apple - Flapple

Honestly, the sound that erupted from the Flapple could only be one of absolute fear— nothing less than an ear piercing, shrill squeal as she yanked herself down within the apple shell. Though as nothing more came from it—no attacks, no abrupt shaking at her 'armor', Apple would slowly begin to unfurl herself. Oh of course it was that trouble maker!

A harsher growl would be her only reply, it being the only sound she could make right away to properly voice her displeasure at his antics. "Oh! I ought to drop an apple on your head you brute!" How could Pluto or Night leave her in this strange place with this grumpy ghost? He was awful at behaving!

Oh. Oh No. Did they expect her to teach him manners? She barely was able to convince Phobos to stop antagonizing Soot during nap times! How could they possibly expect her to reign in this little monster!? ... Though as Roze bombarded her with questions; the ire the Flapple held towards him was rather quickly snuffed out. Truly Roze was rather attached to his human, so honestly, how could she blame him for such a thing?

Giving a much softer sigh; Apple could only wave her wings in an attempt of placating motions, trying to soothe the bristling Ghost as much as she could. They certainly didn't need him having another Terror episode!

"Oh, now now. I don't believe Pluto is upset with you at all. If he were, I doubt it would have been I that was placed here with you." At least, she hoped it wouldn't have been her. "I'm certain our Humans just. Need to do something without us? I half remember Phobos mentioning something about it in that cryptic way of his. As for where we are... Well I'm not quite sure of that."

Pluto Fürst

Apple was a good girl, a little feisty when she wanted to be, but usually she was good! "A Very Polite Flapple" Night would always call her, and make sure to scratch under her chin and along her cheeks. So okay, maybe she chewed on a few things now and then, like the table legs when nobody paid her any mind, or decided to 'stretch' her wings and knock an almost entirely empty cup over onto the carpet. So what? Everyone did it!

That was absolutely no excuse for Night or Pluto to just leave her here! Even if it was with one of the others in the house! This place smelled weird, everything was super tall, and none of it was suitable for a regal Flapple like herself! Truly, she would be sure to exclaim every bit of her displeasure about this towards both of them when they came to pick her up! Especially if whomever they chose to help keep her company was just as displeased about the situation as she was!

... Though now that Apple thought about it, sparing a glance around at the yard around her. She... wasn't actually sure who Pluto had chosen to leave her with. Had they even come out of their ball yet? Were they just hiding somewhere she couldn't see them? Apple was certainly quiet when she tried to talk, even if she was a dragon type... Would they even be able to hear her call out for them?

'Well,' she mused, 'I guess there's only one way to find out, right?' Mustering up as much confidence in herself as she could, Apple would give as loud a call as she could manage into the unfamiliar surroundings.

"... Smudge? Roze? Soot? I don't know which one of you it is but that's not the point here! Where are you?"

Pluto Fürst
Mission: Daycare Playdate

Night? Keep Pluto in check? Oh he'd never dream of it. Sure, he'd help field some rather inappropriate inquiries from people, but he didn't make a habit of doing anything to have his husband toning himself down— for him or anyone else. Pluto was Pluto, and that's all there was to it.

Lost in his thoughts, Night almost missed Pluto's shout, lifting his head from his hand to look out the window; not bothering to smother the smile of sheer amusement at the sight of the clingy Tyrantrum. "Seems he forgot to put him away." he'd hum, glancing to the slowly wobbling apple at his side, though the guise the Flapple held would quickly be dropped as the little dragon-type regained her awareness of the surroundings.

"Come on now, you can nap on the way." Scooping the wobbling dragon, Night would make his way through the front door; to instead stare up towards where His Dear Pluto was fighting with such a Fearsome Beast to be let free. "Now now, this is entirely your own fault, my dear." Obviously, there's no heat to his words. Rather a far more teasing tone as he cradled the Flapple to his chest. "You spoil him rotten." well, that was both of their faults. "and you're refusing to bring him with us! How ever will Soot know you're safe on this outing without him?"
