Confidence was never so easy to her. It felt like old hat. When he gets red, when the heat turns on, he looked so cute. In those few moments, between the hot spring doorway and him, she held the control. One last tease, he was at her beck and call.[break][break]

Then the hot spring itself. She finds herself tip-toeing in, a quiet walk forward. Embarassment cannot exist. Instead, she moves to sit on the edge of the spring, two legs dunked in. The hot water feels cool, good on her skin, as her eyes close, her head thrown back a moment in the lull of the heat. She's rejuvenated, but she can't help but hear the struggles from inside the building. 'Adorable,' her mind thinks, as she runs hands through her hair. She'd wait for him here. A special place.[break][break]

And then, moments later, steps. Her head turns to the side. He can see past her shoulder, her back to him. She gives a look, one such that could tell him the words in her mind. How the world outside is cold, and cruel in the winter, but the best way to handle the ice and snow, the chill and rigor...[break][break]

To join her in warmth.[break][break]

Admittedly, she only gave this look in Circhester, and the few times they had seen each other since, when she wanted him nearby. The beck and call, to pull him tightly.[break][break]

"You're blushing," So was she "you're not nervous are you?"[break][break]

Her hand is outstretched, and she steps into the water.

Fear gripped Genevieve sudenly, when all of a sudden, the SUBSTITUTION JUTSU triggered. And any fear replaced with excitement. This was the power of the Z-moves? Sheesh, Dynamax wasn't anywhere close to this power. She just watched the god-like entity ping-ponged along, and for a moment the redhead thought they had it.[break][break]

Damn. How naive. That God of Time truly was made of sterner stuff. How were they going to handle-[break][break]

Then they're engulfed in light.[break][break]

The PTSD is immediate again. How did she not learn her lesson the first time? Genny's face is riddled in anguish. This is Galar. GALAR. She remembers it. The Eternatus that flies through the air, the way the Pokemon wreak havoc in their Dynamaxed forms. She can feel herself having trouble breathing; trouble Zagreus, Gram, and Titan can't fix. She grabs at her chest, when the weapons appear set in stone. Two metallic weapons.[break][break]

"S-Sheriff?"[break][break]

Her heart is in her ear. No matter what her dog, her sword, or turtle do, they cannot fix her. No rubbing, no patting the shoulder, no pets. The DYNAMAX is over already for Titan, and all he can do is seem sad. And Genny stares ahead. Face riddled in sweat.[break][break]

And she reaches for the sword.

The sobs continue. Every tear shed was genuine. Her idols were the reason she came to Hoenn, that she aimed so far with hands outstretched. She tries to rub it away, and with it more just come to replace. Her lips tremble, her hands shake, her throat constricts.[break][break]

When Penny approaches, placing a hand on Genevieve's shoulder, her sobs stop, her head tilts upwards, eyelids puffy and red. Her words, cooed softly, sugar sweet.[break][break]

One day, she'll reach the stars.[break][break]

It's not glamourous. Seeing all the muddied heroes. Meeting them really did alter how she viewed them. It was naivete, thinking they were infalliable. But, even when it isn't glamourous, it doesn't mean that the distance traveled means nothing.[break][break]

"I will," she rubs more to her eyes, wiping her face more and more, as she wipes it away.[break][break]

The sun outside shines just a little brighter through the window.[break][break]

Trying to stop her sobbing earlier, she pulls a tissue from nearby and wipes at her eyes. Such a weak point for her, and showing it to someone she looked up to, that hurt. But she was so supportive, and-[break][break]

That's right.[break][break]

Genny can't help but look down as she dabs her eyes more. "Um... Penny?" she asks, low in tone, sweetness on her tongue as she looks down at her hands. She doesn't want to ruin this. She finally got this acknowledgment, and now? She felt so bad that she might sooner let it go. But she has to ask.[break][break]

"I-" she has to pause first. Now may not be the time. But if she doesn't ask, she doesn't feel right to Ollie. "You're the person that Head Ranger Morales-" she has to stop herself. When she can't look Penny in the eyes, maybe she stepped too far.[break][break]

But she has to know. "-the one he talks so fondly of. Aren't you?"

The northern winds come, and Genny inside this lovely hot spring, turns to the entrance. She knew what it meant. It was friendly, like a swirl that came closer by each second, and Genny's orange-red hair moves with the wind, when the big supportive arms appear around her. And from behind, she hears his voice.[break][break]

She melts.[break][break]

"That'll depend on you, Izzy." Genny's loving tone begins with a little teasing, her head tilts to the side, she's able to stay smooth. Half-lidded eyes a little more lovedrunk, as she moves her own slender hands atop.[break][break]

Rubbing those arms quietly, she moves her hands up and down. "Glad you could make it." She turns her head to the side, and with one arm bending to grab his face, she uses her own strength to pull it down to her level, and lace one cherry-scented kiss on his cheek. Even if he's behind her, he's not getting away without that cute face getting one.[break][break]

"Spring is all ours today. Let's relax, okay baby?" she grins.[break][break]

When she's finally let go, she finds her way out of that skirt and blouse, leaving her with nothing before the towel that goes over her person. With everything handled and out of the way, she's little more flirty, when she moves to the door to the hot springs.[break][break]

"Don't keep me waiting, Izzy," she teases more, one blown kiss, and she's out of view. Her face incredibly red.[break][break]

She literally just did that. That's a huge DESIREE BLOOMS action, not Genny.

Conviction is definitely something Genny has within herself now. In that moment of cleaving the way through, with Gram returning to hand, and charging in, Genny knocked the God of Time back with her Pokemon, and with her hair scorched at the tips, she can't muster another Zagreus blitz, and neither can he.[break][break]

But seeing Navy pull up next to her, has the redhead grin, even more so to the teasing name, not bothered by the simulated STEEL BEAM, because, as Navy responds.[break][break]

"Don't got one of those. But I have the next best thing," she flashes her DYNAMAX bracelet, and a Pokeball already in hand, massive. Small for the God of Time, but big enough that it's the size of an over-sized bowling ball. And with a grin, she throws them forward to the Dialga, all the way underneath the steel Dragon. "You get the Z-Move, I'll get it off balance!" A combination attack for the ages.[break][break]

"Titan! Release!"[break][break]

Within moments, the GIGANTAMAX DREDNAW explodes from below, a massive Drednaw with a roar, and forcing the Dialga upwards. The perfect angle to miss the STEEL BEAM completely...[break][break]

"Take it home, Sheriff!"

Navy's got himself handled, and Genny needs to put keep them both safe against Dialga, and pushing them further into the jungle was a great way to start. With the opening of the maw, comes the famed ROAR OF TIME, and from it all the damage she and Zag caused recovered immediately, and worse, a tree sits in front of them in an obstacle. Turning her head a moment to see that Navy was still fine, she pulls out a Pokeball.[break][break]

Out comes the blade, the Honedge upon the hand of the riding redhead, hazel eyes with fire, as she lets the blade free to her side. The one she got from Navy, and reeling her hand back at the ready to pitch, she throws the blade forward.[break][break]

"Cleave it down, open the way!"[break][break]

With a GYRO BALL, Gram the Honedge flies forward from Genny's hand, spinning like a sawblade to shear the simulated tree down, as Genny's hazel eyes flare up more.[break][break]

"Zag, again!"[break][break]

Speeding up again, Zagreus may hurt more, but FLARE BLITZ once more came through, to attack the vulnerable god of time, coating in flame again, with Gram returning to her hand soon after clearing the way.[break][break]

"You doing good, cowboy?" she shouts out to Navy, a few light red burns on her skin. Zagreus was a dangerous one, but Genny knew she could take the heat.

Sheriff isn't wrong at all, and as the Cyclizar under her teleports with that familiarity, that fading out of time, Genny once more slides into a sideways stop, as Navy follows behind. And once again, just like before, there they are. Dialga.[break][break]

Zagreus, running by the side of Genny now, and slowing his pace down to match the Cyclizar, Genny holds her arm out, and Zagreus is able to, in one motion, pull her off and onto his back. Now, they're cooking with gas, eyeing down the god of time, and Genny is at her prime, she holds on. All of that work with Josh Devlin in the Gym Battle, that made her confident.[break][break]

"Let's kick it into gear then, cowboy."[break][break]

Hazel eyes fierce, she calls out the most important move.[break][break]

"Flare Blitz." It's dangerous to do on his back, but Genny can take the heat. Kyurem's heat was hotter. With a rush forward, with a bounce left, and a bounce right, Genny made sure that Dialga was focused on the burning hot wolf, and before long, the striped wolf got closer and closer.[break][break]

"Everything you got, Zag!"[break][break]

And the collision into metal, that FLARE BLITZ is hot, its smooth, and it's not hurting Genny at all.

It's one of those instances, after the little Palentine's gift, where she's already started thinking about it. To break her lease with her landlord, and accept the offer. She's looked at that key multiple times now, humming wonderfully to herself, her eyes looking it over.[break][break]

It's a decision, a big decision.[break][break]

Today, however, is something she'd been planning since Circhester. With the holiday of love and everything on the horizon, Genny made the reservation. A week after the big day. Why? Because most people would go a week before. This way, they could have privacy. The whole day. Just them.[break][break]

She'd spent all morning, sprucing up. She'd even gotten into make-up, thanking her Girlygang for any tips they can give. She felt like a bad bitch, even with so little on.[break][break]

Lavaridge's Hot Spring was mostly empty, save for the receptionist, and Genny had been waiting for today. She'd taken the proper precautions, and was quietly waiting for him to arrive. A moment to relax for them both. She's looking herself in the mirror, puffing up her hair, checking her face. Her cute red skirt, her top, everything. It wouldn't matter shortly, but she wanted today to be perfect.

Just like with Andrea Vaneau . Only difference? Genny is a little more-prepared, and revs the Cyclizar a little, dodgeing one of the volcano's raining fireballs with a quick slide, getting back onto the track.[break][break]

Overconfident, maybe. But not so bad. "Let them come, then." Her hazel eyes burn, emblazoned by her own capability. Running next to her, her trusted Arcanine, Zagreus, keeping up easily with Genny and Navy both, speeding up as the fire dog lets loose his own capability. How?[break][break]

"Take it, Zag!"[break][break]

Leaping upwards, and blocking one of the incoming fireballs, Zagreus ingests via FLASH FIRE, and speeds up further with AGILITY.[break][break]

Zag is one of Genny's finest, after all. And she grins over to Navy.[break][break]

"Not my first rodeo, cowboy!"
