Now, fully into a massive hug that threatened to push Isaac into the snow, Genny's dainty hands pulling at his cheeks as one of his arms slings around her shoulder, and another around her waist, she was at no threat of falling. Even in her tiny frame, he held her up. He always seemed to be there for her.[break][break]

He was him. He was himself. The best him she could ask for, and all it hinged on was being the same goofball he always was. From the moment she stormed her party with a Fuecoco, to her crisis after her Ultra Sea venture, to the bar when she was in such a pitiful state, or the swamp in their search for the cryptid, she felt like she could count on him.[break][break]

Her cheeks are hotter than they'd ever have been in just blistering ice and snow.[break][break]

"You're always the best you you can be, silly. Didn't you teach me that? Don't let the pain and suffering define what you are, but use it to persevere into what you want to be. You reminded me of that." She digs her cheek to his chest, and closes her eyes. Content, happy, and no longer feeling so alone. When Zagreus and Belladonna make their presence known, Genny can feel the warmth of the Arcanine make its way to shield his trainer of any wind chill. But the guy... he didn't even seem perturbed.[break][break]

The big puppy wagged his tail. How fortunate! A small bark, and he was here for this. Belladonna gave a very polite wave, sneezing into the wind as she did.[break][break]

His question has her eyes open. She realizes all too well where she is, and she breaks away. Well. She pulls her head away. She's a little too comfortable now. She ponders it. "Yeah. Well. We were on Route 105 in Hoenn. I was getting some rest, when I woke up here... this is Galar. Well. Kind of. Circhester to be exact. It's where my mother was born." Despite her Alolan upbringing, Genny was Galarian after all. This was where she too, had been born, before her parents moved to Alola for retirement.[break][break]

But when she thinks about it, and holds a hand out, she feels the snow on her gloved hand. "But it's not supposed to be... this."[break][break]

No ice or snow. She finally is able to pry away from Izzy, and places her hands behind her back, a cute turn of her head, as she circles a finger around a strand of her hair, teeny circles rolled in. She seems to be thinking.[break][break]

This oppressive melancholic feeling in her chest, from this place, from Galar in particular left a lingering pain in her heart. One that she felt she knew so well.[break][break]

"Something about it is so familiar though..." She takes a step into the icy winds, and looks up to the sky. "If I had to guess, I imagine this is due to Interdream Mist though. There's records at HQ of it affecting the mission in Ultra Sea. If I'm not mistaken, it attaches to the mind and psyche of those caught within, and... well. I was the only one here before, so if you don't know what it means..."[break][break]

Then she did. And as she knows this... she can hear in the far distance, a neigh. The tundra grows colder, and Genny grabs at her sides as the winds blow harder. Only affecting one of them here...
