War rages in the skies as Team Rocket and the League clash against one another, a full on platoon of each faction crashing into each other to claim dominance over the battlefield of the island they seek dominion over. It would prove to be a turning point in the war for these ruins certainly, but more importantly than that it was a chance to make one's bones no matter which side of the field you were on. It was a chance to establish reputation, to prove yourself amongst your peers, to show your chops and prove you're the best of the best. And this was something Xenon was very interested in as she spins through the skies atop her Iron Jugulis, blasting beams of Flash Cannon and Flamethrower at any passing Leaguer who thought they could take a chunk out of her for free.

Three heads makes for great line of sight coverage as the war machine constantly swivels its head to pinpoint and calculate the optimal targets coming for her, advanced gravity manipulation making for seemingly impossible maneuvers as Xenon and her Ultramodern Paradox rip and tear through the skies with brutal efficiency. There was little doubt that she was one of the focal points of Team Rocket's assault at this point, doing nothing to stop her was the same as surrendering the pure blue battlefield to Rocket completely as she brutalizes yet another League up and comer with a volley of Dark Pulses, sending them spiraling down to the ground where their graves await.

The screech of Ninja blenders and Dyson vacuums play out her sonata, Keurigs and LGs hop to the beat as she dances through the halls of the Lilycove Department Store. She fights not against the ghosts and ghouls that haunt these appliances, she joins in their merriment and sings in the electronic chaos, the Singstation springs to life as she hops on and belts out a power ballad dedicated to the future, a world where the machines rule and humans dedicate their pitiful lives to their glorious maintenance! The others fighting the Rotoms look at her as if she's insane, but they have to admit she seems to be having some sort of effect confining the chaos to the area around her as the electric spirits join in her Halloween merriment. Argon merely shrugs as he tangos with a Roomba, even the voice of reason amongst the pair had to join in the insanity sometimes.

The sky is the color of a dead television as the boat sails towards the island, its duty relieved as it heads back to base for repairs and rest for all aboard. But the commanding officer can't help but shake a dull sense of danger as she steps out onto the deck and looks out to sea, the ultramodern Elite gripping the rails of the ship tightly and gazing out at some unknown future she can't quite see. Storm clouds rumble overhead, flying all the way back to shore would be a difficult task, but doable if worst came to worst. It would be abandoning every single other person here to death if something truly were to go wrong, but that wasn't something she was overly concerned about. The scolding she'd get would be more annoying than any sense of lingering guilt she felt over some random grunts dying to some half cocked League idiot.

No, what was bothering her was instead the weight on her back as she leans over deck and narrows her eyes. Not the weight of guilt. But the sense that something was coming for Her now. Some past she had discarded was chasing after her trying to exact its revenge, this was the weight of karma trying to break her neck under itself.

So why is it then that her corners of her lips tilt up as she spots something approaching in the distance? Well, she spent every day running away from the past trying to catch up to her. It might be a nice change of pace to execute it instead. "Ready for battle crew! We've got someone looking for a fight in the final round!"

The music of bloody screams sings true in her ears as the imaginary sailors splash into the stormy seas, ravenous sharks and piranhas tearing the poor bastards limb from limb whilst she prances across the deck, body swaying in time with the violent ocean tides as though a concerto was playing solely for her. The song hardly even has time to begin though before Tempest finishes his job in record time, the chime of a Pokeball cutting the music short and bringing Xenon back to "reality" as more Paradox Pokemon begin to skulk in from the shadows.

But these ones brooked no interest from her. Where she sought metal and circuitry, these primitive beasts boasted only flesh and blood, relics of the past that only annoyed her as they crept forwards with a hungry look in their eyes. The girl snarls as Rhodium floats up behind her and glares at the swarm with crimson LEDs, six lights flaring brightly and eliciting just a hint of fear from the oncoming horde before they reassert themselves and begin crawling forwards once more. "These ones aren't cute at all like yours. Lets kill em."

It's almost as if they could understand her words as the dam finally buckles, a progenitor of Volcarona screeching as it sweeps forwards at her only to be rebuffed by a burst of flame from the dragon's maws, lighting its fuzzy mane up and sending it into a frenzy as it drops to the ground and rolls around in sheer agony. "Come on then, who else wants some!?" Xenon screams as the swarm comes rushing in, triplet streams of fire sweeping across them all as Xenon releases her silver Metagross who immediately starts hammering away at the primeval beasts with swinging arms of ice and thunder.

The battle seems almost comically one sided as the fleetfooted roach strikes out at the mosquito's legs, toppling the goliath down to one knee and striking out with a flurry of Triple Kicks to its unprotected chest. One can almost hear the haughty bug laughing regally as its heels impact against cracking carapace, a victory celebrated a tad too soon as dark flames wreathe the Buzzwole's arms and it lashes out with a Dark Lariat to sweep the Pheromosa away and make some space. Type advantages help to dull the blow, the malevolent energy of darkness struggles to penetrate the pure fighting spirit within the bug, but it's certainly not a defensive powerhouse by any means as it bounces across the deck and flips back onto its feet with an annoyed frown. Nothing was broken, but taking hits for no reason was no way to win a battle. The Pheromosa lets out a high pitched chitter as if to scold the brawny Buzzwole, standing back up tall and proud and moving back on the attack as it rushes its rival straight onward with a-

Nope! Wrong wrong wrong! Just before it can come into range its legs bend, shooting upwards into the sky as it Bounces up and over whatever attack the hero planned to counter with, once again descending like a meteor to crush it under its heel once again.

And on Xenon's side, she's staring at Kazimir with... an unfamiliar apathy. The crimson Gyarados was definitely cool and all, but this guy was acting like they... knew each other. Like they had met before in some capacity. And they might have! But if they had, Xenon definitely didn't remember him. "Uhhhh... yeah. Small world and shit. Did I beat you up at some point? Is this a revenge thing?" The girl asks casually as she flicks a Pokeball off her belt and summons forth her Scolipede, the bug immediately using her body to Protect both her and her Gengar from the rain of draconic scales showering down from above. "Cause if this is a revenge thing, that's kinda fucking lame. Holding onto past grudges and shit is like, sooooooo 18th century. Argon, zap him." The Gengar sighs and shakes his head as he waves his arms about and summons thunder clouds above, very obviously the only one to remember their little conflict at the Celadon Shopping Center. But he shrugs as if to say "what can you do?" and hurls a blast of Thunderbolt down from the sky at Kazimir and his Gyarados regardless, an enemy was an enemy regardless of whether or not you remembered them.

A rock hard forehead rushes forward into her face, quick reflexes and even quicker improvisation are the reason she can think fast enough to tilt her own head forward enough to avoid a broken nose. She's still left with a blinding headache though as she stumbles back a step, only just managing to keep her feet under her as Thomas forcefully separates them once more. But the pain clears soon enough and Xenon grins as she shakes it off, once more bringing her sword to bear and staring the man down with bloodlust in her eyes. "Thick skull you've got there. Can't wait to see how many chops it takes to split it." She mutters as she steps forward and swings down with a seemingly straightforward chop. Close attention to her footwork tells a different story however as she pulls back just before committing, left foot sliding back as she draws away from any counter he might have had cooked, suddenly moving into a defensive game as she tries to open him up to make some kind of mistake in his posture to exploit.

The Beheeyem's plan would work well enough as a ramp of stone sends the Scolipede flying skyward, just a moment of hangtime before she comes crashing back down to earth and spinning right back around for another swipe at her opponent. But rather than attacking the opponent who so obviously was ready for her now, the spinning centipede sets her sights instead on the Nidorino, the target she had had in the first place before the extraterrestrial doll had so rudely interrupted them. And now that it was devoting itself to its meditation, that meant there was nobody to stop her from just crushing that little thing right under her!

But yet another variable introduces itself. A corpse rises with the sheer fury of the dead, white tufts of fur darkening at their ends as evolution brings its grace upon the Primeape. Xenon clicks her tongue and takes her hand off her sword for just a moment to swipe two Pokeballs off of her belt, batting them onto the sands and releasing two beings of darkness to take the field. The first is but a mere Absol, its horn agleam with an ebony glow as it rushes the Beheeyem with a deadly Night Slash in tow.

And the other would be a machine to crush the dead back into their grave, a three headed leviathan dragon locking eyes with the Annihilape and humming with sheer power. Its engine thrums softly as it analyzes the threat placed before it, Paradox energy coursing through its circuitry as it cycles through attack options in milliseconds of processing time. Finally the Iron Jugulis opens its mouth and Roars, a triplet beam of Flash Cannons erupting from its heads to put that ape back in the dirt where it belonged.

"Alright let's see, poison gas, poison gas... you know nobody ever labels things simply, you've got all these fancy terms that don't really mean anything to anyone except the person who coined the damn term, why can't one of these buttons just say poison gas? You know what, this is pointless, you're about to bust out of there any second anyways. Goons, please shoot that man in the head! He's about to bust through the door in like five seconds." The gate was already cracking and warping under the rapid alternating temperatures inflicted upon it, slowly expanding under the force of a flamethrower burning its bars, then suddenly shrinking as the freezing bite of a blizzard slams into it. Hot, cold, hot, cold, it takes a solid minute to get through but it happens as the door finally explodes outward in a storm of shrapnel, peppering the poor goons who didn't have the foresight to stand back and thought they could ambush the League officer.

They'd hardly even take ten seconds to barrel through with his Pokemon, the important part was that they would get at least a few good shots in as they face him down in the narrow corridor with their assault rifles, their pitiful little lives amounting to just a few drops of blood shed as Xenon prepares for the final showdown. A light shrug as she turns away from the console and towards the sole entrance to the operating bay, plucking a Pokeball from her belt and releasing her Scolipede, the burgundy bug chittering aggressively as she puts herself between the door and Xenon, preemptively getting ready to Protect her partner from whatever attack Josh might have cooked up.

"Ok ok, let's slow down there. I was not running from you, I was..." Xenon hums thoughtfully and places a finger on her lower lip, what had she been doing again? "I don't know, that was like a whole ten minutes ago, who even cares. Probably wasn't running though. Anyways!" She shoots an arm up cheerfully and moves a bit closer to Yuina, but not too close. Just the right distance to impose upon her, but not so close as to be easily punchable if the girl decided to go for it at any given moment.

Thinking about how to get out was pretty important. But it was made a tad more difficult by the fact that they hadn't entered here on purpose, in fact they had no idea how the fuck they had gotten in here, aside from randomly running through a forest. Good place to start. "Well we were moving a lot when we came in, so it goes to follow that we should probably keep moving if we want to get out right?" Xenon plucks a Pokeball from her belt as she speaks, rolling it back and forth along her palm casually. It rolls close to her fingertips, just on the verge of sliding out of her hand and into the abyss, only to be drawn back into the crook of her hand for the process to repeat. "Using a flying Pokemon probably isn't the best idea, we don't really have a solid handle on how gravity works in this space and flight is pretty reliant on that. Soooooooo, we should probably just keep hopping along."

And as she says this she spots another island moving close, this one a fair bit larger. "Alright no more time to talk, time to move!" It's as she says this that Xenon's arm suddenly shoots out and grabs the other girl's wrist tugging her along as she races towards the edge of the little isle they were standing on, obviously readying herself to jump as the bigger island draws nearer and nearer. "Good news by the way, I can feel this little island's gravity is totally destabilizing!" She shouts as strands of her hair start to float upwards, the pull of gravity weakening by the second as the bigger islands gets closer and closer with every passing moment. "So we're gonna have a lot of wiggle room on this jump if we time it right! Just follow my lead and we probably won't launch ourselves into the abyss! Probably! Ready!?"

The damage to her own ship isn't even worth noting as the mischievous ghoul continues his orchestra of thunderbolts and lightning, snapping at the avian foe he had been set upon with malicious glee in every wave of his little hands. It was a distraction of course, but one that Xenon could disregard as she scans the horizon for her foe.

Yet the threat is already so much nearer than she would have expected, a hail of seeds cutting through the ocean from below and peppering her body ruthlessly. Bullet Seed is a much more apt name than most would give it credit for, each propelled piece of plant matter tearing through cloth and flesh like a bullet fired from a gun. She steps back quickly before any of them can pierce a vital spot, but Xenon was definitely hit bad by that attack, this would require a moment of respite on her part.

"Polonium, please take care of the distractions in my way. Manganese, take care of me." A Pokeball on her belt and the one in her hand open in unison, a Toxtricity and Hatterene emerging to take to the field. Polonium lazily stretches and yawns as she steps out onto the deck of the ship where Xenon had just been torn apart, reaching down to her chest with one hand and calmly twanging at her strings. A deep rumble reverberates from her sternum as electricity races through the air, tracing down to the sea and immediately shocking both Kite and her rider as the Shock Wave electrifies the sea around them. A low power move under most circumstances, but one that a Technician like Polonium knew how to use to its absolute best.

Manganese on the other hand remained utterly placid and emotionless as she looked her trainer over with a discerning eye, Xenon mirroring that stillness as she emptied her mind of useless emotions that would only aggravate the Hatterene. The psychic nods approvingly as she reaches a hand out to touch upon Xenon's head, a Healing Pulse resonating within her mind and tricking her body into closing its own wounds.

Her eyes fall upon the approaching black dot in the sky, a Hurricane buffets both her and her Gengar as the crow knight beats its wings and summons forth a Hurricane to batter the attacking ship. A diversionary tactic meant to draw attention away from the survivors she had yet to finish off, but they were old news anyways, she didn't care. Her hood is blown back and her hair whips about in the wind, miniscule cuts opening along her exposed face as the Hurricane rips and tears through the air around them, but her focus wavers not an inch as she simply points up to the sky. "Argon, a shower of Thunderbolts if you would be so kind."

The Gengar grins as he raises his hands up and summons his magic, the skies darkening and static building in the air around Artem. And then. CRACKOOM! The boom of thunder accompanies a flash of light as a lightning bolt strikes out at the Corviknight, the fury of god made manifest as Argon tries to knock the pesky bird from the skies in one singular thrust. But assuming it doesn't hit, he would have no issues throwing another, and another as all of his attention is focused solely on Artem.

And with that Xenon's attention turns back to the distance, looking out in Eris's direction as she focuses on the future and the wall she has yet to overcome. "No more games crew. Bring us towards the Avatar, I have business with them." The boat rumbles to life as it starts to approach Eris, Xenon standing on the ship's bow with a Pokeball in hand as she scans for her target. "I can feel you Avatar! Come out now and face your future!"

Xenon's attention floats over to one of the neighboring ships as chaos erupts on deck, several Rockets screaming and throwing out their Pokemon to fight the alien creature as it literally laughed at their efforts and punched a hole in the deck of the ship with but a single fist. But where everyone else is panicking as the radios begin to go crazy, Xenon can only smile as she spies the familiar form of a Buzzwole on deck, hand reaching down to her belt and tossing up a special Pokeball to answer the silent challenge. "Nobelium, you will not believe who I just found."

A split second to react as the creature Bounces into the air, an lithe cockroach descending from the heavens and slamming a pristine heel into the Buzzwole's body as it screeches with rage, ancestral enemies pit against one another once more, a Pheromosa enters the ring. "Come out come out where ever you are League trash~" Xenon calls out as she has her Gengar pick her up and carry her over to the S.S. Sharpedo, snapping her fingers and bringing everyone to attention as they clear the deck. "Nobelium, lets see if the bug has its seal legs." The Ultra Beast's form lowers as it starts to circle the Buzzwole rapidly, leading up to a rapid Low Kick to the legs as it attempts to use the mosquito's grotesquely muscular body against it and crush it under the the weight of itself.

"I totally agree. People are beyond stupid these days, always have been honestly. But like yeah, you're totally in a predicament, it's cool that you didn't notice. Like I said, lot of stupid people these days, I'm used to it, no biggie." Her confidence... it's not the blind confidence borne of a newbie trainer who's never lost a fight. She's totally assured of herself, the kind of confidence earned from experience and knowledge. The way she commands her Pokemon speaks to that fact, she's developed a non verbal code just to keep her enemies on the back foot, she formulates plans on the fly and can adjust to those plans breaking apart just as fast. Insane though she may be, she was by no means stupid or overly cocky. If she thought that he was in a predicament, she assuredly meant it.

"My thing is different, because I'm not predicting the future. I'm telling you what the future will be, because I know for a fact that I'm going to deliver on it. Predictions are guesses, I'm telling you the facts of life." Her grin grows cruel and her plan springs into motion, a plan that should have went off without a hitch, save for the small problem that presented itself in that moment.

It all happens in a fraction of a second, the kind of thing where you blink and you miss it. The Alakazam disappears into the aether, the man pulls a gun and narrowly dodges her Absol's attack, firing a bullet into its hide and eliciting a sharp screech from him as he tumbles forwards. A ghostly force slams into her back as the Houndstone tackles into her from behind, emerging from a ghostly portal and throwing his body into hers. It should have broken her oh so human spine, yet curiously enough the worst of it is her breath being knocked out of her and pushing her over as the Houndstone mounts her, her vision is a little blurry as her face is pressed into the mud, but she's already adjusting once again as she raises her claw and slams it down into the ground hard.

Three things happen at once as Xenon's metal fist hits the ground, a flash of energy illuminating her body as a large gem reveals itself embedded on the back of her hand. The first, is her Garchomp which never had the chance to perform the ambush as she wanted, would rush towards her trainer and Crunch down into the Houndstone's head to throw it off of Xenon, having gone almost entirely feral as it sinks deep into its dragon trance and chasing down her target.

The second, is her hand itself lighting up with dark purple energy, clenched into a furious fist as Xenon channels her humiliated rage into deadly intent. The stone upon her claw resonates with something, with someone.

And the third, is the pained howl of an Absol as he staggers to his feet and glares at Nikita, Justified in his rage now as that same dark purple energy cloaks its body and forms into a shell of pure darkness. Cracks of light form around the egg, in an explosion of color and sound the Absol emerges in a new form, wings forming from thick fur and his horn lengthening and widening into something resembling a sickle, a matching horn beginning to grow from the other side of his head as well. Mega Evolution.

"KILL HIM NOW!" Antimony is all too happy to oblige as he bares his fangs and bursts forwards to slice Nikita in two, a blade of darkness forming around his horns as he spins around with a great and terrible Night Slash.

All the while the battle in the skies continued as Rhodium dives down and narrowly catches the bomb before it can hit the ground, swerving back up just in time to catch a few Ice Shards to the chest, piercing through its metal carapace and eliciting a static screech of pain. The war machine's attention turns back to the Glalie, now fully dedicated to dealing with the glorified snowball as its mouths open wide and a thick stream of fire blooms out to melt the ice type and send it falling back to the earth where it belonged.
