As she coughed she couldn’t help but be concerned. “Are you okay?” she inquired the worry evident in her tone. Since she couldn’t see she couldn’t see what had happened. But figured that perhaps it had been the lemonade that caused her to cough like that. Like maybe it had gone down the pipe or something.

Upon hearing what she had to say she waved it off. “Don’t worry about it. You’re not the first person not to notice. For those who don’t know what to look for it might be missed or perhaps the other person is caught up in their own thoughts,” she said with a small shrug. “Either way I don’t mind.”

So it was a Phanpy. She had heard those Pokémon were really cute. “That’s good, have you ever had to use him for that purpose before, other than having to look for Smoochum?” she inquired curiously. Wondering if Phanpy ever had to be part of a search and rescue team. Perhaps the woman before her was one of those ranger people she had been hearing so much about.

The subject moved on and she considered her response. “I don’t either, I only know what I know from the few times I teamed up with someone to babysit. Most kids are pretty rambunctious. Personally I’m glad I’ve never had to do any babysitting by myself they’re hard to keep up with.”

She had never been the best at reading social cues, so she was trying to discern the tone of his voice. Before she could overthink it, his tone returned to its previous state as he reassured her that being a vegan wouldn't be an issue and even offered vegan options. This was a relief as she always felt guilty when she couldn't partake in food someone else had prepared.

The options all sounded delicious, making it difficult to choose. She had a particular fondness for strawberries, but everything sounded tempting. Although she had tried many vegan desserts before, she had never tasted vegan strawberry cheesecake. After some deliberation, she decided to order the strawberry cheesecake bites.

"I'll have the strawberry cheesecake bites," she finally said. While waiting for her dessert, she pondered what he had mentioned earlier about unlocking telepathy with Eos. She knew it would require patience, but wondered if there was anything else she could do to expedite the process.

To be honest, she didn't really mind. Eos was one of her closest companions. "True, she still has one more stage to go until she's fully grown," she agreed. Eos, for her part, only gave Biscotti a cursory glance. Opal seemed to realize what had happened, though, because her expression had become apologetic.

"Sorry about that. Eos is one of my aid Pokemon. She can get a little into her task, though. She really doesn't mean anything by it. She just takes her duty seriously," she explained, hoping he wouldn't be too put out by Eos's lack of reaction. Despite being blind, she knew Eos well enough to know how she would act in certain situations.

”It was, I really loved the stuff they had. But it was bound to happen with a newer art store opening in the same building,” she pointed out. That was thing. A mall could have multiple clothing stores if they wanted. But when it came to stuff like art stores and book stores one would always force the other to go out of business. Probably due to the fact people tended to buy more clothes than they did books and art supplies.

When she heard that she was okay with checking out the new art store she was relieved. That was good. She was running low on a lot of stuff, so it would be good to see what the new art store had. Hopefully they would have what she needed. If they didn’t it would meant putting in an order for what she needed, which was usually a bit more expensive.

If she didn’t know any better she would think Yuina had just read her mind. ”I hope so as well. Though I suppose if they don’t I could always put in an order for what I need. But sometimes that can take awhile,” she explained. She the wait period wasn’t that big of a deal. It wasn’t like she had any projects that took priority, but she didn’t want to completely run out of supplies.

”I mostly draw and paint,” she told her upon hearing the question. ”I was born blind but I taught myself have to draw by using braille as an outline. Paining was harder to learn but I never gave up on getting it down,” she explained, deciding just to get that explanation out of the way before she could ask.

Now that that was out of the way she figured they should get moving. ”Is there any stores you want to check out?” she inquired as she wheeled herself into the mall.[break] Yuina Higashi

Ignoring her sisters surprise she nodded. ”Sure, sounds fun,” she told her turning her attention back to the game. While she couldn’t see it she could at least listen to what was going on. Especially considering that her sister was explaining to her what was going on.

A Corkeldurr was known for being strong. So perhaps a Pokémon that could match the Corkledurr’s strength. There were a few Pokémon that could do that. Before she could follow that line of thought to much she heard the game maker respond to her sister. She listened to what he had to say curious about what his response would go. So basically there wasn’t very much limitations. That meant that they weren’t limited on what Pokémon that could use.

His response about Avatars was a bit puzzling. To be honest she wasn’t sure if that would be the case. She wasn’t sure how she felt about Avarars herself but didn’t most kids find that kind of stuff cool? She didn’t not to say anything though, after all it was his game.

Deciding not to think too much on it she turned her attention back to the game. It sounded like a struggle to her and she wondered who would pull off the victory. The thought had barely crossed her mind when she had her answer.

So the competitor lost that was a shame. Despite that she was still set on playing. Maybe it was because she was confident that her and her sister would be able to win. It helped that they could add Pokémon to their team, since it seemed they would be facing off against the game owners own Pokémon.

She barely paid attention to the game owner giving the competitor a consolation prize as she turned her attention back to her sister. ”I do as well,” she agreed her thoughts straying back to her earlier thoughts on Pokémon that could match Corkledurr’s strength.

There was only one Pokémon on her team that could do that. And it was probably best if they used him anyway since he would be able to pick her up so that she could more easily participate. With that in mind she released Hercules from his pokeball.[break] Ruby Garcia

Hearing his comment she nodded. ”Yes, it didn’t start to form until after Eos had come to trust me. From what I understand once she had come to trust me she formed a telepathic link with me. She it’s a weak one considering she doesn’t have telepathy as an ability, but it’s better than nothing,” she told him, hoping her explanation would be good enough to answer his question.

Hearing his apology she waved it off. ”Don’t worry about, I’m not exactly short on time. The pro’s of being your own boss I guess. I work as an artist so I don’t have set times for when I have to work,” she reassured him before deciding to get to the rest of his comment.

”I wouldn’t mind smelling more flowers, though I’ll have to make sure I don’t overdo it. Once I smelled so many perfumes it was like my sense of smell went numb,” she told him wincing slightly. ”I’ve always enjoyed the smell of flowers though, so I supposed I would be to put out if I did that when it came to flowers. Switching places with a something else would take some getting use to. She supposed it would be good practice for teleport though, since the mechanism behind the move was similar. The feeling of weightlessness had given her a feeling of being there and not there at the same time. That was the best way she knew how to describe it. Definitely was a strange feeling. But she was well aware that Eos teleport might come in handy, so strange feeling aside it hadn’t actually been to bad.

”It certainly is a strange feeling,” she agreed. Getting use to the feeling did seem like a good idea, so she would make sure to practice. When she got home she would practice using teleport with Eos. Though she would probably wait until her sister was home to practice.

It took a bit for Biscotti to move aside so she could come inside. She didn’t question it, though she was aware that most people would have. Eos made a sound of greeting as they moved past. It didn’t long after entering that the older teen would speak once more. As he mentioned his Pokémon she nodded but didn’t try to interrupt waiting until he would be finished speaking to say anything.

”I’m a vegan,” she told him after the mention of food. Due to being a vegan she didn’t eat a lot of desert based items, not unless they were vegan style. It was possible to make vegan desserts, a bit hard for people not use to making them that way though. Since one had to stray from how they usually made it to make the dessert vegan.

The subject moved on and she shook her head. ”No she doesn’t have the ability telepathy. She has enough psychic ability to form a weak telepathic link between us but it’s only strong enough to tell me things from time to time,” she explained to the older teen.

She hoped that Eos would unlock telepathy as an ability. The idea of being able to use Eos as a way to see even if only temporarily was an interesting one. Speaking of interesting she wondered what Biscotti had been able to say.

”Nice to meet you as well, Yuina,” she said relieved that she sounded so nice. Not everyone was the nicest. Not that she met many people like that. Most of the people she interacted with were only the friendly side. But she had met some not so friendly people before. But with those people she had often felt like something in their life had caused them to act that way. And they weren’t like that just to be like that.

Even so it was harder to deal with people like that. It was much easier to deal with people like Yuina. And she could see her and Yuina becoming good friends.

Hearing Shalin’s comment she nodded before speaking. ”Yeah it is,” she agreed. Basically the only thing she had to worry about was keeping her thoughts clear. Something she was use to when it came to Eos. Since she did have a bit of telepathy link with the Kirlia. Though it was a weak one, not as strong as it would be if Eos had telepathy as an ability.

Teleportation wasn’t something she was familiar with. Eos having never had to use it outside of battle. She only knew she had it due to looking it on her Rotom dex and it telling her.

”I’ve never had to use it. I only know Eos has teleport due to looking it up,” she explained after Shalin had explained what it was like. Considering she was blind she wondered what it would be like for her. Not that she planned on having to use teleport. She tried not to end up in situations where she would have to use it.

The move sounded vaguely familiar. Perhaps she had heard it in passing. She wasn’t sure. But whatever the case it might actually be a good idea to take Shalin up on her offer. So she would know what it was like. If she knew what it was like she wouldn’t be caught off guard if Eos had to use it for some reason.

The fact that a carnival was in the city was definitely a surprise. But she suppose the space center did bring in a lot of tourist. So putting the carnival in a place like Mossdeep did make a bit of sense. Even though it was bound to get crowded she was curious about the festival. About the games and kind of food it might have.

So during one of the times she could catch her sister she had inquired about them attending the carnival when it showed up in Mossdeep. Getting her sister to attend was easier than she thought it would be. It might be because it was rare for her to ask for something. Never really being the time to really want something or to put necessity over wants most of the time.

Knowing how she could get with crowds. Having to sometime deal with sensory overload her sister had suggested heading out earlier. Which she had been more than happy to agree with. Hopefully this way they wouldn’t have to deal with a lot of people.

As they moved through the carnival her sister would explain about some of the games they had. Of course she couldn’t ride any of the rides but one of the games would probably be okay. They all sounded really nice but there was one of the ones that caught her attention over the others.

Meeting new friends was always nice. She knew her sister would probably worry about her meeting someone she didn’t know. Someone she had met on the internet. So she had decided not to tell her. Her sister had enough to worry about when it came to looking after the both of them without her making it worse. So what her sister didn’t know wouldn’t hurt her.

After the one art store in the mall had went out of business she had found another one in the mall. It had seemed newer and better stocked. So she figured that was the reason the other had went out of business. They hadn’t been able to compete with the newer better business. Sad as it was.

She hadn’t really shopped at the new art store though. Had kind of wandered into it by accident. It had been too crowded when she had first went so she had decided to wait until the newness of the store wore off a bit. That way it would be less crowded.

Finally she had heard that business had wore down a bit. So she had decided that she should finally go check it out. However she hadn’t wanted to do it alone. Where was the fun in that. So she had reached out. And to her surprise someone had answered her request and had agreed to go with it. It helped that they had already interacted through Amigo.

Reaching the agreed meeting spot she was unsurprised to find that the older woman had beaten her to the meeting spot. She figured it was because she didn’t have to go through so much work to get to Slatesport. She didn’t mind though, it had given her time to enjoy the sounds of nature.
