Magnus seems locked in and Lani can't help but feel more and more eager to tease him while she had him here. His strong hands snake around her body and grip her tightly with intention. Lani complies as she wraps her arms around his neck and leans into it. Horizontal tango hmm? That was a new one, it caused her to laugh. [break][break]

Leilani loved his honesty and he was pretty funny too. With the buzz of the alcohol in her system warming her up to her core she was ready to have some fun. "Lead the way then babe." Lani purred as she placed a light kiss against his ear before gently pushing away from him and sliding off the seat. Lani slipped her hand into is as she gestured for him to take her out of here since he was so eager to get this thing started.

This certainly wasn't how Leilani expected her night to be going. But she definitely wasn't complaining about it. Clearly the girls were digging one another, that much was a given. While Jasmine continued to tease and tempt her, Lani was considering her options. Either way it would end up with both of them tangled up in each other, but Lani was greedy. [break][break]

"Hmm, I'm not sure a taste would be enough for me babe." Lani said as she reached out and gently pulled Jasmine's face closer to her. Lani's eyes drifted and lingered on the dancer's lips. "I could just eat you up instead." she grinned. Oh she certainly planned on devouring her later but there was still one little issue.[break][break]

"Just one question babe, aren't you still on the clock?" she asked with a soft chuckle. Jasmine could say the word and Lani would whisk her out of here in a heartbeat, no questions asked. But she certainly wouldn't want her to get in trouble. Being a working woman herself now, she understood obligations more than anything nowadays. Besides, Lani could wait.

Leilani's eyes drifted to her supple lips once she sunk her teeth into them. Lani felt like she was being pulled in by every small movement this woman made. She knew exactly what was flattering and what wasn't and she knew exactly what buttons to press, and boy was she pressing them. "Oh you're good" Lani said with a low chuckle.[break][break]

"But, you know, I feel like I could give you an even better performance. Maybe just the two of us?" she practically purred as she snuck the glass from Lani's grip and put her lips to the rim for a taste. Lani's scarlet gaze had a dangerously mischievous glint to it. "Somehow I feel like attempting to get me to go home with you isn't in your job description." Lani said with a chuckle before leaning closer to her.[break][break]

"But I don't mind." [break][break]

The beautiful woman introduced herself as Jasmine before hitting her with a line that reminded her of her first meeting with Magnus years ago. It would seem they were all kindred spirits of sorts. "Alright Jazzy," Lani said as she reached out to twirl a piece of the woman's bronze hair between her fingertips. "You can call me Lani. Pleasure's all mine." she said as she gently raised the lock of hair in her fingers to her lips. [break][break]

"About that offer though," she said as she maintained eye contact with the woman across from her. "Just what sort of tricks do you think you could show me?"

Lani swiped some of the chocolate mix with her finger upon Marshall's question. As she popped her finger in her mouth for a taste her face scrunched up as she stared at the batter. It tasted sour and bitter. Was chocolate supposed be fucking sour? "Uhh..." Lani grabbed the instructions again and pointed at the steps.[break][break]

"I mean we did everything right." she said as she mentally went through the steps in her head. Lani frowned. "Do we try and fix it or trust it and leave it as is?" Lani asked him. In her experience with baking, which wasn't much, but whenever she didn't trust the paper instructions that's when shit would get fucked up. [break][break]

Then again, this was no boxed cookie mix. This batter tasted wrong. But if they were gonna attempt to fix it what should they do? "Add more sugar maybe?" she wondered with a deep crease in her brows. This needed to work out of else this birthday celebration would be a funeral instead.

It seemed her simple party trick was just up Magnus' alley since she watched his smug grin fall off his face in seconds. His eyes stayed trained on her lips practically entranced before falling to her chest shortly after. His mutter of how dangerous of a woman she was tickled her as she watched him take a hasty sip of his drink.[break][break]

"Gimme thirty minutes, I'll have you on my arm, an hour and you'll be moaning my name. Two, and you won't be walkin' straight for a couple days." [break][break]

Lani tapped a manicured nail against her puckered lips, a slight pout on her features. "Hmm, only 2 hours babe? We'll have to fix that stamina of yours first." she said with a mischievous glint in her eyes. A challenge, should he be bold enough to accept. He clearly was rocking enough confidence to make audacious claims like earlier. But two could play that game. And Lani was a competitive soul.[break][break]

Magnus went on to talk about things that motivated him and Leilani listened. As he spoke about his crew and how he was willing to do whatever to protect them she found herself a little envious. He had something special. A place where he could afford to look to the future, to fight for something other than himself. She could only wonder if she would ever get the chance to have something like that. [break][break]

"Sounds nice," Lani said before laughing. "Your crew I mean. Though getting pussy can be nice, can confirm." she giggled taking another sip from her poisoned chalice before polishing it off and setting it back on the bar. She licked the remnants of the honey and lemon scotch off her lips before turning to Magnus with a sultry gaze.[break][break]

"Are you a betting man Magnus?" she purred as she closed the distance between them. Her nails gently scraped against his neck while her breath tickled his skin. "Two minutes." she whispered in his ear. "I bet it'll take less than two minutes on that dance floor before your little friend, is eager to meet me." He knew exactly what she was referring to she was sure.

How the fuck does that even happen?! She didn't even pull on it that hard! Or did she? She was in a panic to shut the thing off after all. Lani could feel her face coated in flour. A quick glance showed her the kitchen resembled a something of a powder bomb aftermath. Leilani was still standing there in shock trying to wrap her head around how things had managed to get so fucked when she heard the snickering.[break][break]

Leilani slowly turned to look at Marshall who was wearing an incriminating shit eating grin on his face and she felt her eye twitch. "You laughing at me?" she asked as she slowly turned to face him. "You think this is funny?" she asked with a narrowed glare in his direction. "I'll give you something to laugh at...c'mere." she said as she stretched her arms out wide and started slowly approaching her friend.[break][break]

"Come give me a hug." she said with a mischievous grin of her own. "You know I give the best kinds." she said fully prepared to chase him around the kitchen if he even attempted to run away from her. This boy was getting flour touched if it was the last thing she did. Since he found it so hilarious. [break][break]

After playing around they found themselves back on track once more. They had to restart but that was no problem since they had an abundance of supplies. This time however Lani was across the room while the whisk was in Marshall's hand. "Okay we gotta mix the wet stuff and dry stuff together but not all at once apparently. We're supposed to...fold it? The fuck does that mean?" she muttered to herself as she squinted at the instructions. "Whatever. You stir the main stuff and I'll slowly add in the rest of the ingredients. Sound cool?"

If there's one thing Leilani loves its expensive shit. [break][break]

We're talking the full ritzy, glam, elegance that one can afford. After all, she was raised in the lap of luxury so it's to be expected that she has expensive tastes. What better place to experience that than a boujee casino? At least, that's what she was thinking before she arrived.[break][break]

After opening statements made by the owner the doors to the kingdom were open and Leilani was left thoroughly surprised. "This could become my new favorite place..." she muttered to herself as she looked around in awe. And that was saying something since she loved her dear Olympus more than anything. That club was her baby![break][break]

But Casino Starlight was something else entirely. Not to mention it had her three favorite things in abundance; hotties, booze, and blackjack tables. Leilani took a moment to bask in the glory of it all. Yeah, she could see herself spending a lot of money here. This place was dangerous. And she liked it![break][break]

Lani had been so excited to come to the reopening of the casino that she managed to talk Magnus into being her date for the evening. And that, that was no easy feat considering the nature of this party and the people they would run into. She had to give him the work to prepare him for the festivities this evening. Sapphire colored orbs, courtesy of colored contacts, drifted over towards Magnus who was her armcandy for the evening.[break][break]

Or maybe she was his. Either way...[break][break]

They looked absolutely dashing side by side. Since Leilani was a lover of all things water related, it was only natural that her costume was that of a delicate 'River Fairy Princess'. The style she went for today was a big change from the things she normally wore yet it still held that signature Leilani touch, exposed skin.[break][break]

Lani was decked out silky aquamarine and glittering gold. The colors seemed to pop and stand out against her tanned skin. Her dress hugged her curves nicely and the gold trim accentuated places where she wanted eyes drawn. The trail of her floor length gown paled until becoming translucent at the bottom while featuring two dangerous yet sexy thigh high slits. The wings strapped to her back shimmered in cerulean and silver, and if you paid the slightest bit attention, you could see that they were moving on their own as well.[break][break]

A crown befitting that of a princess adorned her head. Decorated in azure wings featuring more gold trim and pale pink cherry blossom flowers. Lani searched long and hard for the perfect costume. It took hours before she found something that satisfied her but she finally found something in the end. Though the length of the journey could also be attributed to Magnus' own machinations but that was neither here nor there.[break][break]

Turning towards Magnus she squeezed his arm. "So, what to first? The bar? Or maybe try our hand at a few games? The night is young and we can do whatever we want." she practically sang at the end, eyes shimmering with anticipation as she looked up at him.

Lani's head was thumping mercilessly while the person beside her managed to drone on and on. She would occasionally release some form of affirming sound from her lips to reassure the person beside her that she was listening. Meanwhile she was cursing the fact that she had to be out here in the first place. [break][break]

This person called this a date but she wasn't sure how this was shaping up to be like one. For starters they had to do a trek out here in the first place. But apparently he had planned a 'romantic boat ride' across the river. Whatever that fucking meant. Leilani was too irritable and hungover for this anyway. Plus being out in the hot sun was only pissing her off more. [break][break]

Maybe she shouldn't have drank so much alcohol last night. But it was game night with the ORTHRUS GANG and it wouldn't be any fun without booze to amplify their shenanigans back at the base. Just while her mind was drifting she noticed a swarm of clodsire's ferrying a bunch of wooper and other little pokemon across the river. [break][break]

"How cute." Lani murmured. Eager to see what was going on and potentially make new friends Lani's wartortle jumped into the busy waters to go investigate. Lani didn't even get the chance to say anything before they were off doing their own thing. "Well, it couldn't hurt to make a new friend I guess." she muttered. "Uh Lani? Did you hear what I said?" the person beside her spoke. "Sorry darling, could you repeat that?" Lani asked, plastering a fake sweet smile on her face.[break][break]

The bartender prepared both of their drinks and handed them off before attending to other's at the bar. Meanwhile Magnus seemed to be heeding Lani's request. It made her smile to see he was so receptive. Especially because if she had to judge based on looks he looked like quite the delinquent. [break][break]

But that's just what she liked about him. [break][break]

At the mentions of dreams the slightest cloud appeared in her crimson pools. What were the dreams and goals she had for herself? She didn't really have any if she really thought about it. She was just doing whatever she thought would make those around her happy. It probably why she felt so hollow in the first place. [break][break]

"Dunno if I have something like those." she answered honestly, her tone giving off a light chuckle as she mysteriously took a sip from her drink. "I'm not so much of a future planner but rather a present enjoyer." she said with a warm grin. It's true. She'd rather enjoy what was in front of her than worry about what was on the horizon. "What about you Magnus? What makes you tick?" she asked as picked up the toothpick with a cherry on it from her drink and bit into it. The move was seductive in itself. The way she slowly pulled the berry off the pick with her teeth. How she licked the tip of the pick before placing it beside her drink. And after the cherry was devoured how she took the stem in her mouth for a moment before tying it into a knot with only her tongue. [break][break]

A simple party trick she picked up while at college but a slight show to convey her future intentions with Magnus nonetheless. She was sure he'd know what she meant.

At the question if she'd ever baked a cake before Lani could only grin at Marshall. That should be answer enough for him to know . It shouldn't be much harder than making box cookies she was sure. Marshall did say something noteworthy though. "Something they would both like hmm?" she mused.[break][break]

Well it would certainly be better than making two cakes. "Chocolate huh?" she said as she looked over her recipes. "Yeah I have something for that. This could work." she beams at Marshall. "Okay you turn the oven on and I'll set aside the stuff we need." she said as she tied the strap of the apron around her waist tighter. [break][break]

The prep-work was easy. Honestly if the rest of the work would be as easy as this then they had nothing to worry about. Once the ingredients were all in the mixing bowl Leilani was feeling extremely confident this would be smooth sailing from here on out. "See, this isn't so bad." she said to Marshall as she flicked the switch on the mixer. [break][break]

But she wasn't paying attention and flicked the switch to the highest setting. Within seconds flour popped up from the mixing bowl and burst all around them in a flour bomb. Lani shrieked as flour coated her face and hair and clothes. "Make it stop! Make it STOP!" She screamed as she tried to flick the switch off but the piece broke in her hands.

Tonight was another night of fun for Leilani. A 'friend' had tipped her off about this place saying their time here was one of the best they'd had in a while. Plus it was payday for Lani, so why not make it rain while getting turnt at the strip club? She come here with a couple of friend but they were all spread out around the club by now doing their own thing. [break][break]

Lani didn't mind though, she was having a blast meeting new people, dancing and drinking it up on her own. Just when she was thinking of ordering another drink the sweetest voice caught her attention. "How are you enjoying your evening, gorgeous?" Crimson orbs shifted to the direction of the melodic voice and laid eyes on one of the prettiest girls she'd seen all evening. [break][break]

Leilani couldn't help but feel the corners of her lips turn up into a smirk. "It's better now that you're here." Lani said her nail gently tapped against her glass. She recognized the woman from her performance earlier. She'd been quite fascinated by her. Not just because of her beauty but because of her skill and stage presence. [break][break]

She commanded attention and naturally drew eyes to her. Lani nodded towards the stage where another dancer was preforming. "You were great up there, I really enjoyed your performance." She said with an easy grin.

Dominick's complaints were valid. It was hot as hell out here in the desert sands, even Lani was struggling. Her wrist was beginning to hurt as she fanned herself. "Relax baby," Lani cooed. "It'll all be worth it in the end. Besides, didn't I tell you I'd make it up to you later?" She said as she gently reached out to caress his stubbled chin.[break][break]

A gentle reminder of what was in store for him once they made it out of this. A momentary bout of pain would be nothing compared to the loadout and riches they would enjoy if they managed to secure their hands on this treasure. Leilani had come upon some reputable information about this place from a client of hers. [break][break]

He was in the middle of making plans to raid this place himself but she decided she'd strike first and he would be none the wiser. Was it dangerous, absolutely. But that's why she'd managed to bring along one of the most reliable men she knew. "Where is this thing, anyways?" Dominick asked and Lani frowned. [break][break]

"Do I look like an archeologist to you? How would I know?" she said with an irritable but cute pout. "But no worries, you didn't think I came here without a plan did you?" She said as she placed a confident hand on her hip. "They guy I hired should be here soon. He'll lead the way for us."

Lani knew something was up the moment Cae replied to her text telling her to expect another to join them for their little lunch date. But she gave her sweet older brother benefit of the doubt, which she quickly came to regret. Caelum hadn't changed at all these past few years, this was proof. [break][break]

The smile she had reserved from him quickly faded as sanguine orbs, much like Max's own, landed on her eldest brother. Her disappointment was immeasurable as it was clearly written on her face, but she said nothing until, "Surprised you could take a break from whoring yourself out to have lunch, Lani."[break][break]

Her eyes narrowed sharply in a glare before her facial features quickly shifted to something more pleasant. "Aww jealous? I would be too if I couldn't get any bitches." she said as she leaned her cheek against her hand. "So what brings you here? Shouldn't you be busy losing championship battles or something?" Lani's words were honeyed but the punch behind them stung like venom. He went low but she'd go to hell and wound him where he hurts most.[break][break]

It was always like this between them two of them. Didn't he ever get tired picking these fights with her? Turning her eyes to Caelum she gave him a tired look. "If you want to give me a headache there were more efficient ways to do it."
