Sootopolis wasn't a place that Jasmine frequented often. Rather, she typically avoided the area since Rocket's takeover unless it benefitted her in the end. And after joining Orthrus, she was even more hesitant to step on their turf.[break][break]

It wasn't that she was afraid of team Rocket. But she wanted to prevent gang conflict between the faction and her family. She knew how ruthless they could be.[break][break]

So why, exactly, was she there now?[break][break]

Jazz was there to collect payment from amaryllis karneva, who'd fallen into debt after borrowing some money from the gang. And the poor girl lived in Sootopolis. Made sense, huh?[break][break]

She perched a pair of sunglasses on her nose as she walked into the bakery, knocking on the door frame as she entered. "Yoohoo! Amaryllis! What's good, girl?"

friendship - catty banter - give me free drinks please

it looks like jazz and damien have a relatively similar past. her parents were addicted to drugs as well, but she was sheltered and hidden from the world when she was young due to their fears of child protective services being called on them (they would say it was because they cared about her, but really it was a way to avoid jail time and loosing their money).

i think that they'd have a good time at the bar he works at with some back and forth bantering and picking at one another. she has a thick skin since she lived on the streets for the majority of her adolescent life until she joined the club scene. she has a soft spot for people who went through similar situations she did, whether they like it or not.

she's pretty free spirited and doesn't give a fuck. and she does sleep around. maybe they've even slept with the same dude and gossip about the sex they've had because she'd want to compare the details. was it good or not? what did he do to you? damn that sucks or damn that was bomb as hell. she loves the juicy gossip.

i could either see them getting along or damien finding her annoying as fuck. either way, could open to potential plots relating to their relationship with drug-abusing parents or even rocket/orthrus conflict!

It didn't occur to Jasmine that perhaps... Deimos couldn't swim. Rather, he didn't know how to. She just assumed that everyone had the survival instincts or skills she did. So when he stood there, staring at her like a sad little puppy, not getting naked, she pouted.[break][break]

"What's the hold up, Deimos? Water's fine! Get in."[break][break]

Until... [break][break]

"Oh..."[break][break]

Well, that was a bit awkward, wasn't it? She gripped the platform, looking up at him as she pursed her lips. What could they do, where they could spend time in the water and have fun?[break][break]

"Can you hold onto something? Or... can you see if there's a shallow spot nearby? Surely you can just stand up somewhere?" Oh, because she wanted nothing more than Deimos to get in with her and do Arceus knew what to her.

Jasmine was only fueled by the woman's comment. She wanted to do more, say more. It was now her goal to get her where she wanted: her bedroom. Hell, even the couch in her dressing room would suffice at that point. No one else in the room mattered to her.[break][break]

"Not really. But it's definitely a personal goal of mine tonight. So, what do you think?" she asked after swallowing the drink.[break][break]

Business was ever booming in Club Olympus. Jasmine was bouncing from seat to seat, table to table, entertaining the masses with her glass in her hand. Her lips were cherry red, matching the dress that accentuated all of the highlights and assets of her body. The lonely individuals were laughing and made whole after time with Leilani Ka’uhane and her.[break][break]

However, she spotted that one guy that had become a thorn in their side as of late: Atticus, she'd found out from the bodyguards.[break][break]

"The hell are they doing letting him back in after the scene he caused last time?" Jazz mumbled to herself. She'd have to talk to @keira, raphael dos plumas, and Leilani Ka’uhane about the normies letting in people like this inside again.[break][break]

She stood up, beckoning a server and whispering to him. Nodding to her, she sat her drink on his tray as he explained to the customers that Jasmine had a few things to take care of. She could hear the whining disappointment as she strode away. Grabbing Atticus's arm, she yanked him out of the club, throwing him against the wall.[break][break]

"Woah, Jazz. If I knew you were so into me, I'd be doing this to you —"[break][break]

"Shut the fuck up, Atticus. What tricks are you playing to get back in here? After that stunt, you know you're not allowed back in here. I suggest you leave before I get the big boss here to rip you apart," she said, lips curled in disgust.[break][break]

He'd scoff at her, grabbing her arm to try and turn their positions. "I know you don't want to get big boy Jack Magnus involved, baby. Let's just enjoy ourselves..."[break][break]

Jasmine's knee lifted, hitting him square in the crotch. "Like hell."

That was definitely not the type of deets Jasmine was trying to get. It seemed like getting what she wanted from Marshall was going to be next to impossible. She sighed, admitting defeat to herself as she shrugged like he did.[break][break]

"You don't even wanna remember the good bits of it? Sometimes it's more fun the more sober you are," she teased him with a giggle.[break][break]

That laugh continued as Diesel licked her face, leaving wet saliva across her features. "Gross!" But he became distracted with another Pokemon soon enough, giving her time to clean off his slobber.[break][break]

Hellebore trotted from beside Camellia, spotting the CETITAN clambering by. Whipping up a sandstorm, he used SAND ATTACK to blind the creature so Jasmine could throw a ball in its direction.[break][break]

"There's mythical and legendary Pokemon, right? All these 'Avatars' with these abilities they get from those Pokemon... surely someone could cause such mass chaos or destruction if they were super pissed off and had superhuman abilities, right?"

Jasmine could take the attitude to a whole new level of bitchiness and sass. But since ozias ambrose was in a horrible mood, therefore bringing her own mood down, she decided to leave it alone so they could get in and out faster.[break][break]

Maybe after a long shower, she'd get Jack Magnus to come do some dirty work on her that she was going to get Oz to do instead.[break][break]

If that asshat wasn't fucking around already at 10 in the morning.[break][break]

Swinging right, Hellebore joined her in the smog. The toxic smoke would only affect Camellia horribly due to her dual typing to fairy, so Jazz was left with no other choice than her GLACEON. And she just didn't think her little FRIGIBAX was ready to handle something like this quite yet.[break][break]

One of the WEEZING appeared, letting out another puff of noxious fumes. Hellebore seemed fine, though it attacked with a SLUDGE BOMB. Some of the poison touched the GLACEON'S coat, rendering the Pokemon useless for a moment as he flinched.[break][break]

"Shit! Oz! Some of them have the ability to use STENCH! Be careful!"

Jasmine watched the WOOPERS and the CLODSIRES waddle about the route near Oldale. To most people, they were adorable. And she was no exception to that. Their little grins and the WOOPERS cries were very "awe" worthy.[break][break]

However, she was keenly aware that the spikes that they donned were full of toxins, more dangerous than FOXGLOVE or any other dangerous flower.[break][break]

So she'd keep her distance, until one was close enough for her to throw a Poke ball to. As she got her chance, she tossed it, waiting to see how her luck would fair.

Jasmine's knowledge on food was rather limited with her past on the streets. She just knew that it tasted really good. The name didn't matter to her, so long as it got in her stomach.[break][break]

"A public one? Or a private one?" she prompted with a devious look. "Because I can do a whole lot more with a private one than one in front of the entire gang. Not that I mind showing all of them my goods." Most of them had seen them at that point already.[break][break]

The exception would be @marshall, with his rules not to touch his colleagues. Except for @keira. Those two were so obvious...[break][break]

Jazz swung their hands in between them as they walked, watching Coco and Camellia track down the scent of the missing person. Until Camellia stopped and gave her trainer a stare. "What is it?" she asked, seriousness in her voice.[break][break]

Her hand left his, a sudden coolness where it had been. They were separated, and it was obvious, but this person's life was priority over their... whatever this was called.[break][break]

Jasmine crouched beside the NINETALES, stroking her fur as she looked at the ground. "Magnus. Footprints, and they look fresh."

Wait until they got home? That seemed like the most un-Magnus-like thing he'd said to her in the past month. Usually he was always ready to go. Hell, she thought he would push her against a tree and have a quickie.[break][break]

Jazz wasn't exactly subtle on hiding her surprise either, giving him a look. "That's surprisingly tame of you, Mag," she said warily.[break][break]

Ah, damn. Maybe he was really rearing up to give it to her good back at HQ. If that was the case, she hoped he gave her time to at least stretch and save this outfit before hand...[break][break]

"Daddy Maggie, letting me take the easy way? Awe, I could just eat you up right now," Jasmine cooed, giving him a devious smile. Because there was no way she was going to ruin her manicure or outfit over a corpse. "I'll at least make sure you get a body bag."[break][break]

As they started on the trail, after she had removed her hand, Jazz felt his large one reach out for the one she pulled back. She stopped, looking at him. Confused. Surprised. What was going on? Weren't they supposed to be casual? Hand holding wasn't casual. It was romantic and promised something more — and Jazz knew Magnus couldn't provide that.[break][break]

However, she indulged him, at least in this moment, intertwining his fingers and hers. "Okay. Take lead."[break][break]

Because it meant nothing.[break][break]

A laugh bubbled from her lips, shaking her shoulders. "Seafood, huh? Are you sure all your members like seafood? It can be a taboo topic sometimes. But I'll eat anything. Wine sounds pretty good too. Fruity, though. You know I don't like the bitter stuff."
