Her glalie has already frozen most of it in place so it can’t deathroll, and she finishes the job by pistol whipping it on the head (because she tries not to shoot pokemon when rangers are present).[break][break]

When it slumps to the ground unconsciously, releasing the briefcase, Yujin scowls at the damage.[break][break]

Behind them, the Luxio’s forgotten fish turns out to be a tynamo-and lapping up to the shore right after it is an angry eleektross. Presumably its mother.[break][break]

Yujin walks upon the merry scene with nary a flicker in her expression. One comes across all sorts of unusual encounters when treading the wilderness, and children playing with their pets was one of the nicer surprises.[break][break]

Presumably he was a child. She was getting bad at telling kids apart beyond ‘small’ and ‘teenager’, and they were all children to her anyway.[break][break]

The agent was clad in a wetsuit with very serious-looking dive gear strapped to her back. An equally solemn glalie floats by her side, spared from the sand.[break][break]

She is already pulling the laptop out of the briefcase she had mysteriously managed to lug all this way. Setting her gear up on a nearby terminal, the blue of her optics suffuses the determined cut of her face.[break][break]

Her gaze does a slow pass on the pillars of technology that line the alien temple.[break][break]

“Most things are glowing, so likely yes?”[break][break]

She points to to some of the major cables obstructing the consoles.[break][break]

“In seriousness, I’ll need some time to tell. Would you help move all the wiring? I’ll want you to physically scope out the rest of the area, too.”

The board is filled with too many pieces. Chess, shogi, xiangqi, it mattered not the rules: power spots simply occupied a certain square on the grid, and eventually a piece would land there in the ongoing conflict.[break][break]

“Let us hope it never happens in the cities, at least.”[break][break]

Yujin releases her excadrill and with a pointed snap both her pokemon set about mining. Suffice to say the engineer has a lot of experience in industrial processes, and the way the excadrill digs up all the crystals while the metagross levitates them into a sturdy pile can only be called routine.[break][break]
