"I know, I know," Robin said with laughter as Sinistea rubbed against the egg in her hands, "it's just like how I got you." She couldn't help but be enchanted by eggs. They had given her her ace pokemon, Sinistea. Her ghost chimed with excitement over the baskets of eggs she had to deliver to a daycare in Fortree.

She released Hydreigon and started to load baskets into his back, but she soon realized there were far more than she was prepared for. "This might be too many eggs for you..." Was someone else also tasked with the egg delivery? She hemmed and hawed. It didn't feel right to fly with what she could carry if it meant leaving the remaining baskets unattended.

Robin's exhaustion leaves her slow to react, but she's glad the newcomer is someone looking to help rather than someone in need of it. She's feeling spread a little thin since she hasn't totally recovered herself. "Yeah, lift their head up a little, I'll grab-" she instructs the assistant as she grabs a cloth. Sinistea's aromatic mist helps the dizzy civilian wake up gently, but Robin knows from experience the people tend to come-to with an urge to throw up.

"He's gonna be sick when he-" The man's eyes flutter open and he instinctively turns his head. Robin flinches backward, prepared to hand the cloth over when he finishes. The man could use some water, but Robin's not got any left.

Oldale's community garden was a pleasant backdrop for the work of distributing medicine to residents who were still impacted by the uptick in poison attacks that halted only days prior. The flowers and berry trees created a pleasant scent fitting for spring, though morale was still down from the rampant sickness. Sinistea was put to work chiming and floating just out of reach from kids trying to catch her, Toxtricity was charging electrical devices of residents and Ranger volunteers alike, and Snorlax was napping behind them.

"This is one of the gentler recovery missions I've been assigned," she said, though her voice was strained with tiredness from fighting off the sickness herself. She turned to her partner in crime for this endeavor and asked, "How are you holding up after all the attacks?"

The recent uptick in poison pokemon and related attacks caused ripple effects throughout the region. People were still fighting the illnesses, and for some, it manifested hours or even days later. The sickness was different across the region based on the odd event that happened in the area. Around Littleroot, people were dizzy.

It took no time at all for her to come across someone passed out on the road. "Sinistea, use aromatic mist." She tried to keep the sigh out of her voice. She was worried, first and foremost, but she was also tired. The poison exposure had weakened her, too. Ranger work didn't stop, though.

All of the poison exposure she had received in the last few weeks left Robin feeling light-headed. Still, the poem contest caught her eye. She naturally loved all nature as a Ranger. It took her a long time to draft something from her cot in a medic tent, but her enthusiasm would carry through! She wrote a beloved poem for the nurse to ship out:

"Tox, knock it off!" Toxtricity was a few yards ahead, jumping around the meadow. He kept opening his mouth to try and munch on a combee, but the bugs were evasive. "Tox, they sting!" She couldn't believe he still acted like he had as a Toxel. Perhaps being a shadow pokemon had stunted his growth. She still wasn't sure why he evolved after so much time as a baby pokemon...

Suddenly, a dozen combee rose up from the meadow, humming threateningly. Had they been napping in the flowers?

"Aw, geez!" Toxtricity charged up defensively, but he was quite outnumbered. Robin tossed out Sinistea, but the ghost type just chimed with worry. Combee were hive pokemon, so this aggressive behavior spelled trouble.

The teenager was hanging from the tall tree with a series of webbing keeping his legs attached to the branch. He was hanging upside down, and based on how his face wasn't beet red, it was a recent development. He was passed out.

"It kind of looks like a wurmple's string shot," she mused aloud as she released Sinistea from a pokeball to float up and get a better look. With the insane poison outbreak lately, there was an uptick in angry bug activity. She needed to get him down, get the webs off of him, and inspect him for any bites.

Marshadow was officially a member of the team.

Sinistea seemed to like it. But, she liked everything and everyone. All was good, except that she solved one problem and opened the door to another. Marshadow was an outsider slowly melding into the team, but now she had type: null. It was... a unique situation to be in.

She felt good about taking in black sheep, in a sense, but she was wracked with guilt every time she looked at it. Marshadow had been a harbinger of fear, and now this poor creation was a reminder of her other shortcomings and a reminder of her unhinged behavior back in the laboratory. She had nearly killed the scientist. Could she make amends in some cosmic way by nurturing the type: null away from its artificial instincts to hurt?
