[attr="class","diana"]She wasn't sure what she was expecting, as the WALKING WAKE charged and attacked the icy body. Not a single bit of the frozen water melted, not a bit evaporated. It stayed in pristine crystalline structure.

However, as it charged its final HYPER BEAM, it shut down.

One last kick to where its chest would be, and the REGICE fell over. Her Pokemon roared with gratification, knowing that it had bested the beast of legend before it, and moved to attack once more.

"Yield," she commanded.

And like a pitiful POOCHYENA, it grumbled and came back to its master's side. She retracted it back into its luxury ball, regarding Howard and REGICE with a stare before speaking.

"Did you know this would happen?"

"I have always said I found Hoenn strange. I'm not used to these new findings the region has brought. But it's similar to my home in more ways than one. Conflict, the desire for power. It's all the same."

Though, instead of the League and Rocket, her mind traced it as the people against the monarchy. Against Ronan Calcifet.

Rather, it was her own vendetta.

"That makes you a formidable foe. I have to say, selfishly, I'm glad to be on your side, Bryan." Diana laughed genuinely. "As a grunt unfamiliar with the region, might I ask what may be important for me to learn about Hoenn's team Rocket?"

"Congratulations, Duncan. I hope it's a fruitful marriage." Because that's what Hammerlocke wanted. A continued bloodline, despite the ruin that Remiel Calcifet's brother was causing during his rule.

Though his face displayed a look of displeasure, regardless of his smile. She wondered what this woman was like. Perhaps those were questions for later.

"No need to apologize. It's not common knowledge, I suppose, since it hadn't been widely announced. Most of the people have hope that the prince would return. It's mostly to save face at this point. After all, isn't that what everything is? Politics."

Diana and Remiel were never meant to be married through love. Though, after the events of the prison, and that fleeting sentence: "I've already lost somebody I loved to the MEGALOPOLANS. I won't lose you, too," she wasn't so sure. Diana had been badly poisoned and injured, but she was confident he'd said that to her.

It left her curious, wondering, and yet, Diana was avoiding him, in spite of living with the former prince. It made her head hurt.

Turning her attention back to Duncan, she retracted her Pokemon, sitting on a soft bed of grass since her legs began to ache. She offered him to join her. "I could be better. And you?"

[attr="class","diana"]Its screeching continued. WALKING WAKE was doing considerable damage from the sound of it, and Diana noticed that it was taking longer and longer moments to recharge its HYPER BEAM in retaliation.

So, instead of utilizing fire once more, Diana decided to command her beast to attack in a different style.

"BREAKING SWIPE. Catch him during his charge," she ordered, looking past the REGICE and toward howard slayte.

What exactly was the admin thinking? He was quiet, but she knew his mind was churning. Briefly, she thought back to the chasm and Area Zero, where he'd mentioned REGICE not having been to full potential.

Was that to case now? Still?

"Duncan. What ever are you doing in Hoenn?"

That really was the question. Why are all of the Hammerlocke royalty flocking to Hoenn? Remiel Calcifet, Elise Calcifet, now Duncan Calcifet. Were they all abandoning post? Had they given up on their homeland so easily?

"Remiel's head will be brought on a golden platter to jayden cross. Then, you'll free Hammerlocke of that swine."

For a brief moment, Diana's head was met with seizing pain. She held back a wince, instead trying to smile. "Oh, erm... you know we aren't betrothed any longer..." she trailed off awkwardly, a blush tinging her cheeks as she glanced to the side. That had ended when Remiel left.

"Please, just call me Diana."

[attr="class","diana"]Diana was about to command that her Pokemon run through the drill once again when a voice cut her order off. The lower male tone startled her, and her Pokemon prepared to engage with whatever individual they declared hostile.

However, that voice was strikingly familiar.

Her head turned, and she caught an almost messy array of light, sandy hair in her peripheral. Ice blue eyes met his warm golden ones, and it clicked — Duncan Calcifet. As it was, he was related to Remiel Calcifet, if the name didn't give it away.

She had met him several times before, when they had been betrothed in Galar. Though, Diana wouldn't be able to tell him the last time she'd seen him.

"It is. It took you a lot to get lost. There's a trail not far from here," Diana pointed out, hesitant to point out their relationship.

[attr="class","diana"]With the next attack LOCKED ON, there would be no way that her WALKING WAKE could avoid the HYPER BEAM. As the beam charged and struck her Pokemon, she couldn't help but think back to her battle with Zev.

She wondered if she'd lose, even with the boosted abilities the beast had from the nearby tera structure.

WALKING WAKE roared with an annoyed screech, digging its claws into the ground to prevent it from being sent skyward. Long claw marks scarred the earth as it tanked the hyper beam, smoke sizzling from its body when the charge ended.

The dragon decided to attack next with another FLAMETHROWER, trying to permeate defenses even though the REGICE couldn't melt.
