Roots creek as the ground beneath them breaks away, lifted into the air by an ancient power. They float a few feet above the air for a moment, bobbing methodically. At the sight of yanmega Rampardos sends them careening through the air, destroying anything in their path. Trees crack and cry out. Their sounds echo through the forest as they're sent toppling from the attack.

Pinned to the ground beneath the rubble was the Yanmega, barely clinging to life.

True to its nature Rampardos ran at the Rockruff. Its stretched its head horizontally as it ran towards the puppy. Upon colliding it'd dig its horns into the pup and send it flying with a squeal of pain. When it lands the only indication of life left was the shallow methodical breathing.

Capture Attempt

Dusknoir moved its hands with the precision and ferocity of an orchestra conductor. Each flick of its hands sent the butterfree flying. Gravity slams it to and fro around the forest. The rustling of trees and cries of the bug pokemon echo throughout.

With a final flick of one hand, dusknoir sent butterfree careening towards a fist engulfed by ice.

The bug catching contest was in full swing now. Trainers of all ages enter the Petalburg woods in swarms. The air is abuzz with talk and laughter, a stark difference to the usual quiet of the forest.

Lucas was among the swarms of people that enter the forest. He breaks off from the other civilians. Eventually, he finds himself in a part of the forest where all he could hear was the sound of his own footsteps. The sound of wildlife was absent.

As winter crept close the days grew short in Hoenn. Lucas ended his shift only an hour ago, and already night had cast a veil across the coast. The sunlight was fading over the horizon. Given the time it'd be little more than a distant memory.

"Of course I'll buy it, you know me by now Jennifer." The head scientist talked with his back turned towards Noelle as she approached. "Let Ieyasu know I still have those Aqua Festival artifacts in my collection if he doesn't budge. I know he'd hate it if Oli-," Lucas stops midsentence when Noelle begins talking. "I'll have to call you back later. Have a nice day Jennifer." He ends the call with a tap of a button as he turns to face the dragon priestess.

"Oh, are you part of security?" Lucas asks sheepishly. "I'm Lucas Lane, I called earlier about fixing the pokemon problem."

He clamps down on the tyrunt's handle twice. It makes the jaws clamp down.

"Ohhh nice choice!"

Lucas chortles at the idea of robot arms. Tossing both garbage pickers-up into the air he attempts to flip them. They soar much higher than he expects.

"Oh shit."

Arms shoot out to try and catch the tools which were quickly plummeting. Lucas fumbles around preparing for their landing.

Lucas looks at Priam blankly for a moment. Unsure whether to laugh, sigh, or commend Priam. He really needed an online guide to tell him what'd be best for their flourishing relationship. But with none to turn to he goes with the laughing option, chuckling softly at the thought of Priam getting beat by his roommate.

"No, not all of it. I don't think anyone could clean all of it. But every bit helps." He smiles. "Now, you want the garbage picker with the tyrunt head or the poochyena head?"
