It had taken a bit of convincing but finally Cass had agreed to come along to the school to take care of the berry garden with Knight. It was his turn on the schedule but having a friend along would make it more fun! "We just have to make sure the plants are okay, water any if they need it and make sure no Pokémon have sneaked in for a snack or two." Along with Knight he had his Cottonee, Lettle, since he thought she would be a good help if some berry plants were looking a bit rough.[break][break]
A security guard greeted them at the front gate of the school and they were allowed inside after showing their student IDs, with Kay making a bee-line for the gardens. There were some sports clubs meeting that day too, using the various fields and tracks and pitches for whatever they needed, "Did you ever think about joining a sport?" Knight knew (or assumed) Cass was more academically inclined but he couldn't imagine she'd be bad at a sport if she wanted to try.[break][break]
Upon seeing the berry garden, Lettle let out a soft, almost lost on the breeze chirp and floated faster.

Knight was just glad that the warm-up that Thea had selected wasn't too hard or tiring. He knew it wasn't going to keep being easy but he was confident he could stick with it. After all, his cousin was putting in a lot of effort and this was taking up her precious free time -- he couldn't let her down![break][break]
Hercules let out some impressive sounding oink-grunts as he went through the motions, making sure to flex as much as possible. Kay didn't know what that was all about but as long as the Pignite was having fun, who was he to discourage him?[break][break]
He did notice that Baudelaire had come to the realisation they were disturbing Hammy from joining in with the exercises, so they had marched to a spot opposite their electric friend. They followed the exercises as much as they could but would stop every so often to cheer and encourage Hammy instead.[break][break]
Kay moved into a free spot to perform the punches that Thea had asked for and Pignite made sure he was close to Zeus -- just so Zeus could see how good his form was. "Aw look, they're making friends!" Knight grinned at Thea, totally misreading the situation.

"Must be a weird, Pokémon Biology thingie?" Knight supplied, ever helpful. Not that he paid a lot of attention during his own Biology lessons. They could be difficult at times and he would zone out. Lucky for him, Thea and Cass took good notes so he didn't fall too far behind.[break][break]
Kay agreed that the current location, aside from being unfortunate for the Dojo, wasn't ideal for the 'mon either, "Hmm... Somewhere dry... Would near the Outskirts work better then?" He mused as he looked around. Here was more leafy and probably saw its fair share of wetness judging by how healthy the plants were.[break][break]
He smiled, "Boney bones!" Because he hadn't looked close enough to see more detail than that. But if the Mandibuzz had a favoured prey, it made sense to move her closer to something she'd want to eat. Around here there were small rodents and bugs but maybe that wasn't her cup of, um, bones? "Let's try another spot then?" He grinned, unfazed that their first location hadn't worked out.[break][break]
Nothing was ever that simple!

It was nice to be the winner for once but Knight didn't rub it in. He knew it wasn't fun to lose, either.[break][break]
"Hmm, do you remember the name of that film?" He asked, feeling relaxed and comfortable in their blanket fort. Kay did help to put away the game again and made sure to put back the others too. Now that the area was cleared, they were free to put on a film and fall asleep...[break][break]
He didn't really mind what they watched, Knight had no preference for one kind of film over another, "I'm fine with whatever!" It was all going to be background noise once he fell asleep anyway.[break][break]
Kay took a second to check on his 'mons, then on Gominha and finally on Gideon. Everyone seemed content![break][break]
Gideon happily settled in with Jon and Dermot, letting out a happy 'Kar-kar!' as she took a snack. It was nice to be accepted and she felt she fit in with these two (despite only being a Bug type and not sharing a Poison typing).

"It was such a weird dream..." Knight said to his 'mons as they strolled through the Upper District together. He had heard about a new bakery that had opened -- it only sold desserts for Pokémon. He was going to treat his 'mons and bring some back for Thea's lot too.[break][break]
The Upper District was pretty quiet but Kay knew some wild Pokémon could pop up from time to time. Catching a new 'mon and getting some sweet treats for the gang would be a pretty sweet morning.[break][break]
He just had to hope something would show up!

"Thank you for welcoming us!" Knight replied with gusto and him and Hercules bowed. Bau hesitated for a second but soon the entire Falinks were occupied with bowing as deeply and respectfully as possible once the Brass bowed. Follow the leader, huh? Kay grinned.[break][break]
Knight listened as Thea explained their training schedule and managed not to pull a face, "Sounds fun." Which was only half-true. Still, training his Pokémon in any kind of way and helping them improve was always a good thing to do. Hercules let out an excited grunt-oink and flexed his arms again, which made Kay roll his eyes.[break][break]

He waited for Thea to start the warm-up and then he'd follow along. As would Herc but Bau was more interested in spending time with Hammy so it was a toss up whether they would join in or not. They seemed to have their own way of training and doing things so Knight didn't like to push them too hard.

Knight helped Cass sort of herd the Muk off the Ferry and onto the dock and then to a secluded and safe piece of nature. It seemed safe for the Pokemon and it could recover in peace, "There you go Muk. Be careful with stuff you eat in the future, yeah?" Knight scolded (but not really) and smiled at Cass, holding up his hand for a high-five, "A job well done!"[break][break]
They'd head back to Dewford proper together and Knight laughed, "Imagine fishing up a Muk! I don't think Thea is going to believe us... Hey, where should we fish next? Is there anywhere else around Dewford or maybe we should try again back home..." Knight was rambling now since he knew they had to head back and meet up with the rest of their class.[break][break]
He sniffed the air between them and pulled a face, "Yeah, I hope there's time for a shower before we head home!"

Time to see what Kay could remember from the quick read he did earlier on his broken phone, "Um, apparently they're all female? And they like bones. Oh! They'll attack anything they think is weaker than them?" Was about all Knight could provide for the Ranger but hopefully he would pass with flying colours![break][break]
Their walk wasn't too long and Knight gestured to the area he had been thinking about, "What do you think? I don't think there would be any other bird 'mons around here to cause issues but there's plenty of bugs and stuff. I think they eat bugs? Or maybe something else?" A rattata peeked out of a bush and then quickly ran away again.[break][break]
Knight knew this wasn't going to be a quick fix so he was prepared to search for more places if Loot Guard felt they had to keep looking. "I'd rather not fight it, if we can help it. Especially if she has a baby..."

Loot Guard explained a possible solution to the problem and Knight nodded, "Makes sense to me!" He looked up at the Mandibuzz and called out, "Sorry we're evicting you but! We'll make sure you get a new place with a good view!" He waved and finally nodded at Moiraine, "Come on Moiraine, let's follow Loot Guard and see what we can find."[break][break]
So the Dojo property was off limits but Knight new about a nature trail nearby, "It's not as widely used since this is the Lower District and it's not very big either but maybe we can find a suitable tree there?" He suggested with a shrug. Moiraine followed at a relaxed pace next to him and he was glad to see her so happy.[break][break]
Perhaps the news that they could relocate the Mandibuzz nest had put her into a good mood, "I do hope the Mandibuzz won't mind moving."

As he had suspected, Cass would take charge of the mochi and, really, between the two of them she was the best choice. He gave his friend a thankful smile and crouched next to the Muk again. He'd keep an eye on the Pokémon until they were safely back at the harbour.[break][break]
"Not long now. I'm glad we were able to help this 'mon. I hope they get reunited with friends back on dry land..." It had never occurred to him that perhaps the Muk had come from the other direction and they were unknowingly separating it from whoever it knew.[break][break]
He glanced up at Cass and grinned, "Not much of a fishing trip, was it? Do you think we should try again when we are back in Slateport?" He'd have to see if his uncle had an old rod he wasn't using any more. [break][break]
The ferry boat manoeuvred into position and soon all passengers were called to disembark, "We should probably wait and be the last off?" Kay suggested to his friend as he stood up again.

Listen, it's not important how or why the Naito cousins ended up in Area Zero (they were fetching a delivery for the Dojo in Oldale Town). What is important is that some Tinkaton went crazy, they ran into Lutgarde and they got dragged into the whole mess to help. [break][break]
For Knight's part, he insisted he could help since he had both Harrow and Hercules with him today.[break][break]
A shard of something that seemed like a magical crystal (to Kay) appeared all around them and he watched in amazement as Loot Guard's Pokémon changed. Harrow seemed keen to try it out as well so he pointed at the nearest Tinkaton that was headed their way, "Alright Harrow, it's Magical Crystal Girl Time!" His Charcadet suddenly sparkled like she was made from jewels and on top of her head was a candelabra, "Use Flame Charge!" [break][break]
It was normally a pretty decent move for Harrow to use but whatever these crystals were, she seemed more souped-up than normal as she sprinted towards the Tinkaton and collided as a flaming mass. Knight let out a low whistle and shared a look with his cousin. Until he started to cough, almost falling to one knee. Whenever these weird, toxic chained Pokémon appeared, he always felt sick.[break][break]
He fought the sensation and kept an eye out for another Tinkaton to fight.

Knight remembered that touching Sylv's little ribbons was a no-go so he behaved (again) and kept his hands to himself but he was happy to see Loot Guard and their 'mons, "Sup gang, have you been working hard like always?" He didn't doubt that for a second.[break][break]
"I don't mind helping! If there's something I can do and yeah, this is Moiraine. I caught her not too long ago and thought we could have a bonding day and then--" He gestured at the nest and knew Loot Guard would know the rest. Still, Moiraine seemed a lot happier now Loot Guard was here. Huh. [break][break]
