Roze had smiled as Navy seemed to be fine with her desire to let the Gyarados free, it hadn't exactly been malevolent, more likely than not, the sea serpent's ire had likely been drawn from panic as its home began to shift, she didn't quite feel right forcing it to relocate beyond whatever aftermath may befall the Sea Mauville.[break][break]

Following Navy's pace, she'd sent out another pokémon, a gentle howl echoing throughout the area as her snow white Ninetales had stepped forward atop the icy platform, one of her newer meets, Roze admittedly hadn't quite trained to a sense of familiarity with her quite yet, simply opting for a vocal request rather than one of her trained whistle responses, "A quick Freeze-Dry if you could, Apricity!" she'd called out with a confident tone.[break][break]

With a simple nod, her Ninetales had brushed her many tails along the ice, sweeping them simply before gently exhaling a wave of pure cold that instantly froze the water along its path in its very shape, almost startlingly quick as it reached the Gyarados, as it had reached, Roze had whistled once more, this time, a command for her Dragalge; a billowing cloud of blackened smoke had engulfed the giant sea serpent as soon as the icy exhalation had reached it, impairing vision in an attempt to persuade the rageful pokémon to flee.

Whilst Eris dealt with the sick Pokémon, with the assistance of her own Comfey alongside Lei and Allende doing their best to help, applying further healing or running about the ship fetching anything the young girl might need for her, the flower-adorned conservationist had inspected the hull-side section of the atoll further, even at some point going so far as to sit over and stick her face into the waters themselves—surely an odd sight if Eris were to notice—such that she could get a better view of what was beneath the waves without refraction addling her viewpoint.[break][break]

Whilst it had stung her eyes a decent bit, and she'd certainly gotten herself inevitably a little drenched in the process, as she'd used her one free hand to wipe off excess sea water off her face—it was almost refreshing if she weren't somewhat cold now, she'd had a decent idea of where the hull started and ended, quickly sending out her Quaquaval.[break][break]

"Sunshower, if I could just burrow a spot of your time..." she'd explained to the dancer pokémon what she'd needed, effectively a section cut to free the hull from the complex, "Miss Eris?" she'd shouted from across the atoll over the shimmering waves, "I might need the assistance of your Dhelmise soon," Roze had requested, "I'm going to have Sunshower here make some incisions, we might need to keep it in place if things go wrong, it's a little drastic, but better than doing nothing at the moment," she'd further explained, while it might take a couple days to fully ensure the process was safe, it'd at least give Roze the time to fetch her own Dhelmise to tag in after the initial step, and to further inspect once the cut is made to decide whether any further artificial reinforcing might be required to keep this little lagoon safe.[break][break]

"When you're able," she'd said further, she'd noticed that Eris had been busy with the Chinchou and Lanturn, and while the sinking complex was a danger, it wasn't an immediate one for now, the two would have enough time. Nonetheless Roze and her Quaquaval had been ready to cut free the hull from the rest of the complex with a series of Aqua Cutters.—merely an outer shell designed to lessen the impact of rougher waves against the actual walls of the complex and plenty safe to cut off with the atoll itself acting as an extra external barrier.

The flower-adorned young woman had chuckled as Hideo explained the doting nature of his pokémon, "it's nice that you have such a close bond with your pokémon," she'd commented, "mine help me out just as much as best as they can," she'd added, looking back to her Clefairy leading the way for the other wild pokémon in a lackadaisy marching formation.[break][break]

It'd felt like some sort of reverse Noah's Ark, with just how many pokémon were following the Clefairy, yet before much longer, as they'd found themselves in more familiar territory, towards the warmth of sunlight, there'd been a sense of relief in the young woman.[break][break]

"Now that they're out from the depths... the hard part's getting them properly off the complex," Roze had laughed, there were transports, but it might take a little longer for them to let these wild pokémon free into a safer home with the unexpected larger count.

Roze hadn't quite noticed the reason for the Iron Valiant's enamour, simply caught up in the moment making sure she wouldn't be an anchor to drag down Navy nor his pokémon. While she herself hadn't been much of a fighter nor battler, the conservationist did her best to keep her eye out to try and make sure they wouldn't be caught off guard.[break][break]

As the Gyarados flailed about in rage, the sea serpent's tail would lash out—less so an attack so much the beast's blind anger, yet nonetheless a danger to their makeshift platform—a quick whistle from Roze had been returned with a Hydro Pump from below the waters, pushing the platform to the side while holding the Gyarados back, even without dealing much damage considering the types.[break][break]

"We ought to make sure we're not in its way when it flees," Roze had added, her reasoning pushing that allowing a path of escape would help ensure the sea serpent wouldn't stress and panic further when cornered.

"A castle would be quite an apt comparison, actually," Roze had said with a smile, the water within the atoll had been fairly clear, though grew darker as one approached depths, yet it remained clear enough that the two would be able to spot some sort of movement if they looked close enough on occasion below the shimmering tides.[break][break]

Roze had smiled, it seemed Eris would be able to handle the pokémon plenty, leaving her Comfey and Clefairy with the young trainer alongside the medical supplies as she'd hopped back off the boat onto the reef island that surrounded most of the little lagoon, "do be careful not to get hurt, Miss Eris, Lei and Allende'll help as best as they can, I'm sure, so feel free to rely on them," she'd called out with a chipper smile, "I'll just be inspecting the area a little further."[break][break]

Roze had wandered to the otherside of the lagoon, the side that had been saddled close to the artificial complex, grown along it and thus become dependent on it for structure. Given the small size of the atoll, she wouldn't be wandering that far, in any case.[break][break]

"... we might ought to cut a segment of it free from the rest of the complex in case it really does sink..." she'd thought aloud.

Yet another curious pokémon that Roze had never seen before, her eyes had looked over the Iron Valiant, she'd leaned closer, her finger over her lower lip, like a cat full of curiosity at a newfound wonder, she'd barely even blinked. She'd muttered to herself slightly, the creature's appearance reminiscent of a Gardevoir and Gallade, yet still odd and distant, the pokémon's—it was a pokémon, right?—metallic frame making it all the more curious to look at, the conservationist in all her joyous love for pokémon had been muttering to herself whatever mental observations she had, the first time she'd gotten to look at an uniquely rare pokémon she'd never encountered up close.[break][break]

She'd almost been a little too distracted, nearly forgetting their mission and current peril, before an errant wave had nearly caused her to stumble from the rise of the Gyarados to the surface, her one free hand used to keep her stable as the flower-adorned woman crouched down, "apologies," she'd said awkwardly with a cheery laugh despite their danger.[break][break]

She'd been so entranced with the appearance of a new pokémon that she'd even failed to notice Navy's summoning, fully assuming it to simply be a power of the pokémon itself.[break][break]

As the giant sea serpent had breached the water, bearing down on the two trainers with a beam attack, the Gyarados had failed to notice Roze's Dragalge who had hidden himself amongst the kelp and stone, at the culmination of the Gyarados' Hyper Beam, the blue serpent had been suddenly blindsided by a deluge of toxic sludge, the Sludge Bomb knocking its attack off course and barely missing the trainers aboard their frozen skiff.

With her Talonflame managing to quickly lead the two, Roze had returned him to his ball, nodding to Navy as she'd sent out her Dragalge alongside Hattori, though at the mention of a weapon, she'd found herself surprised, "I usually don't like fighting pokémon, even battles were a bit rarer for me until recently," she'd answered, she was very reliant on her pokémon for most things, and otherwise preferred more peaceful methods with a gentler approach.[break][break]

Nonetheless, with a quiet whistle, her Dragalge utilising his Camouflage to hide away and carefully make his approach towards the Gyarados, setting up an ambush.[break][break]

She'd understood Navy's point, a rampaging Gyarados was the last thing they needed, and tiring it out was their only real option with just how blinding their burning rage was. The movements of the sea serpent were enough to create choppy enough waves that even aboard the frozen float, the rocking movement made their approach all the more arduous, errant bursts of flame and energy being blasted about the area.

Roze had nodded as Hideo had explained his plight, seeing that he was plenty self sufficient to keep himself safe, "it's good to hear you can manage though," she'd shortly been interrupted by the sudden outburst of her Clefairy breaking down a door, and Hideo and his Oranguru's quick thinking to catch and subdue the wild Shuppet, with the added boon of a guide in the dark.[break][break]

"Seems most likely that it was just afraid," she'd noted, she'd smiled as it seemed Hideo's hunch was right.[break][break]

A short whistle from her had alerted her Clefairy, the little pixie letting out a soft cry as if to reply with a 'I'll be there soon', the Clefairy had tried calling out to the wild pokémon, conversing and trying to appease and explain to them that she, her trainer and her friend were there to help. While nervous, it seemed the pokémon were willing to notice.[break][break]

From Roze's perspective, her Clefairy had come out of the doorway, followed shortly by a set of pokémon that seemed to come out like an almost tidal wave, "... oh, that's quite a few more than I expected to find," Roze had chuckled nervously.

She'd returned her Dugtrio to his ball, and had let out a Clefairy and Comfey with a soft smile, having happily readied the first pair she'd thought of able to help set up a temporary clinic on the boat, "I do have a Dhelmise of my own, but I hadn't quite thought to bring them," Roze had noted, she'd been a little focused however, still intent to listen for Eris, yet she'd been scrounging about the boat, hoping to find her first aid kit and a handful of potions, it hadn't taken long for the conservationist to find exactly what she was looking for.[break][break]

She'd been ready and waiting, "we ought to avoid being too loud so we don't scare the wild pokémon trying to treat them," she'd added further in a whispered tone.

Roze smiled, offering up the 20 that Navy had mentioned, though she'd remained hesitant, it seemed far too little for the amount of tableware she was receiving. Though perhaps offering further would only complicate things more, and thus the conservationist decided to put a cap on these thoughts, awkwardly tucking away her little wallet, and very much preoccupied by trying to receive and balance the new tableware in her one arm that still functioned that she hadn't noticed the Greninja sleight of hands her money back to her, not that she likely would have noticed it even without being preoccupied.[break][break]

She'd chuckled as it seemed Navy had things to do, giving the man a gentle smile in place of a wave good bye she could no longer give, "I'll be looking forward to the chance to work with you, Navy," she'd called out. As the two parted ways, Roze had began making her way back home, a slightly longer trek this time around trying to avoid breaking the tableware she'd so graciously received.[break][break]

Eventually making it back home, the conservationist would warm her toast up, enjoying it with a nice drizzle of honey, as her day would go by slowly, her gaze would go back to her packed goods. With a sigh, she'd put her plates in the sink after enjoying her meal, before finally deciding that these boxes couldn't stay here forever.[break][break]

The first thing that had greeted Roze as she'd finally cut open the cardboard box had caused her to drop her knife, and cover her face despite no one being present, groaning in a rather mortified tone.[break][break]
