Airi deep azure eyes sparkles with admiration as she watches Silvi's powerful knight take dominance over the battlefield. The Ceruledge's blade like arms and its ability to use scorching flames to take out its opponent in a flawless battle. "Impressive. I can't even remember the last time I've seen you in combat, Silv. It is good to know that you and your Pokémon have not loss your touch," she smiles at her close friend. She then watches as he tosses a Poke Ball at the Dark/Ground-type Pokémon. "Oh, yeah. About that little mix up a few minutes ago... The sand was playing tricks with my eyes," she giggles, shaking her head at her own mix up earlier.

Airi would have sent out a Pokémon on her own to support Silvi's Pokémon, but it appeared that the Hitomlee decided to coward away after Ceruledge was able to block his powerful kick. It was best for it to flee or else her Gardevoir would have finished it off with one move. Perhaps, the two of them will be able to fight along each other at a later time.

"You are off to a good start," Airi pointed out, watching the Poke Ball come to a halt, confirming that Siliv had managed to capture the menacing sand croc. "I actually think that it will compliment your current team quite well, too." She adds, giving him another warm smile. "Shall we keep going?" She asks him, waiting a few seconds for his response.

Ground/Dragon/Fighting

For the last couple of weeks, Airi has been spending a lot of time roaming around different cities and towns in search of new Pokémon to join her team. As of a lately, a lot has been taking place in the Hoenn Region and the young Ranger Nurse wished for nothing more than to be able to protect herself and those who she cares about and love dearly. The best way to do that is to build up an army that will allow her to defend against the biggest obstacles she may encounter along the way. Ideally, she would have preferred to explore Meteor Falls with one of her friends, but every single one of them have other plans, which meant that she is "forced" to hang out with Kokou again. The annoying brat, who cannot seem to stay away from her.

Airi had took it upon herself to explore Meteor Falls for herself for a few minutes, just to ensure that it would not be too difficult for Kokou to maneuver through since the terrain can be a challenge to most, who are not used to exploring certain areas. She did not find anything to be too challenging just yet. However, she did not manage to get too far before receiving a text message from Kokou, alerting her of his arrival. She glanced over at her Glaceon, giving him a quick head nod as the two of them made their way back towards the entrance of the cave.

"Kouko, it took you long enough to get here," she teased him, then shifted her attention towards Hikari. "It's good to see you again, Hikari. I do hope that Kouko has been treating you well," she directed towards the beautiful Psychic/Fairy-type Pokémon. "I did a quick scope of the scene. It shouldn't be too hard for you to keep up," she told Kokou. "Alright, let's go!" Without waiting any longer, Airi and her Glaceon lead the way inside of the massive cave.

NOTES/COMMENTS: this is my first attempt at an event, be gentle. <3

Airi shook her head and laughed at Silvi's remark. "Gotta love that sense of humor," she giggles a little bit more, then flashes him a softer smile. At least he does not seem to be too upset about the two of them taking the wrong turn. "Yes! If I remember correctly, we should see a lot of fighting, dragon, and ground-types roaming around this area," she tells him. She then places her index finger underneath her chin for a few seconds as she takes a moment to think about her previous words. Or is it steel, ground, and fire-types? She thought to herself.

Her thoughts were soon interrupted by the sound of war cries in the background. The Ranger Nurse quickly shifted her body around in the direction of the loud noise echoing not too far away from them. In the near distance, her deep blue eyes would take notice of two Pokémon engaging in a hands-to-hands showdown. Was it an actual battle or were the two of them simply helping each other train? The Pokémon soon took notice the of the Rangers approaching them and immediately stopped their little dual long enough to observe them for a few seconds.

"See... Fighting-type and Ground type, I told ya!" She grinned, rubbing the back of her neck as she glanced over at Silvi then back over the fighting-types, keeping a watchful eye on them.

Ground/Dragon/Fighting

It is quite seldom that Airi gives herself a self-care day away from her job. She loves and enjoys being a Ranger Nurse almost more than anything. However, she would be lying if she told herself that her occupational is not too taxing on her body. Therefore, she decided that it would be better for her to take some time away from the station for a bit to prevent herself from reaching passion fatigue. Believe or not, she has even managed to drag her dear friend and fellow Ranger, Silvie, along with her. The two of them put their heads together for a moment before coming to agreement that the two of them will spend some time at the Lavaridge Town's hot springs and spa. Unfortunately, there just seems to be one more problem. The two of them were so caught up in conversing with each other after not being each other for quite some time that the duo ended up missing the exit that would lead them directly to Lavaridge Town. To make matters even worst for them, it took them awhile to realized it.

"Darn it! I knew that we should have made it to Lavaridge Town by now! I can't believe it. We missed our exit! Ugh, we can't let anyone else back at the station find out how about this," Airi giggled, shaking her head then covering her face with one of her dainty hands in disbelief. Two seasoned Rangers managed to miss their mark. How embarrassing, right? "No worries! Fallabor Town isn't too far from Lavaridge Town. We will be there in two shakes of a Skitty's tail!" Airi told Silvie, flashing him with a cheerful smile.

"Besides, we might see how rare Pokémon roaming around here, too. We aren't that far from Meteor Falls, either." She pointed out to the cave in the far distance. Her voice still oozing with optimism and excitement.

The stunning, shimmering light quickly catches Airi's attention, causing her piercing azure eyes to shift towards its direction. Her deep azure eyes widening slightly in admiration as she watches the Gardevoir reveal herself to them. So elegant and so serene! At least, those were the words that she would have used to describe the Gardevoir before Kokou made a bold action and tossed a Poke Ball at the fully evolved Pokémon without attempting to befriend it nor weakened it with one of his Pokémon first. Airi sighs and shakes her head at his eagerness to capture a Pokémon without trying any other methods before simply tossing an orb at it. She is not too surprised that the Fairy/Psychic-type Pokémon responded back to Kokou in such an aggressive manner. "Kokou... I really to give you the benefit of a doubt. But I cannot ignore what you just did... In what world can someone just toss a Poke Ball at a fully evolved Pokémon without either befriending it or weaking it with a battle?" she asks, shaking her head then giggles at beautiful Pokémon making use of her psychic powers to punish him.

The Gardevoir's intelligence and her battle prowess impresses Airi quite a bit. In fact, this one reminds her of her own Gardevoir, Latte. Airi watches as Fu makes its appearance on the "battlefield", wasting no time using his signature move to put the Gardevoir in her place long enough for Kokou to toss a Poke Ball at her. Perhaps this time, he will be more successful. Or so, she hopes that it is the case or else the Gardevoir just may rip Fu and Kouko a new one.

"Yeah, working at a place like that..." She shakes her head, not even believing his words for one minute. She does not know what it is that he does, but the more she thinks about it the more she believes that she does not even wish to know about it.

Kokou Inudai

Airi inhales and exhales the crisp air flowing throughout the route. She closes her deep azure eyes and takes a few moments to enjoy the warm, golden sun gently kissing around her body and the gentle breeze whipping around her body. The outskirts of Littleroot Town are slowly starting to become one of her favorite routes to explore due to the cute, but powerful creatures that calls this place home. It was just a couple of days ago that she rescued a Jigglypuff and nursed him back to good health. Today, she hopes to add even more Pokémon to her team. However, this time she will not be exploring the route on her own. She had extended an invitation out to Kokou, not that he is her favorite individual or anything along those lines. If anything, she seems Kokou as a troubled teen, who needs a little bit of guidance sprinkled with a little bit of love her and there. Of course, she does not know too much about him after than spending a few minutes with him saving the Swellow for making one of the worst mistakes of its life. She noticed that he seems extremely stubborn, and he shows little interest in taking orders from others or abiding by specific rules presented to him. Still, leave it up to Airi to believe that she has what it takes to get Kokou to open up to her, then eventually encouraged him to make some more positive a decision.

As Airi hears familiar voice echoing through her keen ears, she slowly opens her eyes and focuses them on the young trainer making his way towards her. "Long time no see, Kokou. I do hope that you are fully alert this morning and eager to catch some new Pokémon," she greets him with a bright, alluring smile. Her deep ocean blue eyes connecting with his darker orbs for a few seconds as she makes an attempt to read his facial expressions and body language. He seems to be quite upbeat and lively today. A little too upbeat and lively, if she says so herself. Airi raises an eyebrow at him. "Well, Kokou this is a little bit different. I can't say that I've seen you so... Chipper?" She giggles, slightly trying her head to the side for a few seconds. What is really going on with him today? She wonders to herself, but depends not to bring too much attention to his behavior at this point.

"So, what have you been up to since the last time the two of us teamed up to save a Swellow?" She questioned, raising her eyebrow in a curious manner as she waited for him to dish out any life updates that has been going on in his life since their last encounter.

Airi smiled and nodded her head as she watched Kokou order his Pokémon to release his hold on the Swellow. "There you go, you are free to fly off to find yourself a new home," Airi explained to the Wild Flying-type Pokémon, still using her soft and gentle voice with it. She watched the majestic bird spread its wings before taking flight high in the air in search of a new home. "Take care and be safe!" She called out to it. Her deep azure eyes watching the Swellow until it vanishes out of her sight.

Airi's smile did not last too much longer thanks to Kokou and his annoyance presence. She frowned and shook her head at him in disapproval. "You are more than welcome to believe in what you want to believe, but I am quite sure that your iron fist or whatever you would like to call it did not make this happen alone. Pokémon have hearts and souls, too even if they do not speak nor understand our language. You should learn to be more kind to them," she expressed to him in a calm tone despite her frustrations with him.

She watched him walk away from her and continue on his path. She shook her head and folded her arms underneath her chest. "Uh, yeah! Don't whole your breath kid!" She yelled out at him. She then turned her attention towards her Mudkip and Dragonair. "Nice work. Let's go take a break," she smiled at them, returning them back inside of their Poke Ball before making her way back towards the city.

Kokou Inudai

As Airi continues to walk along the scenic route, she soon hears a rustle in a nearby bush followed by a hoarse voice. Curious, Airi carefully eases her way over towards the bush. Her deep azure eyes widening just a bit as she took in the sight of an injured Jigglypuff. "Oh, my you poor thing!" She speaks out in a gentle tone. Airi slowly approaches the Jigglypuff, kneeling down on one knee to get a better view of it. It did not take her long to notice the purplish hue around her cheeks. "Not only are you injured, but you're also poison, too." She says in a calm tone. She gently rubs the Jigglypuff's head attempting to soothe it. The Jigglypuff tried his best to use his voice. "It's okay. You should rest your voice. I have an idea. How about you come with me, and I'll make some delicious tea out of Pecha Berry? It will heal the poison and help your voice recover, too." She suggests to the Jigglypuff. The small fairy-type nods his head in agreement. Airi then takes out a Poke Ball and taps it against the Jigglypuff's head.

Catching Jigglypuff!

Airi finds herself approaching a beautiful field of dark red and light pink flowers. A soft smile hugging the corners of her lips as she watches a swarm of Cutiefly dancing gracefully and beautifully above the flowers. "Beautiful. Elegant." She smiles a bit more as she continues to enjoy their unique "dancing". Perhaps, it is a mating ritual? Either way it is best not to disturb them.
