Tropius hovered two stories above the water, giving Clover the perfect opportunity to look down at the ocean and assess the fish frenzy going on underneath. It had been a few hours of antagonizing the water pokemon below with Tropius' leaf storm on any fish brave enough to pop out and with Oricorio's hurricane to stir up the surface. [break][break]

Two fishing boats had entered the peripheral only to be pushed away by her ministrations. It was clear to see that even sharpedo had come to the surface and begun some in-fighting with the swarm of alolomola. Clover hoped to summon the Sea Sister with the upset pokemon, but the scale would have to get larger for it to register on the radar of a deity, she was sure. But what else to do...?

Clover pulled her binoculars down and offered them to Sage in case they were interested in taking a closer look to verify. "The pirates have walked off the dock to get some supplies, I think." Their boat was temporarily abandoned. They had an opportunity to run aboard and pillage their stolen goods. She felt good about stealing from thieves, though theft itself had become a little more fun for them than they'd initially suspected. She wasn't sure what that said about her. [break][break]

"Should we approach from the sea or walk across the logs to get to the boat?" They risked being seen either way, but the logs was more exposed. It was, however, a faster trip to the boat.

Things were often quiet at home. Community members enjoyed rural elements of living along with crafting and storytelling. It was laidback and peaceful despite the growing conflict. So, he felt compelled to act when the day broke into chaos and her neighbor's mareep flock got loose.[break][break]

She ran out of Fallarbor to catch them, eventually sending out Tropius to carry her over to the flock as they had outrun even her. "Get ahead of them and block the path," she instructed. Tropius flew faster to cut them off on the dirt road. Clover threw himself off of Tropius and tried to strategize. There were dozens of them and only one of him...

She rubbed at her temple as the twin troublemakers continued to pull flowers out from the meadow. It was supposed to be a pleasant walk for the three of them, but the little rugrats were destroying the pansies the framed the dirt path. "Okay, okay, maybe give the flora a break, eh?" But the kids squealed with delight and started to toss the broken flower heads at each other. Yep. That's less than ideal.[break][break]

Was a little pocket change worth it? OK, a lot of pocket change. These kids had loaded parents. And Clover really needed some cash to afford better equipment for dangerous expeditions. But he wasn't the best at wrangling kids together, it seemed. The ones back home in the community were far better behaved, but they were also much more collected as a community than these Hoennites. Clover had given up on doing this job solo, though. He just had to wait for his friend to get here and help hold down the fort.

Clover shook the water from his hair as he stepped out from the ocean water. His wetsuit discouraged his scatterbug from coming up and greeting him closely, as it didn't care much for water, but archen had no issue and came to rest his shoulder easily. "Thanks for waiting," Clover said warmly to his team who had watched his body surfing from the shore. [break][break]

They stretched their arms out as they made it past a few sandcastles to wear Fenelle stood. "Hey, how's it going? I appreciate you coming out to walk the beach with me." Apparently, it was important for them to keep an eye on any ocean fronts to see if there were any League developments for seafront defenses. He offered dem a smile. "I didn't see anything way out there, but we can keep an eye out from the sand." He also wanted to see if there were any pokemon about that would catch his eye. He hadn't grown his team in quite a while, and he felt a new addition could liven things up.
