Katharina would honestly appreciate if things were in slow motion. But actually, everything happen at normal speed suits her better, probably, as she gives Noah another last pull so he wouldn't fall into the water, before letting go and grabbing the nest that is honestly bigger than she anticipated - she really needs to work on her intercept theorem. (But to be fair, she didn't have a third point.)

With a face full of nest material, she feels her footing becoming unstable as she tilts backwards in classic fashion, about to create another hole in the structure that's her size and filled out by the nest (partially at least, depending on where her legs land). But gladly, that's a disaster for another day as Froschl leaps behind her back, supporting her as if they were simply doing a weird yoga exercise called full body arch bridge by the frog pond.

Judging from the noises of the Pelipper and Wingull, however, she can confirm while moving the nest and herself into better positions, "Yep, that's one happy nest now. They recovered pretty quickly from that whole shebang, which is a relief and only a little bit concerning. We should get them to the nearest infirmary station and check over them there, too."

Given by a mood swing, Katharina decides to stop whining and focus up for one attempt - one attempt and then she can decide if she wants to quit or not. The Mantine seems to feel her resolve and also is extra careful to brave the wave to the best of its abilities!

"Likewise!" Katharina returns at Ollie's compliment, seeing how the Corphish swiftly were turned into blocks of ice. Froschl entertains the idea of playing around with them briefly, but Katharina already recalled him before he could actually think of any shenanigans shortly before they'd successfully rescue the Duckletts from here.

Katharina's expression remains serious as Ollie's face turns from perplexed to laughing, before they also crack a smile. "I'm very serious here, okay?" they insist, before staring slightly as Ollie mounts the huge pokémon effortlessly. They would need more help getting on, and then take another critical moment to examine the Ducklett positioning as well as their gut feeling about this all. "Alright, we're ready to go! Time to get these Duckletts treated."

"And that's all anyone's ever asked for," Katharina says with the wisdom of an ancient granny and a nod to match, before the rescue of the Duckletts' suddenly interrupted by a group of aggressive Corphish! Froschl the Teddiursa is quick to act, engaging the Corphish in Play Rough swiftly, but not quick enough to fully avoid one of the stray Duckletts to be hit. Indignant, he doubles down on Play Rough to continue keeping the Corphish at bay while the Blissey provides additional protection and aid.

"Oh honey," Katharina sighs with exasperation as she quickly lunges forward to fish the Ducklett out of the water, carefully holding it and nodding at Ollie's words. "You heard the boss, let's get a move on! No time to waste, here, hop ..." She places the attacked Ducklett in one arm while using the other to scoop up stray ones, placing them on the Dragonite and also partially adding some onto Ollie or herself without thinking.

"I think that should be everyone?" she ponders, carefully touching the ones on her head for a literal headcount, before glancing back at Ollie. "You think a crown of Ducklett could be a new fashion trend?"

38. Manage and guide hordes of pokemon to safety.

Katharina regards Mitsuru's stain briefly still after the other's reassurance that it'll be fine, and takes out a clean handkerchief (of which the nurse posseses many). "Take this, in case it gets to uncomfortable places," she insists, pushing away the memories of fooling around with some chemistry materials a bit too much a couple of years ago ... even if this greenness could also just be algae.

She then finally is ready to let the topic rest, having satisfied her caretaker-whether-you-or-i-want-it-or-not needs enough. "Perfect!" she smiles, relieved about not having to carry all those beams by herself, and then nods at Froschl beside her. "Alright, buddy, us three also got to work ... We gotta get that area cleaned up and also ..."

She squints, staring at the barely standing structure in front of her. "My speciality is putting up tents, frankly," she murmurs, grabbing one beam that's already here and nodding at Mitsuru. "Think best bet might be to just jam that bad boy in there and hope it won't crack in the meanwhile?" she suggests, looking at the other to see if she might have better ideas, too.

37. Perform emergency repairs on infrastructure or equipment.

"I don't think this'll really stick with me," Katharina contemplates just as they started heading towards a new wave. The Mantine seems to sound a bit disappointed, and Kat quickly kneels down to pat it. "Not on you, buddy- woAH!" Hopefully that doesn't backfire-

Katharina ponders with squinted eyes for another moment, "Hmm..."ing until Ollie goes and introduces himself. With an expression of extreme enlightment, she says, "Ollie! Yes! The head ranger!" Oh the head ranger- wait what? She barely ever interacted with heads of any big organisation before, and finds herself at a slight loss for words. Gladly, Ollie makes a rather approachable impression, so she decides to ditch formalities because it's easier that way. "Think the reporters spoke in flying colours of you, so, uh, good job!"

She would continue the smalltalk, too, but her brain's pulled towards the Mega Evolution now. "Alright, little beans, let's get you all up there ... don't be shy, that's a nice dragon, I promise!" she tries to encourage the Duckletts to board, but she doesn't see what the little ones see until a battle cry rallies the Corphish and lets them charge forward.

Alarmed, Kat calls for her Froggiursa (see Teddiursa), "Froschl! Play rough- get those back into the water!"

27. Handle encounters with hostile individuals or pokemon.

Without even blinking, Katharina has identified the nearest living wood, even if it's just branches of a bush nearby, and knocks on it with a way too serious face, der fists firmly shut with der thumbs pressed down by the other fingers. "Hals- und Beinbruch!" she wishes in addition, the equivalent of Break a leg! that she has learned.

There is truly no kidding around with calling onto some good luck spirits. They're always there, but harder to get than an obscure elements that barely lives a nanosecond sometimes.

With bated breaths and encaged thumbs, Katharina looks as the Grapploct forms a bridge, stabilising the collapsing structure. Still, everything is truly one bad breeze away from falling apart, and she carefully approaches at Noah's call, looking at Froschl, "You'll keep pressing the thumbs, got it?" In sync, the duo opens and closes hands, so that Katharina could actually try and help.

"Got'cha!" But, Noah is heavier than she could comfortably pull, and she sees herself tilting slightly already- She tries to put in some last ditch effort in, too, hoping that hey, maybe that one day indulging in various cakes would pay off in this moment-?!

The Duckletts notice the commotion first, scurrying closer to Katharina as something comes their way. Katharina himself squints at the sky, unsure if this is backup or reason to really worry, until a friendly figure appears atop the Dragonite and he breathes a breath of relief.

"Hey! Yeah, we're still alright, just. Very stuck." Katharina points at the Duckletts, all a level of injured. "Could you help me get them to an infirmary station? I ... lost my kit when the bridging caved in." Now, she points at a point behind the Dragonite, where the beginning of the bridging is still visible. "I'm Katharina, by the way."

Ponder. Think. "I saw your face in the news." ... but in which context?

Katharina nods at the introduction, and chuckles slightly as the Varoom's been introduced as, well, Varoom. "Nice to meet you two!" he grins, offering a hand to shake and can't help but stare slightly at the green damp spot on Mitsuru's overall. "Do you want to do something about that, by the way, or-? Wouldn't want it to spread," Katharina adds, before regarding the Varoom with a thoughtful look again.

"Do you think Varoom could carefully transport some construction materials here? So we can reinforce the structures here better till it well. All goes down under," Katharina adds, staring at the sinking colossus. What a tragedy and what an idea to have such a thing in the first place. But, they can't really talk, given how their coven and family back at home were - most of the time, there's no task too daring not to attempt it (unless it's tooo big of a bomb).

36. Organize and manage logistics of the operation.

Katharina blinks a couple of times, using the time in which Chrysanthe calls for another pokémon to focus on herself and staying awake enough to figure something out. "Hmm, let's see ... we got these branches here that look very sturdy ... and we have some rope here which is always handy ... there's fisher nets ... if you could gather some dry leaves and all, we could cover the net with it ... and tada ..."

It's by sheer reflex and baked-in knowledge of how to build up tents by heart that she manages to follow through the steps almost flawlessly. They may have the best pokémon to assist them, but that never means that their kind of physicist doesn't blow up stuff every once in a while, forcing parts of the coven to sleep outside in tents for a while until it's fixed.
