[attr="class","mthread"][attr="class","rocket"]it's not as bad, at least, when the pokemon are already stolen. marcel waits nearby, surveying the area, as rocket grunts load up the back of their van. he watches their stock as it goes in: pokemon in cages, pokemon in pokeballs, and pokemon that had simply been broken into utter obedience. eventually, it gets uncomfortable, and marcel decides to branch out a little further.

a guy had come to him earlier telling him the rangers had been alerted--not about them, but the original owner of the building. marcel thinks back to the man currently tied up in his basement and makes a note to send someone to check on him later. he'd be a good scapegoat, after all.

"kosuke." he hadn't quite yet caught on to priam's intention with bringing them all here--other than to complete the challenge. he enters the next room as quickly as they'd completed the challenge in the last.

bringing out another pokeball, marcel gives a little tsk at priam's comment. "we're not that old, you know." when lucas answers, he tacks on a "same." for politeness' sake.

he watches the spoink leap into the air before he gives a slight nod in its direction. "thunder." his electivire steadily aims with its arm before shooting out a ruthless bolt of THUNDER. perhaps a bit too vicious for his liking. he gives his pokemon a pat on the shoulder anyway, it had done its job after all.

[attr="class","mthread"][attr="class","rocket"]marcel, though by no means pleased, is not entirely surprised to find dominic present in their little entourage. lucas lane, however, is a different matter altogether. priam would undoubtedly remain oblivious to any questioning looks sent his way, and so he saves himself the effort. dominic manages to bring out a brief sigh of a laugh, though he soon walks off in favour of preparing for the first challenge.

there are reminders of his own home in petalburg in the decor, he notes as the rotomi dispenses his chosen pokemon. marcel takes the pokeball and releases his typhlosion. FLASH FIRE renders the rapidash's attack useless--he has a feeling everyone else is going for a similar strategy.
