"...huh." Did that tree just...blink? He knew Sudowoodo liked to mimic trees out in the wild but this one was way too big for it to be one. Plus it had berries growing on it so it wasn't a Pokemon. Even still he was sure that he saw a pair of eyes on it. Inching closer Kazimir was ready to reach out and touch where he though he saw eyes when a pink tongue suddenly erupted from the bark and licked his face. There was hardly a beat before he threw out a pokeball towards the tongue's point of origin as a reflex with a scream.

How long has it been since he was last in one of these things? Or even been up to this neck of Hoenn? Who cares he was ready to go out and try and find some Pokemon after not getting any for so long. Today was going to be one of those treat yourself days that people always insist are once a year but let's face it, its probably closer to once a month if you got a good paycheck. Twirling some bait in one hand and a ball in the ohter Kazimir set off to try and test his luck to see what he could find out there.

"Attention! Requesting service in Ever Grande City! Outbreak of Pokemon spotted and containment needed!"

It felt a bit weird to get an alert like this on his regular phone, a literal call to action, but it was a passing feeling that left as soon as Kazimir felt his legs move on their own and carried him out to the streets of the city. It didn't take long to find that the ones in the outbreak were a bunch of Mankey and Primeape who were terrorizing both people and other Pokemon just making their way up to the city. Kaz let out a sign because he knew there was one easy way to deal with these types of Pokemon, beat them at their own game, but it wasn't going to be a pretty sight and the thought of seeing some new coworkers see his process...well...there was a reason he hadn't joined the rangers until now.

"Hey monkey bois! Why don't you..." Kaz called out to them while he flexed one bicep and stared down at some of the rampaging mon who took notice of him, "fight someone who can give ya a challenge? Ranger Wynter is here to give it too ya!" With that he threw a Pokeball over their heads to let loose his Corviknight who wasted little time in divebombing the crowd of Pokemon with an aerial ace to cut their numbers short. As a Primeape turned to try and get the jump on it Kazimir was one step ahead of him and jumped onto its back trying to wrap an arm around its face to get it into a choke hold.

Although...did Primeapes even have necks?

As Angelo managed to duck out of the way of his Incineroar Kazimir couldn't help but give him a round of small applause. "Quick reflexes, good. Other folks tend to just stand there gawking." If he was one of those this would be pretty boring...and Kaz would probably have to revoke his fugger certificate. No fugger friend of his was going to be on that weak sauce.

From above the rafters where the Incineroar came from came another Pokemon, a familiar one to the large cat that gave the cat a reason to get a big grin on his face as he stared the owl down. Kaz was familiar with the look, it seemed like a possible rival had appeared before them. Good, they were going to need some healthy competition. "So its a tag team then? Hey the more the merrier!"

There was no time wasted as both trainer and pokemon rushed forward at their opposing duo with their muscles tensed and a lust for battle showing strong in their eyes. Tigger's fist was pulled back as a Thunder Fist sparkled to life in his paws as he swung a left hook with it at the Decidueye. Kazimir threw himself almost literally with Angelo jumping up and bringing his legs up to shoot them out into a dropkick right into Angelo's smaller frame. Was he going to try and knock the wind out of him or collapse his chest in?

As the theater is saved and lifted out of the sinkhole it just leaves more room for everyone to fall into the ground as the ground beneath them gives way. Lucky for them it seems like there was something to break their fall, the remains of what looked like a city under the city to be exact. Quick inspection made it seem like it was some sort of industrial ruin by the looks of things but even their age at a glance made it seem like they had been under the earth for way longer than that. Tourism had to close up as the sound of the rampaging dialga above them echoed all around and the world began to shift.

Cities were being rebuilt and Pokemon being formed into the familiar shape of Volcanion, a Pokemon Kaz hadn't seen show up around Hoenn ever since the man made tower incident from back then. In the distance as they slammed into a dimensional wall that kept them from this new world Kaz could see the heart shaped contraption pulsate with energy. Just staring at it made his legs begin to shake and quiver as his mind went into over drive putting two and two together. The words of that Volcanion, the Soul-Heart, that had to be what it was referring too!

The weight of Locke Jamison suddenly pressing against him knocked his train of thought off the rails however and he couldn't help but hold the man with one arm as he looked to the sky and everyone around him, spotting bryan delarosa as he remembered the man had said something to him about helping out. "yeah well you're gonna owe me a favor in a second! Celsteela!" Calling up to the Ultra Beast it took one look into the hole with a smile on its face before lowering one of its large arms into it, bumping into the invisible wall as the Pokkenger got to his feet, carrying Locke Jamison bridal style onto the large arm. "Everyone get on! Elevator's going uuuuuuuuuuuup!"

While it waited for more people to climb on to lift up its arm the roar of time let out by the Dialga triggered a reflex from the Ultra Beast as it raised up its other arm and fired off a few rounds of Seed Bombs towards the chained up temporal beast to stave off an attack, unbeknownst to it it was probably helping save the poor creature.

Well this was going to be a problem and a half.

The region was so out of control that it was no wonder people could be spared to be sent out here to quiet down a bunch of rampaging lizards. Still that's why Kaz knew he had to make up by being as strong as ten Machokes when dealing with one of these things. Cracking his knuckles he threw out a ball and let out his mechanized kaiju of a beast Duraldon out to stare down at the Tyranitars before giving chase. "Guess they ain't alone in being a bad mood." he stated observing the ensuing chaos his pokemon was causing before giving chase after it throwing pokeballs every which way to try and capture a few of them to whittle down the numbers.

"GET BACK HERE VELMOS!" Through the chaos was a suited up man and a large black and white bear chasing after someone with his voice almost drowning out everything around him as he screamed. "VELMOOOOOS" He yelled out as he chased someone through the town as the mental image of a blue-skinned man slowly seared itself into his brain. This visage was what he was tracking through all the fighting going around as it had him abandon his original task for this area, but he would say it was for a good reason. After all the Megalopolans were the cause of one of the worst things to happen to Hoenn, giant meteor aside, so the fact one of them was still around, one that was a commander in that war, wasn't a good sign. "YOU CAN'T ESCAPE ME! I'LL CHASE YOU TO THE ENDS OF THE EAAAAARTH!"

His chase was cut short as the form of Origin Forme Dialga as well as familiar legendaries and ultra beasts appeared in the distance and gave him pause as he tried to discern what was going on now. As the beast let out a roar that ravaged the town around them it caused kaz to turn away and notice the sinking theater he had run past and noticed the sinking form of Locke Jamison going deeper and deeper. Seeing that shifted priorities as he returned his Urshifu to its ball and took out two items as a replacement, a ball and an energy root.

From within the ball came out his Celesteela who towered above the buildings and tilted itself towards kazimir who with a bit of backing up and a rearing of his hand threw the energy root in hand right into the Ultra Beasts mouth. The bitterness didn't seem to bother the Ultra Beast as it raised its damaged arms up like the pain it had gathered with a fight from one of its own kind earlier didn't seem to hurt anymore. With that the Pokkenger jumped into the sinking earth towards Locke Jamison where he wrapped a muscled arm around both him and his smeargle "hold on tight! this is gonna be bumpy!"

Looking back he saw his Celesteela creep forward and outreach with its arms when a familiar Pokemon loomed over head looking down at him almost as if it recognized him. Tapu Bulu. If he was being honest he wasn't sure if it even remembered him from hanging out with Zac Ramsay long ago but it seemed to see that there was trouble. "Bulu! We need your help! Celesteela stop this sink hole!"

The ultra beast lets out a cry as it looks at the sinking building and reaches out to it with its arms starting to spin and sink into the earth on each side of the theater. As it does it the Tapu above it rings its bell as grassy roots and branches find themselves growing out of the Celesteela's arms as it uses Steel Roller to dig into the earth and churn it up as it feels its body power up with grassy energy. While the digging might slow down the sinking earth the building and its trainer were still dangers to one another so using its finely tipped head it did its best to jam its head into the trunk of the tree that was created by bryan delarosa and his Xerneas and use that as a way to prop itself up as its body hit the ground with a loud thud to try and stop the building from sinking more into the ground.

It was a all a risky gamble but what was a little risk when the world was ending?

Another Ultra Beast stood in their way now and was spraying them with toxic ooze. Memories of it melting people and pokemon quickly flooded his mind but left just as quickly once he smelled the sweet aroma Rosmontis was dishing out. The scent at least kept him focused on the battle in front of them and cleared his head a little bit. "Don't count your Torchics before they hatch."

As the toxic was cleared up Kazimir threw out another Pokeball as his Ninetails took in a deep breath and aimed a Fire Blast at the stunned Kartana. Easy prey if it thought paralyzing itself was going to save it from its wrath. From behind the second ball erupted and out came an Urshifu who landed on the ground with a heavy stomp as it eyed its foes, the feelings of anger that came off of Kazimir reflected in its eyes.

"Let's take them down Domon! Show them how we catch victory!" There was hardly a beat between the command and the bear rushing forward with its eyes trained on the Naganadel as it jumped up with its hand out and flat parallel with its body as it brought it down in an Aerial Ace on the dragon's wings.
