"we need to watch you more carefully, seriously." he'd eventually get the pokemon out of its trapped state. massaging the creature, he'd look to his partner and say, "hey, can you hand me the healing ointment in that bag?" a hand outstretched as he'd wait to be given the cream.

the snake slithered and fled. cadis and his gallade were on the move to capture it, "don't let it escape," he calmly ordered. the snake continually used "DIG" to avoid capture. eventually they would come to near a rocky surface where a lot of large boulders seemed to be in the way. it was unforeseeable as to where the sandacobra would emerge. they would have to wait patiently and prepare for battle.

"oh," he'd look back to the individual upon the mission with the pair. "we almost had it, it seems it's more slippery then it seems." that was okay, cadis and gallade were prepared to wait for as long as they needed to. the skin was valuable, and they weren't going to allow the slippery cobra escape their grasp.

covertly rocket, in a small group led by cadis, infiltrated new mauville. a site that's been in the works for sometime occupied by a plethora of steel-type pokemon for security. tonight rocket, under cadis von klaussner and a subordinates rule, would invade this site to snatch some of them up. as they stood at the entrance that led into new mauville. cadis would order the group to scatter, leaving just him and the rocket subordinate that would be acting as his second-in-command. "it's time to show me your training, are you ready?" he'd ask the rocket subordinate.

"i'm fine," a hand was risen to indicate that he was fine. cadis examined the path they were. on a hunt for pokemon, as frederic had been informed. cadis was actually in search of a hermit that was said to liv upon mt. coronet. "i hope your trip to hoenn wasn't troublesome," their brief silence broken.

"are you kiddin' m--" a click of the tongue showed his annoyance, "dangit, alright, we'll do this the hard way!" ordering his gallade to use close combat. the gallade would beat up the meowth and allow for dawn to capture it once more.

"i don't know," turning to face lucas, "eccentric is just another way to say you're weird, hey don't get snippy at me!" dawn shouted with annoyance, "i just heard stuff from others. geez, cait didn't tell me you were so naggy. i liked the you i had in my head better..." cadis pouted, "also i heard you got hit by a car because you didn't look both ways before crossing the street and suffered some sort of brain damage." clearly that wasn't the case.

"what are you..." cadis inquired with curiosity. the pokemon hovered before him in wait of their acceptance. "your color, i've never seen your kind l---" it was then that something odd happen; he was fascinated by the floette. so, with his trustful grin, cadis would extend his hand to greet the floette as he'd welcome it into his ranks. with an delusive expression, he'd say, "welcome to my sanctuary, i hope we can prove to be great friends." this floette held potential value and cadis was going to uncover as to what hidden value was.

how embarrassing, to be subjected to something like this. gallade preferred to be beside his master, not on some runway project like these lower, third rate pokemon. he was embarrassed, it was written all over his face as he tried his best not to show it. it was time to begin the walk, the music began, and, upon taking the lead, gallade was the first to start the walk off.

light as a feather, stiff as a board. he walked with fear but held his head high. in the end he was able to return, albeit it took sometime, but the walk was over for the dual-type. he just wanted to return to his master's side.

he never did get to strike that pose.

outside of his garden alongside gallade and zoroark. the pair would watch as cadis von klaussner began to plant a seed. with the aid of a friendly benefactor, he was given a nice treat due to rocket's recent assistance. he was told to plant these seeds with the promise of something interesting to sprout from his short work. he wondered as to what this mystery surprise was.

within the contest hall of littleroot, it was today that a new contest would begin for the region of hoenn. so far, the contestants were all, in their own way, unique and bedazzling. but once the infamous Bailey Cooper and sir chubs were done, a well-renowned coordinator, predominantly known by their stage name twilight, had been summoned. currently, it was pitch-black. a large screen outside of the contest hall showed what was going on inside for those who missed the allotted entry. to those watching in person or outside, some would recognize the face set to appear.

finally, a spotlight shined from above as one person stood at the center. this person was none other than dawn grandier to some, and to others who truly knew him cadis von klaussner. as of right now he was simply participant, all while dressed within his contest stage garb. in the palm of his left did a pokeball reside within it; that said ball would come to have a ball capsule over it. a sticker that resembled AYAME FUJIWARA's rainbow flower badge was placed atop of the ball capsule.





"bloom, flabebe." with a simple flick of the wrist, the flabebe's ball was thrown toward the crowd. the ball would come to open as chromatically colored petals formed the ring of saturn. the colored petals quickly turned white as their individual colors gathered at the center of their rotation; forming at the center was a body, that body belonging to none other than flabebe!

lights flickered on as the white petals scattered into nothing but simple dust particles. raining over the crowd as flabebe would wave to them all. "aromatherapy," cadis calmly ordered. a scent would come to envelop the stage, the tree, and the people, emanating a soothing feeling from within should they come to catch a whiff of the floral scent. "flabebe is a new partner of mine, and this is their first time partaking in contests. i'm very ecstatic for it to learn so much from the wonderfully talented contestants." a simple head bow, cadis would then exit the stage with flabebe.

"i don't know, yes? i heard you were a bit 'eccentric' even though you're the scientist discovered mega evolution. cait never really told me about your personality, can you blame me for assuming?" rumor spread throughout league that he didn't look both ways before crossing the street. plus, he thought he man had brain damage so he assumed his vocabulary had been reduced to that of an eighteen year old priam conrad. "in all honesty i kinda just assumed you were an egotistical maniac because you're a scientist! plus..." he'd wipe his hand over his mouth to muffle his words so that professor lane wouldn't hear what he said.

"a-anyway, oh, look! another pokemon!" he'd take out a pokeball and toss it toward the meowth that was crossing the road. without warning it was caught by surprise and ensnared by the pokeball. "that's another pokemon for me, h-hehe!"
