This was pure chaos. The heat was intense, more than enough to remind Ruby of the scars up and down her back during the war, from the intense explosions. Lava surged as people fought to protect everyone, pushing back against the waves and giving it everything they got. Ruby gritted her teeth, gripping hard on Togekiss's back. There wasn't time to debate and think, just pure instinct. [break][break]

"Keep the shade up Hideo Kino ! Both of you, aim for the crystal! The sun's just eating everything!" A solar beam that had struck nearby had Ruby rearing from the heat, slipping off of her Togekiss and slamming into the ground. Even as she fell, her Urshifu continued to focus its efforts entirely on defense, attempting to Detect and strike right before her, or the children could be struck. [break][break]

"Cobalt, Meteor Beam! We don't have time for you to play games!" Ruby yelled with an angry tone, climbing back to her feet. However, the disobedient Shadow Metagross quickly flew forwards, thanks to its previous usage of Magnet Rise, attempting to get closer towards the Groudon, its eyes on the prize. [break][break]

It took every fiber of her being not to swear in front of the kids. Not that Andy Blackadder would care, he swore like a sailor.[break][break]

Deciding there was only one thing she could do, Ruby quickly recalled Amor and sent out Grace the Gardevoir. Immediately gripping onto her necklace, the Gardevoir began to twirl as it Mega Evolved, a large black dress flowing from its sides. [break][break]

"Grace!" Ruby yelled over the chaos of everything, gritting her teeth. "Let's make it rain on Groudon's parade!" The Gardevoir would nod, as glowing z-power began to fuel their twirling dance to summon the Z-Move Angelic Showers, attempting to affect as large an area as physically possible.[break][break]

In the distance flying straight towards Groudon, it seemed like the Shadow Metagross still had some ideas of its own. With its eyes locked onto the Red Stone, the black crystals along its body suddenly began to glow with an incredibly bright light. Practically burning the eyes to even look at, before firing the light as a Prismatic Laser directly at the stone, regardless of anything that might be in the way.
