It took all of five minutes to find the first pokemon on this speed blitz of a safari. "Uh-oh." A Stufful gave Sénon pause as he came to an absolute stop signaling Babysaur to engage.

He knew what Bewear could do to a human body within striking distance.

He let Babysaur close the distance.

SLEEP POWDER was doused over the tiny bear and only after a retaliatory FOCUS PALM did the little bear topple over into slumber.

He wanted to grin when his guess was confirmed as correct.

Or rather, he wanted to want to grin.

The synapse to actually do so never fired. Instead his deadpanned expression remained as the lines of his face seem to sharpen as he chose his words carefully.

He only seemed to just be getting to his point and already people were standing preemptive of the dating bell ringing to end this round of dates.

He went to speak but a flash of pain quieted him down for a second. His head hurt but he couldn't go rubbing his temple every time it hurt because he wasn't six years old anymore.

"I really miss Cinnabar Island." He stood up with the others, not offering much more of a hint or context beyond that. "Meet me outside the Gym in Fortree at sundown tomorrow." He touched Laur's shoulder as a silent affirmation they were still in solidarity.

With that he wandered away, seemingly ending his time speed dating. The echoes of his throbbing skull ending his attempt at a return to form.

He certainly didn't want to hear about who Giada had been filling her years gone by with.

"It's not impossible that I might give a lesson." Maybe Cait would be willing to share him with Giada.

He wasn't sure if he wanted those wires crossed.

Luckily he was saved by the bell. "-but for today, I think our time is done." The lingering questions would have to be addressed next episode.

He still to this day theorized Giada had 9 lives, so there would always be a next time.

The incense was barely lit before the first pokémon made it was over, drawn by the scent. "ehh, why not?" The Wynaut looked up at him with confused eyes.

"No, not Wynaut. I said, 'Why not?'." When the baby pokémon tilted its head in further misunderstanding it would as suddenly drop to the ground in slumber, covered in SLEEP POWDER.

Once asleep the Ranger would tag it with a pokéball.

Sénon didn't qualify why he was asking but when he got his own answer, he continued. He closed his eyes as if drawing on memories he hadn't revisited in years. "It's cold there. Largely barren. Nothing but tides, rocks and pokémon that like tides and rocks." It was just like that cave out in Dewford. "It's isolated and remote." -only much harder to get to. He remembered the place being off limits until he had multiple flyers, surfers and divers.

"A perfect frigid retreat from the world if you can handle the endless wild pokémon you'll come across."

He stopped elaborating to count his audience. "Hey Laurs"

Kantoians these days always got a little hot and bothered being reminded of home. "They're listening to this conversation now aren't they." Human and Pokémon.

This means Hoenn turns 'Officially 5' in 18 months, what a milestone to have on the distant horizon slowly rolling closer.

Where would we be without shiv , SPIRAL and all the long time gamers and new blood keeping this place the experience that it is? I like being on Hoenn, and that means something.

I missed Year One featuring the original players but I've been locked in since early Year Two and it's been a great muse and outlet.

Send the CAPTURE PACK to Sénon Game and lets keep building this expanding multiverse together.

He'd recently gotten his Gyarados to FLY, why not a Spoink?

Maybe the head injury triggered something fatherly in him or just as likely, it killed something jovial.

He didn't return Giada's smile with a smile. His frown was telling of his concern, even if he didn't say it directly.

Day-drinking before a speed date during the Palentine's season was a cry for help if he ever saw one. Then again Giada was a big girl now and maybe she could balance her vices and her traumas as well as he could.

"If you want to keep your blade sharp," He rubbed his left temple. "-you can't just retire it." Nothing dulled like time and he had no intentions of losing his sexual edge, commitment or not.
