HAPPY POKEMON DAY! This beloved franchise launched on February 27th, 1996! As it marks its 26th year, Hoenn marks its 3rd! Technically, our anniversary is every September; however, due to site events and busy IRL commitments, I was not able to have something to celebrate it![break][break]

So today, we'd like to celebrate both Pokemon and our roleplay site's birthdays. Thank you so much for the incredible stories we've written together. As we await the Pokemon Presents tomorrow, I can not wait for what the future holds for this franchise and this site![break][break]

PLEASE HEED THE FOLLOWING GUIDELINES.[break][break]

Only ONE OF YOUR CHARACTERS may redeem a pack from above. You do not need to post in the site shop to officialize your redemptions. However, if you are finalizing your custom pokemon or rolling any gachapon from the capture pack, then you must post the details/transaction in the site shop.[break][break]

Please POST IN THIS THREAD detailing which pack you are picking on which character! A nice message is always welcome too.[break][break]

As a note, for CUSTOM POKEMON, you are able to choose any moves that they can learn from Generation 7-8. You may choose any of the abilities they can learn and whether they are shiny or regular colour. Lastly, you can not pick a legendary, mythical, Hisuian pokemon or Unown. Sorry![break][break]

I can't believe it's already been so long! When I first joined in DEC 2019, I never could have imagined that I'd find such a great community of people and friends. Needless to say, the fact that I've hung around so long as a result isn't all too surprising haha!

Hoenn was legitimately a new environment that I'd just found after a rough patch in my life and all I can really say is that it's been a blessing to be here. From getting to meet some many cool peeps to actually writing beautiful threads and sharing art with them, it's really helped me past the lowest of days and I hope this community will stay as wholesome as it is ♡

i joined at the beginning of october 2020 with my first character ( decided to take a much needed, extended holiday after just one month of dealing with hoenn's shit and climbing lighthouse stairs) and i haven't looked back.

when i signed up for hoenn, i was going through an extremely tough period in my life and having a creative outlet as my sanctuary helped a great deal. even though that time has passed, hoenn continues to be a little safe haven for me and has shaped my real life in ways that i never would have seen coming. 

this is the longest time that i have been on a rp site and it's also been my most cherished. i've been able to write things i never have had the chance to explore before. i've laughed, frantically theorized and cried at developments that have been thrown my way and the people here are all fantastic, beautiful writers. ♥

here's hoping we get to enjoy writing with one another for a long time to come.

thank you so much, and for everything. i can't wait for more angelno sightings and year long raids.
