I can't believe I've been here for a year. Time sure flies. When I joined Hoenn, things were rough for me. I'd gotten out of a five-year relationship that ended badly. I was at the lowest point I'd been in a while. Definitely shows when I look at Xander Belmont's app.

No stretch to say that Hoenn helped me through a difficult time. Still is, if I'm being honest.

It's almost been a full year since I've joined and it's been so much fun! I've been forum-hopping since middle school and I can honestly say I've never found a community like Hoenn. Everyone is so welcoming to new players, and between both staff and player events it always feels like there's something going on. It blows me away that it's just shiv and SPIRAL putting in all the mod work, while still keeping up with their own characters' plots! Here's to another year!
