Predictable; SLEEP POWDER put the wild one to sleep and Sénon scooped it up with a premiere ball. Only this time Baby managed to sneak in a few PETAL DANCES and LEAF BLADES.

"Did you just snatch the Kirlia after acting so gracious this whole time?" He latched onto Adrian with a light headlock, a jovial laugh escaped him as he called out Adrian's abrupt securing of the asset up for grabs. ~~The blackmarket was paying 100 PKD a pop for those!~~

"You shifty mutt!" He used his weight to toppled them over, half-assedly, "What was the split Malcolm?" he attempted an arm bar.

He couldn't remember what they agreed upon but if he didn't give Adrian a hard time for being a slick bastard, who would?

It took long enough for someone to notice.

Baby had long since attained the ability to evolve but like most of his peers the biological advancement was denied to him.

Un-tethered to the human conversation he doused repeating tufts of SLEEP POWDER spores into the path of the spinning pokémon making it cover itself before being slept and toppling over.

Crimsen attempted to capture Baltoy!

"You know traded pokémon require a bit more showing of support, to cement the new bond and help them assimilate. Plus, I have a lounge of 'chars' one of them had to evolve and lead the lot." Returning to Adrian Sénon picked up the Bulbasaur by a hind leg, which it showed no resistance to. "I generally suppress evolution in my pokémon, it curbs their realized potential for the moment but it also fuels their discipline and in my opinion, their cunning."

He stared into the eyes of the Bulbasaur "He'll be an Ivy' one day, I'm not holding them back forever, just enjoying my time with them as they are."

A varied change of tactics put SLEEP POWDER into the active field rather than causing a commotion with recoil-based take down tactics.

It was better to play it say in that way given the target.

Sénon had been itching for a Solosis for weeks now, a fully evolved Reuniclus would go a long way to satisfy that itch.

The moment he saw the psychic type its permeable membrane was being sprinkled with sleep spores.

Crimsen attempted to capture Reuniclus!

Adrian's observation put a timestamp on many things including Baby's age and how long it had been since his last pokémon contest. "Yeah same old Babysaur. He's been with me since the fifth week of running the Fiery Path. Which I started doing the week I moved here." He crossed his arms. "I think its been a year now give or take a week."

While Sénon was watching Adrian Babysaur went to work. LEECH SEED and TAKE DOWN and repeat.

Babysaur dragged back a big jellyfish king or something.

A premiere ball tagged it but it was already knocked out, nothing much it could do to shake capture.

He couldn't help but laugh. FERNANDO SILPH was a real piece of work.

He could have practically any human he wanted and he was bumping uglies with his adopted sister of all people. "What is it you think you're going to do about it?" He furrowed his brows, at Cait's worrying herself to death from Stormy choosing punishment over perseverance. "She has to know what kind of person he is, better than most."

Stormy Silph wasn't exactly a pushover. Sénon didn't buy the angle that she was going into this blind. "If he's going to burn her, she probably knows it. She probably wants to burn."

Yeah these things were way cuter than drowzee, as much as he liked rooting for the home team he couldn't deny the visual appeal.
He likely shouldn't have sought to catch one; Pearl () would surely kill it in its sleep. Sibling rivalry, DREAMEATER and all that.

Still, he had the pokéball to spare and they were all really adorable gathering together. Once he had enough footage, he made his move.

If not for Cait, then maybe he could catch a baby young enough to bond with his little game-piece while they were both young.

The hand on his shoulder eased his latent woes over what he'd lost. It felt good to have back something from back then again.

In regards to Rocket his intentions were straight forward; cut holes in their pockets, put shit in their shoes, and learn everything he could about them as his own pace.

He had no grand designs underway to take them down, being an effective nuisance was enough, for now.

"Something like that." In an official capacity Sénon Game was the Head Ranger and Kanto's Ambassador to Hoenn by doing both of his jobs with competence he was fighting Team Rocket. Yet it was his entrepreneurial work in opposing Rocket that he really wanted to make a dent with.

He couldn't lie to Sagira about his intentions but he also couldn't hit her over the head with all the details, it was bad protocol to talk shop anywhere the subject happened to come up.

"Come on, help me extract this meteorite and we can grab a bite, try to adjust from the whiplash of nostalgia." It really was a hallmarked moment, to have her back in his life.

Now that he was a man and life had properly tempered his expectations he didn't want to get ahead of himself thinking Hoenn was her new home and she'd be sticking around for a while but with any luck it was, and she would be.

Without vision his sense of hearing was focused and with his clearing mind his comprehension was peaked.

"Spill it." He didn't know what 'it' was but his ear was always friendly for her. Stumbling along that path to becoming less of a friend and more of a brother.

Given Stormy was at his side during a personal eruption, he intended to be a steady shoulder for her when life started to heat up.

She checkmated him. He really didn't want to go back to wrapping it up. In his mind he played with the idea of getting snipped.

Not likely the resident gardener would appreciate jeopardizing access to the seed supply. With the 'Sénon Game Super Highway' shut down and children no longer a factor, he might be more tempted to chase around women.

Fun as chasing might have been, it was no help to their pending litter nor his long term goals. Better to keep the bullets in the gun and live with the vigilance required to be armed.

He exasperated with reluctance about Cait's impending needling but the poking of something being up with Stormy and Fernando put the other thoughts out of his mind for now.

"Their relationship?" There was an implication there that he didn't want to read into. "What about it?"

Yet, as Kanto's Ambassador to Hoenn, he knew better than most.

He couldn't argue against profits, Celadon's Game Corner was more profitable several times over now that its patrons were all miserable Kantoians hoping against hope and Rockets flush with ill-gotten gains.

The money wasn't the problem, it was what they were willing to do for it.

With Adrian not even contesting for it, Sénon called Babysaur and Baby, his choice Safari Zone companion, got to flex with an assault of LEECH SEED and TAKE DOWN and repeat.

Effectively Baby used the little titan's own life force to sustain his repeated recoil attacks, leaving the Golett vulnerable to a premiere ball.
