All the points made were good ones. Gameface aside, inwardly Game had a strong sense that potential laid in the possibility of pairing Officers and Rangers to work in closer tandem.

One of Us, One of Them.

Granted even hearing aloud that some Rangers were flipping to the big red 'R' made him want to shut down all Ranger ops until they had a lid on who they could trust and they couldn't.

But it wasn't realistic, he had to work with the pieces he had, they all did.

Hanzo joined his side again and his as his maw opened for something, anything, other than a yawn, the Head Ranger rubbed a hand from forehead down his eyes and nose.

He shook his head. "This is crazy." Crazy wasn't the most accurate word, but it made him feel vindicated to say it aloud. Apparently from Hanzo's scouting for every one he saw there were even more he didn't.

"No." He responded to Paxton's inquiry. With a wrist-flick three pokémon hit the field from their balls; two baltoy and a ditto. After a moment, it was three Baltoy. "-a kit won't be necessary."

Last he checked Lilycove was another city without a proper Captain.

Taking a moment to put a device around the fire/ghost's neck that looked like half-a-donut or a neck pillow. He activated it with the press of a button on his XTransceiver.

"Hanzo!" He raised his voice to keep the pokémon focused on him. Diligent and clever one of the pokémon's only faults was the ease at which he could relax.

With this move added to his repertoire that quirk could be easily mitigated. After several minutes the device rumbled and vibrated for several times then shut down signaling that he could remove it safely. "How do you feel?"

Without emoting much the Typlosion stretched itself out long before the Ranger and closed its eyes peacefully.

Although its ears told the tale; he was still very awake...

Through the mind blistering heat he took his own consciousness one step and one breath at a time.

Same as last week he kept pace with the extra weight of Jennika's shell over his head.

Unlike last week the new mother was having trouble keeping cool in the heightened heat and humidity.

It took a SHELL SMASH to bust up her shelling enough for air to pass through, even she she used HAZE to add to the cool moisture inside the shelled remains.

Crashing down into a legendary snowbird was a surreal experience.

The Rangers body bounced off its ice cold stomach and he landed on his back. If he had the time and inclination to guess, Articuno would have been better served to stay still.

Surely its back would have taken the blow of a human free-falling into it then its belly.

He heard a strange gasp of air come from the Kantonian Myth, guessing he'd knocked the wind from his lungs and its air sacs or whatever.

Then again, as he was making the same noises, it was probably only himself that he heard. Either way, he wasn't getting up.

You only made this three days ago? Now I don't have to feel bad for not having a plotter at all. Good thing you did, I wouldn't have a place to put this otherwise.

Doug is one of the characters I quite respect through my own eyes and the eyes of Sénon. Maybe it's the Kanto, maybe its the long-suffering, maybe its the appreciation he has for Cait.

I see something interesting in the wanted ads and once I have some solid ideas to hit you with, I want to try to coordinate a new story branch for young JD.

"-Oh its right there." Because Lime caught a ditto after Slowe had already made the opening post this thread. "Why didn't you just say that?!" She probably had, honestly when she started talking about men he kinda just stopped listening to her.

Which meant he would either make for a terrible boss to her, or a tolerable one.

Approaching her she wouldn't be able to see the narrow way he squinted at her. He found her to be annoyingly guarded, she seemed to see him as the same.

Which made them, in spite of their obvious difference, two peas in a pod. "I'll be in touch, Violet." As much shit she gave him over the helmet, he said her name like it was an alias. He even made air quotes with his fingers.

With as little he knew of her it could have been an alias, not that it mattered for now. With the pokéball in hand he made his departure, already plotting away on his next venture with her.
