Bless. The cotton candy unicorn acted as another source of healing. Honestly, Gigi was shook. People risked their own and Pokemon's lives for a complete stranger. She was incredibly grateful but a cynical whisper reminded her, "you owe them now". "Thank you." 

The synchronized healing stabilized Ethernet, its body no longer glitching due to painful convulsions. "Sorry." her mumbles were barely audible. A shaking hand fidgeted for her Porygon's Pokeball, the capture device nearly slipping from her jerky movements. Gigi wouldn't - couldn't - risk Ethernet again. Ethernet was recalled, the Pokeball was immediately dropped into her pant's pocket for safety measures. 

Venusaur was a reliable tank but that didn't equate to invulnerable. "Synthesis." This time, her voice was steady and tone clear. Flowers began to recover and bloom as the Venusaur feasted the nearby nutrients.

With the origami people burned to a crisp (rest in pieces), Duracell was capable of mobilizing. "Duracell, try to cut off one of those creepy arm tongue things." Transparent wings buzzed into action. "Be careful!" Gigi called after the newly evolved Vikavolt. She worried if she was pushing Duracell too soon. What if he still needed to adapt to evolving?

A Kartana, somehow only partially burnt from the mega Camerupt, distracted her nervous mind. Oh, wait. It was still on fire. Gigi quickly stepped on it to put the fire out. Somehow, the Kartana was still struggling to move forward and attack. Gigi had to admit that it was an interesting creature. They looked like a cute monster in an RPG. Not to mention it had a lot of moxie. It couldn't hurt to try to catch one, right? She tossed a Pokeball, not expecting much, before turning to watch Vikavolt with bated breath.

Luckily, Duracell took to the air like a Ducklett to water. Serrated mandibles acted as scissors, allowing the dual type to attack. Flying in a x-like pattern, the Vikavolt attempted to use x-scissor on one of the Guzzlords creepy arms (or anything that he was capable of getting close to without getting hit). Duracell didn't even pause to examine the damage, or lack thereof, he conflicted before racing back to Gigi. 

With Vikavolt safely back by her side, Gigi struggled to think of her next move. Luckily, a familiar voice ticked memories of a life now long gone. "Shit. Is that you, Thomas?" Eyes widened in surprise as her gaze flickered up to the helmeted rider. "Damn. You're a sight for sore eyes." With Venusaur healed up, Gigi returned her to the safety of her Pokeball. Too large, can't ride. Bad Gigi - that was rude.. but still funny to her overstimulated brain. "Don't want to catch up in the middle of a war, eh?"

Captcha, displaying a serious expression that didn't match his normally easy-going attitude, levitated beside Gigi as she struggled to climb aboard the Hydreigon Express. "Captcha, use discharge if enemies approach us." Once they were in the air, Gigi would raise up her phone, secured in an iron grip hold, to capture the incredible view. "Talk about quality content, eh?" However, if (and when) turbulence disrupted the flight she'd quickly pocket the phone. Viewers would just have to learn to deal with the darkness inside her pocket. 

Gigi kept a watchful, observant eye on the battle below. She scanned for the Ponyta that had come to their assistance, hoping it was able to reunite with its trainer.

- venasaur uses synthesis to recover from the damage she tanked.

- gigi recognizes thomas and accepts his offer to fly the hecc out of there without hesitation.

- naturally, gigi streams the view from above, phone clasped in an iron grip, but her phone will be quickly shoved into her pocket at any sign of danger. can't risk her precious phone too much.

Remiel Calcifet thank you so much. i'm glad your asthma has been good this summer. i hope it stays that way!! a lot of people i know with asthma in my area have been struggling due to.. something. its said due to the humidity and pollen but i honestly have no clue. i know its unfounded, but i get so worried about making people wait. but its better than writing terrible posts because then i'd worry no one would want to thread with me since my writing is terrible xD

Delusional fantasies and fragile illusions shattered when reality threw a stone at her house of glass. Ingrained beliefs conflicted with the information being fed from her eyes to her brain. Gigi gritted her teeth as she cursed beneath her breath. Shock threatened to shut down her operating systems but she pushed on, facing a scene that made her uneasy stomach to churn. 

Ethernet, her beloved Porygon, had done as ordered, executed the command to perfection. However, Gigi had been incorrect, her strategy completely flawed. Standard rules and common sense were morphed in a way that was only seen in virtual reality. Perhaps she had been warped into a virtual world without knowing. Unfortunately, it appeared she was trapped in a simulation where "game over" didn't mean "try again"; there were no save files, no continues, no extra lives. 

Gigi crouched down beside the poison afflicted digital Pokemon. An otherworldly virus was infecting, corrupting the data that Porygon was comprised of. Her tactical mind was blank as she cradled the glitching Pokemon into her lap. "Don't you fucking leave me." her voice was scratchy as she held back a lump in her throat. "Don't you dare."

A pulse of life surrounded Ethernet, causing her convulsing to slow. There was no telling how long it would last. She glanced in the direction of the Pokemon who had come to their aid. Gigi mouthed a silent "thank you" to its trainer (Thomas Benoit ) but his words fell on deaf ears. Thankfully, her mind was slowly beginning to rebuild and calm down. A certain clarity brought her to her senses. 

The Charjabug, previously being lugged by his trainer, had accidentally been dropped on the ground when the woman had blindly reacted to the aftermath of her failed tactics. Worry consumed the small bug. But what could it possibly do? Duracell felt the need to protect his newfound family. Determination caused him to wriggle forward, closer to the Guzzlord. But then it started to charge: charge in the direction where his trainer knelt with his fellow teammate in hand. 

Fierce anger at his incompetence fueled a reaction in his body. A blindingly white light consumed the small bug: its body began to elongate, serrated jaws akin to tusks formed, and metallic wings breached its back. Duracell shed the former cell of himself as he blazed forward, now a fully evolved Vikavolt, and shot a sticky web in the path of the Guzzlord, attempting to overlap it with the rocks scattered on the ground. He prayed the web would cause the rocks to stick to the feet of the monstrous beast but he had little hope.

Quickly, he flew back to his trainer's side. By now, Gigi had begun to recover. "Captcha, drop me my phone." The Rotom obliged without complaint, shell-shocked by the experience. "Try to confuse it if you can. Don't push yourself too hard. If you are in danger then abort." 

"Karen." Voice steady now, Gigi's commands were clear. "Grab Porygon - gently." As the Venusaur loaded the precious cargo, Gigi clumsily climbed onto her back. She clung to foliage as she placed Ethernet into a safe crevice. "Get us out of the way!" The large Pokemon didn't need to be told twice.

Grass began to shift underneath the Venusaur's feet and then, with remarkable speed, the giant began to slide across the grass as if it had turned into a childhood toy.  Venusaur began to grass glide in an attempt to carry them out of the path of the raging Guzzlord. Maybe even knocking a few, hopefully, enemies, aside. 

Meanwhile, as the rest hopefully escaped, Rotom attempted to cast a confuse ray on the beast. Although its double team was still up, he was cautious and fled to his trainer's side as soon as possible.

During this time, Gigi was frantically typing in the stream's chat, asking for any knowledge about this strange poison. She pushed the negative comments to the back of her mind but one still rang deep, "l-o-l you get what you deserve". Rage at herself, the anonymous user, and the Guzzlord fueled her fingers to move faster as she searched the web, one eye keeping watch on her peripheral visions, for any clues.

charjabug evolves into vikavolt (shiv approved). with its new mobility and ability to fly, vikavolt uses a sticky web on the path guzzlord is charging down. he overlays it on top of the stealth rocks in hopes that it'll cause the stones to get stuck into the guzzlord. 

after loading porygon onto her back, gigi climbed onto venusaur's back (clutching her foliage with firm grip and moving porygon into a presumably safe spot on venusaur's back). 

rotom uses confuse ray on the guzzlord before returning to gigi's side (+1 evasiveness from double team)

venusaur uses grassy slide to get out of the way of the guzzlord's path (possibly crashing into anything/anyone on either side she managed to barrel down). 

gigi frantically asks her stream chat and searches the web for a way to help porygon.

Before I start, I want to apologize to everyone I’m currently threading/plotting with. Unfortunately, posts will be delayed. I’ve been extremely tired lately. I went to a doctor’s appointment today and they did a pulmonary function test.

My lung functioning/oxygen capacity is at a 76% (which I noticed even lower ones as the test went on but averages yay). My asthma has been out of control. I knew it was bad because I can barely walk without being out of breath/wheezing but I didn’t realize it was that low (usually in the low/mid 90s, higher 80s).

I will try to post whenever I feel well and able. I am really sorry that I’m delaying my threads and making people wait.

Eyes scanned the vast wilderness. Oh, boy! Nature, plants, flowers, etc.! Honestly, she had already spent enough time in this flora infested place. Her skin itched and burned from bug bites that she wasn't even sure when or how they got there. Gigi was accustomed to the indoors and thrived in air-conditioned places. It was a surprise, really, that she had managed to last this long.

She was about to head toward the safari warden's office when her sharp gaze caught sight of a Pokemon she knew well. Castform. It was hard for the woman to contain her excitement. Castform was originally created by weather (or something of that nature she didn't really care) scientists. Artificial Pokemon enthralled the former pro-gamer. Technology, and science she supposed, had come a long way. Being able to create man-made Pokemon had seemed like a wild dream however many years ago but they succeeded. 

Quietly, Gigi stepped closer and closer to the Castform. The forecast Pokemon was on the smaller side - a younger Castform, perhaps? "Hey." Her voice startled the timid Castform. "Calm down, buddy." The wild Pokemon did the exact opposite which was a predicted outcome. Beady black eyes were darting to-and-fro, attempting to find an escape route. 

Patience wasn't her forte but she knew, like the Spinarak, she would have to take this one slow. Gigi crouched down as she lifted her hands in the air, causing the Pokemon to flinch. A frown tugged on the corners of her mouth but was quickly replaced with a smile. "Are you scared?"

A few long moments of complete silence passed before Castform nodded his head. During that freeze frame, Gigi had closely examined the normal-type. Hands curled into fists as she noticed the signs of abuse: tears in its cloth, the fearful look in its eyes, the way it trembled. She cursed on her breath as she fished for the last Pokemon treat.

"Hungry?" Her usual gruff voice was calm as she placed the food on the ground, albeit still in a location where the famished Castform had to physically approach her. A stand-off ensued. Gigi was about to call it quits, her legs numb from her position, when the Pokemon nervously approached her. Although he kept one eye on her, he ravenously ate the food. It was a step in the right direction.

The sound of thunder clashed in the distance, causing the Castform to startle and unknowingly flee in Gigi's direction. It was only when he crashed into Gigi that he realized his error. He flinched back as if waiting for punishment, punishment which never came.

"Afraid of storms?" Gigi tried to keep her voice light. When the Castform nodded, she nearly aww'd out loud. "You'll be safe inside here." The appearance of the safari ball frightened the Pokemon even more. "No worries. If you don't want to.." The Castform, despite himself, protested. The security of the capsule devices was one of his few pleasant experiences. "Tap the ball if you wanna tag along. I'll let you out when the storm is gone and we can figure it out from there. How does that sound?"
