Enjoying his grapejuice and indulging a some sponsored over-eating Wuuko enjoyed the crosstini's until the commotion from the guests spread to his pokémon.

Particularly, the Metamon triplets who began fighting with each other by aggressively pressing their jellies together.

Recalling them to pokéballs only Himeguma and Iessan remained by his side.

He'd come to watch the stars but this was kind of nice too.
The meteno ( ) , the couples, the enjoyment. The bowties on his pokémon. It felt like a nice memory, one worth keeping.

It all looked chaotic, but that was life wasn't it? You couldn't sleep your whole life away, or you'd only make more ghosts to hide from.

Mistakenly, he poured himself wine mistakenly, wincing at the flavor, he replaced it with grapejuice instead.

The next encounter came and went in rapid pacing.

Wandering out from the brush and appearing before him was a Lanculus. He barely got to kneel and try to reason before he was struck on the nasal bridge with a permeable fist.

As the blood trickled down and he clutched at his nose, his team of pokémon pressed their ground aggressively encroaching on the newcomer before Wuuko could will them to stop.

After he had, the psychic-type eased up and seemed to accept his company and his offerings of food. Even going as far as using FUTURE SIGHT in an attempt to see if the human was worth its time or not, ultimately it was just curious enough about Wuuko to stick around.

a Kinogassa. Its weary expression reminded him of his own as it stopped to size up himself and his pokémon. Sensing no hostility the fighting-type went on its way, as did Wuuko.

The unovan stand seemed to explode with no warning.

Covering his face from utensils and debris and steam-streaming Kentauros stared him down with angry eyes.

Taking one more bite from his pretzel he was forced to throw it aside in order to call out the triplets.

In seconds the three Metamon became three Kentauros and before they could knocked out the rampaging bull it ran away.

Taking the time to make sure Himeguma was safe and the triplets staying behind to do the same for him, the Kentauros escaped.

The metamon triplets had to be put in pokéballs for him to come to this event. It was nice to get out of the lab even if they couldn't enjoy the freedom to roam as he did.

He'd gotten here late so by the time he showed up there were many faces he knew from "work" among the crowd. Not that he was here to socialize. As he saw all the other people gathering in pairs and groups the gravity of his isolation weighed on him unlike ever before.

Maybe it was time to start putting himself 'out there' again.

So much time alone wasn't healthy, somewhere deep in the recesses of his mind, he knew it would catch up with him if he wasn't careful.

Taking his Himeguma by the hand he came to a food stand getting a unovan food stand getting a pretzel for himself before tearing off a piece for the Little Bear. "..."

After last weeks trip to Mt. Chimney and subsequently, the Jagged Pass, his book of tourist attractions made mention of a place that reminded him of home.

Mt. Pyre was the region's resting place for Pokémon spirits, the closest thing Hoenn had to his hometown's pokémon tower. "..." On the list of attractions in the brochure it was many stops away but upon hearing its existence Wuuko was drawn to it, just as the Pokémon Tower in Lavender had drawn him in.

No longer a child terrified of Ghost-type pokémon the supernatural still unnerved him and he sought to explore it to explore his anxiety tied to it.

How long had he been awake? His eyelids felt heavy and his eyes like they were on fire.

Even the triplets were asleep.

Naturally, his instinct sought to put it off but it seemed it growing time for him to sleep again. Running lightspeeds per hour his mind moved too fast to properly focus on his tasks for tomorrow. Only one thing above all being something he dreaded yet would have to handle soon; a pokeball sitting on the corner desk of his lab.

Small talk.

He was almost in bed when his cell phone went off, the chime for text messages preceded his brains refusal to go to sleep without knowing what the message pertained to. Reading a message from he dressed quickly and casually enough, a quote coming to mind. "A wise man will make more opportunities than he finds."


Making his way over he found who he was looking for quickly enough. Interrupting some conversation he wasn't a part of and excusing himself just as quickly.

"Mr. Priam. Your Mashade." Quick and to the point he decided not to complicate things with the possibility that his loaned pokémon had a penchant for grabbing men's asses. Of course there was always the chance that it was that woman, who'd done it.

Looking around, he didn't see her.

"Thank you for your help." Giving the man his pokéball back, he made for the door; better to return the pokémon to a time and place where Priam was nearby and easy to find.
