Cobalion charged through the front entrance, his heels crushing the shards of glass underneath him and leaving a clear trail of him heading deeper into the compound, to the mainstage area.

he arrives with terrakion, who had led him all the way to sootopolis.

"urgh, why here?"

the question directed to the legend lingers in the air as the pokemon cannot respond with words. the mystery of the purpose of their trip remains, but it's certain that it was urgent. terrakion doesn't normally ask from him after all.

a pair of footsteps follow closely behind him. he turns and sees the other sword of justice, and with the location of choice in consideration, the puzzle pieces fit themselves seamlessly.

"virizion too?" he asks matias. kyle steps away from the door and presents the wreckage of an entrance to the elite four. "do you want the honor?"

-of stepping inside a building that presents itself as a red flag.

unsure of why virizion led him all the way to sootopolis as well, matias is left having to connect the dots which he does so easily when he sees the building in front of him.[break][break]

He stops once he reaches her old stage, the entire gym was in a dilapidated state. Graffiti covered the walls, broken glass strewn about everywhere. It was clear that the new residents of sootopolis frequently visited this place to trash it, it broke her heart to see it in such a state. [break][break]

She grips her chest as black veins continued to pulse throughout her body as Cobalion looks at her concerned. "I'll be fine, I just need a place to catch my breath." she says as she begins to search around for her old headphones that let her control the gym, would they even still work? Cobalion's head swivels over towards the back of the gym as an old friend and a traitor arrive in the gym. [break][break]

Melody feels his unease and she turns around and sees kyle lopez and MATIAS SILPH. "So Dahlia recruited you both to bring me back and inject me again?" she asks as her tone was rather uncommon for her, the smiley sparkly diva's expression dipped in anger.

he would ask her to explain everything, but the aggression dissuades kyle from doing so. if melody, who wasn't the type of person to get confrontational, acted like this, then he can already guess that she'll also accuse him for feigning ignorance.
