THE ULTRA PLANT IS A DARK WORLD that is wracked by frequent thunderstorms. Lightning spears the desolate canyons and valleys of this world and massive cord-like structures bridge the gaps. Whenever lightning strikes, lights attached to these cords light up too. In the horizon, large Xurkitree can be seen, dwarfing the area you arrive in...[break][break]

Several abandoned power stations can be found throughout the area, but they seem to be deactivated...

Everything about this place put Elisabeth on edge. The mechanical nature of the Ultra Plant unmoored her, keeping her natural ties to the earth through Wo-chien locked behind metal and circuitry.[break][break]

Even resting her hand on a nearby fence supporting their travel rewarded her with a jolt that fleetingly shocked through her, courtesy of a cord that dangled from its heights.[break][break]

"I think this is my least favorite place in the Wilds, of all I've ventured to," she muttered as she yanked her hand away, keeping in the other underboss's shadow. Her long mane of curly black hair had been untied behind her; a mistake, she decided, as it reacted to the static cling of all the electricity buzzing around her.[break][break]

Nonetheless, when THEO BECKETT's hand reached to smooth it, she flinched despite herself.[break][break]

The shadowy figure of Stakatakas standing vigil could be seen around them: inanimate so long as they stayed far enough away to avoid their ire. Every so often the flashlight reflected on one, and Elisabeth would hold her breath, preparing for a fight that didn't come.[break][break]

After releasing one such breath, she admitted, "But you're right. It's a tiring way to live."

She smirked then, mockery dripping from her words as they fled, "Oh, right. Because charging ahead blindly doesn't work."[break][break]

The TERA BLAST cut through the swarming horde, pushing them back.
