at mossdeep observatory years ago, she’d seen what she’d believed to be arceus turning away in the distant past to abandon them – but someone’s eyes peered back in the distance. she could feel them, always.[break][break]

still, maybe the staircase was never-ending, only a metaphor for the dream that all mysteries could be solved if only one kept climbing towards enlightenment.[break][break]

i am the central circle, mystery boomed.[break][break]

she had thought and drank at length about circles. they were infinite, self-sustaining, with no ins or outs.[break][break]

her brow furrowed, eyes narrow with thought and stubbornness.[break][break]
