he mulls it over, finding it difficult to parse what is so abstract together into something coherent and tangible. the simplest way, he decides, is to relate it to something grounded in reality.

because it confirms suspicions he's had even before his mind unraveled under the weight of groudon's influence. he knew there had to be a reason why Michael Navidson bothered him so much — it's because he seems a reflection of himself, different, but the core essence is there.
