Toxinology has always been Ceri's greatest fascination, and when paired for her love of Exobiology it just happens to make for the projects that interest her the most. A Naganadel's venom checks all of those boxes for her, and because THEO BECKETT is the one who has provided her with this opportunity, he quickly makes his way into Ceri's short list of Rocket higher ups that are quite alright.

"Oh, it does? How did it lose the other one, if you don't mind me asking? That's pretty interesting, though, since Ultra Beasts can, like... completely regenerate under the right circumstance, no? Like how priam conrad's Guzzy was revived using only one arm... though in that case it was mostly the Blue Mulch at work."

She shrugs, mostly voicing her thoughts out loud. Much to the regular dismay of the people around her, Ceri tends to be in the habit of talking quite a lot when it comes to the things she's excited about.

There isn't even a hint of disgust in Ceri's face, because such things simply come with the territory. Much can be learned from studying a Pokémon's feces, even if Ceri herself tends to be of the preference of studying blood and tissue samples.

"Cool, cool, love that." The researcher writes some notes on her tablet, then looking at Micah once again. There it is. The Donphan in the room. It's not like she can just disclose what her work for Team Rocket is (specially after they had very graciously spared the budget for her to have an assistant to begin with), so instead Ceri just grin.

"I'm looking for someone with guts, Micah." There's something there... Like the Cheshire cat talking to Alice, the same level of mischief in her grin. "See, I'm not here to study the same ol' boring things other people have studied a million times before. I'm here to make discoveries, and I need an assistant willing to push those boundaries with me, ya catch my drift?"

"Ah, so he totally would hit me with his spoon." Ceri muses out loud, pouting and totally ignoring Priam's comment on being mean (it's the most untrue thing she has ever heard, but she wouldn't want to be mean by saying it).

All of those concerns soon leave her mind anyway, being distracted by the data shown on Priam's screen. Bringing out her own tablet, Ceri takes some notes, finding herself particularly interested in differences between this Alakazam and a standard one.

"Rage? Damn, so it is really mean then. Priamie you're sooo cool for training a Pokémon like that." Is she honest or just teasing him? Maybe a little bit of both. Regardless, Ceri is sure she would struggle with such a Pokémon. "What does Toxic Heart do? Do you think we'd need to sedate him to collect samples?"

See, Ceri Glynn is someone who places a high value on her life; she's young, beautiful, funny, a great dancer, and above all else, talented and way too fucking smart. Such being the case, she's not a big fan of the prospect of ending up with her head popping like a balloon in space, but what is also true about Ceri is that she values discovery above all else.

Do both of these things conflict? Not often, but they sure do when going to the fucking moon is concerned.

Thankfully for Ceri, Team Rocket makes the decision for her, and all of her self-preservation instincts to stay making discoveries in the controlled environment that is her lab are pushed out the window. Silver lining of it all? Space training had been great for staying in shape, she's working with someone she admires (Lulu Flint), her companion is an adorable Poipole, and she's on the fucking moon looking for aliens! All-in-all a great trade-off.

"Ah, don't worry about Penrose, he's a total cutie." Ceri says, a soft giggle of her own matching that of the Poipole. Lulu is right about her fondness for Ultra Beast, and being that Poipole happen to be poison type and adorable, they're actually one of her favourite Pokémon (second only to Nihilego). She's thankful that the head scientist had been thoughtful enough to send Penrose with her, and with the Poipole by her side, she steps forward, still growing accustomed to the difference in gravity.

"Do we really think there's more Deoxys out here? I suppose with just one it could have been more of an isolated incident, but if more keep appearing it would point towards something like a mass migration—..." Ceri muses while stepping onto the lunar surface, knowing the camera on her suit (currently possessed by her Rotom, Pixel) is recording everything. There's excitement in her voice, and when she's excited, the Northern Galarian lilt Lulu would perhaps easily recognize becomes even more obvious. "It would be cool to know why they left their planet... and where they came from to begin with."

She makes sure to at least collect standard soil samples to bring back, her work ever quick and precise.

Ceri doesn't need to call for her Rotom for the Pokémon to appear, possessing a camera that tirelessly records the metamorphosis of Isaac Merlo's Totodile. It had been quite easily that the Pokémon had gotten used to assisting her at the lab after the M.A.G.M.A Division had given it to her (thanks, Cillian Quinn), and these days, Pixel is an assistant she almost can't do without. Well, she could, but having a Rotom just makes everything so much easier, you know?

"Cute, right? That's a grass type Tera Crown! Some Pokémon don't like them too much so it doesn't show up for them, but I guess Watson easily adapted to the change. What a good lad."

Watson gets a treat from Ceri for that one, thrown his way with a simple "Catch!", then her attention turns back to Isaac.

"So Watson can stay Terrastellized like this until he faints, and he will be grass type the whole time. He'll have access to this move called TERA BLAST, which obviously matches whatever type your Pokémon is Terrastellized at. I'd tell you to test it, but I don't want you to break my equipment, yeah?" She laughs. "You can give him more type options by having him atune with more Terastal Crystals... even all eighteen types, if you want."

Their meeting is long overdue, and when bryan delarosa enters the M.A.G.M.A Division's facilities in Sootopolis City, he's ushered to one of the floors only a chosen few have access to. The lab space selected for this particular appointment is one meant for the study of larger Pokémon, a pristine and sterile environment, complete with state of the art equipment and ample space for the Rocket Beast's patron to be comfortable. It also happens to be directly next to one of Blackstone Lab's greenhouses, and through a sturdy glass panel, he would be able to see the plants kept within, a few Crystabloom specimens standing out among them.

It's from this greenhouse that the short researcher approaches, clad in a short tartan skirt and a lab coat with the embroidered logo of the M.A.G.M.A Division. Her surname is clearly embroidered in black next to it: GLYNN.

"Oh, you're here! Awesome! I've been dying to meet you." Is she exaggerating? Not in the slightest. Ceri greets Bryan with the brightest of smiles, offering a hand. "I'm Ceri Glynn. Thank you for coming here today."

You know how when the new year starts you make resolutions like "This year I'll exercise more!", get pumped about it, and then quickly remember that exercising can be really fucking painful? That is exactly what is happening to Ceri right now.

See, she hadn't made such a resolution, because she knows herself well enough to know her work doesn't give her time for any of that, but her research had left her with a need to reach the summit of Mount Chimney for the sake of collecting samples, and since weather conditions aren't ideal for flying, here she is, hiking.

"Oh, Domino, I think I'm gonna die." She tells her Salandit in the most overdramatic way possible, sitting on a rock to take a break. The little lizard trilling as it skitters up to her side, pointing towards an approaching hiker.

"Mmmm..." is the sound that escapes Ceri's lips when looking through the pages of the journal, considering the information found. Then, she looks at Gerald Kaiser of all people. "It is weird, but I guess not if you consider the context of Megalopolan society. They're from Ultra Space, and Ultra Space is the layer between dimensions, meaning they may have gone to many dimensions like ours long before they became our allies. Plus... there's that whole thing with Unown, ya? People speculate that Unown are the base for our language, and those travel through dimensions, so maybe Megalopolans developed a similar language when first encountering Unown too."

Is he following everything she's saying? Maybe, may not, but Ceri doesn't bother with confirming any of that. She just beams with the brightest and most cheerful of smiles, putting the Megalopolan journal safely away in one of her sample bags. She'll have a closer look back at the lab, and she's sure Lulu Flint will probably also want to do as much.

Her attention then turns to @gaultier.

"Oh! A Faraday cage is a great idea. There should be something like... a lightning rod nearby, probably connected to their generators. I'll see if I can get one to work. Meanwhile..." As she speaks, she reaches for the adorable Love Balls at her belt. Grabbing one, Ceri releases an adorable black and white Salandit that rubs itself against her leg like a kitten. "Domino, help Oscar with welding, yeah? Remember, strong but small and controlled flames."

The Salandit trills, skittering over to oscar clayton's side. Admittedly, aside from Domino being a great purse-lizard, his usefulness for her biotech projects is exactly why he's one of Ceri's few favourites. He knows what to do, so Ceri and her Rotom leave him to that, instead turning their attention to their lightning-collection mechanisms.

Terastal Crystals and Terastallization are well-known and well-honed in the Paldea region, but the phenomenon had never been present anywhere else... until now. Much of the reason why Ceri had been able to create Tera orb prototypes so quickly had been the data provided by their contacts in Paldea, which had saved her a lot of time in finding out the dos and don'ts of Terastal Crystals.

"Careful there, Watson. You wouldn't want to end up accidentally filled with Terastal energy." There's a mischievous smirk, but just in case, she still closes the box the moment a crystal is chosen. Then her attention turns to Isaac's question. "Okie, so... Think of it like an in-between between a Passho Berry and a Mega Stone, ya? You give the crystal to the Pokémon you want to Terastallize, and it will absorb its energy, causing it to disintegrate. One time use and forever able to Terastellize to the crystal's type when its trainer's Tera Orb activates. Make sense?"

Bedtime stories her father would tell her whenever he was actually home for her bedtime instead of drinking and gambling their money away, but who has time to waste thoughts on that worthless man? We're talking about interesting things here!

"Shame it shows up so inconsistently, though. You'd think something like setting up an energy banquet for it would work, like a big Tesla coil or something... The power plant has a special magnetic field, yeah? I've read about some steel and electric types being attracted to those. Since magnetic fields are in constant flux, maybe there's a chance it shows up when the magnetic field is stronger."

Ceri makes a habit out of voicing many of her thoughts, and when she does, she does so quickly and dripping in a northern Galarian lilt that seems more and more pronounced with the more excited she is. That is what happens at this very moment, and only once she pauses to further consider possibilities on how to attract Zapdos' attention, does she realize what she just did.

Ceri has never been one to be particularly interested in legendary Pokémon, but she is interested in the abilities some of them have. A Pokémon that takes energy energy from a power plant? Now, that's a juicy one. A million ideas cross the researcher's mind.

She muses, not pausing for even a second while her gaze is drawn to Oscar's pile of tools. Among them, her gaze searches for a medium sized adjustable wrench. Good thing she knows her tools.
