The spacial attack tore through the dinosaur in the same way that it tore through the air, forcing the beast to howl in pain.

In one swift gesture, Roy revealed a clenched fist from his pocket, containing a peculiar stone that shimmered with infinity energy. "Take it down," he commanded his charizard as the air around him started to shimmer. A surge of colorful energy erupted from his fist, infusing his charizard with an aura that resembled the shimmer.

In response, Balmung transformed, evolving into a new form coated in ethereal blue flames. This sudden metamorphosis fueled Balmung's fury as he unleashed a devastating Dragon Hammer into the same spot that was weakened by the Spacial Rend. Again, the creature staggered, releasing roars of agony that echoed across the chasm walls.

"Again," Roy's voice sounded ruthless and determined as he urged his charizard to continue the onslaught despite the cries from the beast. Balmung continued their coordinated assault but allowed the scientist and her legendary pokemon to act in tandem.

In a sudden eruption of nature's fury, tendrils burst forth from the earth, weaving a shield built of roots and vines. Some of the paradox pokemon were ensared by the bramble while others were separated from the fight. Roy probed the scene until his gaze found the source of their salvation; Tapu Bulu, the guardian deity, had appeared to help.

"We need to get out of here," he urgently called out to Thomas, swiftly recalling of his pokemon to their respective spheres.

With the completion of the drill and the extraction of their sample, their mission was ready to conclude. Now, they just needed to escape.

Once the onyx-colored dragon made collided with his target, the draconid snapped out of his trance-like state, the charred remnants of the rocket's psychic-type acting as a catalyst for his awakening.

"Dispose of it," with a fierce gesture of a single hand, Roy ordered his fiery demon to destroy the equipment.

Coated in the same bluish flames as before, the charizard unleashed another inferno, directed specifically at the drill and the surrounding equipment. He had no interest in the ice-type that entered the field of combat. If the dragon was to have his way, the majority of the machine and its drill would be turned into heaps of scrap metal, leaving only remnants of the console behind.

Suddenly, a new piercing screech reverberated off the chasm wall, bouncing off the stone and crystal in such a way that Balmung's could not.

Whether triggered by the ambient noise of the drill or Balmung's thunderous roar, something in this twisted realm viewed the four as intruders. They were not safe. The unforgiving lands of Aero Zero harbored dangers beyond imagination. Coupled with the presence of Team Rocket, it was a volatile mix that made Roy feel far too uncomfortable.

"We don't have time for this," he barked at the head ranger, applying a subtle level of urgency.

As the draconid's charizard was consumed by his own flame, the tera crystals in the vicinity reacted. With the fire-type move acting as the catalyst, Balmung was transformed. Scales were covered in crystals as the reptile felt his fire-type moves empowered by strange rocks of Area Zero.

Like a missile, the dragon collided into the horde of pink, knocking out several pokemon in a single swoop.

While the two took a heavy toll on the collection of pink gumballs, the creature of built entirely of magnets found a perch nearby where it could act as back-up artillery to the infantry. The two magnets on its highest piece acted as rails as the paradox pokemon unleashed Zap Cannon towards the human targets. Another pokemon of the same form took a similar stance on rock that was further back, firing off the same electric-type move in repetition.

After his Flare Blitz into the crowd of Scream Tail, Balmung reacted quickly to take the brunt of the electric-type move to protect his trainer. Unfortunately, the dragon was weak to electric-type moves. Like a warplane shot out of the air, the charizard came tumbling down into the mass of pink below.

"Dammit," That's all the draconid could fire back in response. From his pocket, Roy summoned two additional pokemon to the field. Unlike Balmung, both were grounded, but also had clear weaknesses to the fairy-type infantry.

Gravity has its way with the ranger before Roy is ever given the opportunity to save him. This same shift in gravity pulls Balmung towards the same fate, but again, Roy is helpless as another Electro Web is fired at his direction. Fortunately for the draconid, the ranger's dragon successfully played guardian once more. This gave Roy ample time to react to the criminals and their pokemon.

"airem," he utters, a single word resonating with an essence that did not feel human. The structure and tone of the dialect suggested some kind of creature released it, but it is Roy who commands. With his order, the draconid reveals a locked fist from his pocket. Between the gaps in his fist, a sudden burst of color erupts from the stone contained within his palm. That's when his charizard transforms from an orange-colored dragon to something far more sinister.

Empowered by a cerulean blaze, the mega-evolved charizard was capable of defying gravity's pull through propulsion. Although slower than normal, the dragon's sheer willpower allowed it to skate across the air to its target. Balmung's roar reverberates through the chasm as flames engulf its body, transforming it into a comet of a blazing energy. The charizard takes aims at the single psychic-type enforcing gravity upon any target in the vicinity.
