When it came to his city Razz was always going to do his best to protect it. Whether it be from a problematic pokemon terrizing it's over hunted pray, or from nasty pirates that have been going after private ships like they've been as of late. So he has been paired with another on a yacht borrowed by a rich man who was attacked once and didn't want to be again. So now him and this other ranger: Izumi, he caught were sailing it with all it's lights on pretending there was a party going on as the sun was going down. The large boat waiting in the water like a sitting duck just BEGGING to be robbed, "Anything yet?" he asked the other not having seen anyone approaching so far.

She had actually decided to put her ‘training’ to use, and was now—well, she was part of the Rangers now, so to speak. Even if she had kids and a family, well, at least it allowed her (actually it gave her) a pretty good excuse to be out and about with Pokémon.

It also gave her reason to look for nice Pokémon she could bring home and show the kids! So right now, finding herself all the way out here on the shores of Eastern Hoenn… well this was a quandary.

Normally she did things together with Josh, but seeing as he was playing catch-up with a fellow agent from who knew where (Thomas) she decided to strike out with this one by herself.

“If they were here, I would know,” she replied, her eyes roving through the crowd.

Razz just tilted his head at her? "How so have you memorized those that came on board?" he asked curious on her lack of doubt. However she may want to take those words back as suddenly the power seemed to go out on the boat. Everything was now dark, the yacht was now drifting the currents rather than being pushed by it's engines. Shit this wasn't good, and worse now was that the people on board were panicking [break][break]

"Can you check the engines see if whoever did this is still there, I"ll keep an eye on things up here"

Ah, subtlety.

It was something she’d learned to pick up on all those years she was travelling through the known world with her then-boyfriend, now-husband. People-watching skills? She definitely picked up on those from him. While not an official member of the organization that he was a part of, she had learned a lot of useful things…

“For starters,” she began with a chuckle, “…everyone is up here on board—look over at the buffet table,” she pointed out. It was nearing dinner time, and most of everyone was milling around the dinner spread. Even the crew members were helping themselves off to a smaller table on one side.

“…good idea. I’ll do that,” she nodded, reaching into her back pocket and pulling out a pair of metal-plated gauntlets and slipping them on. “Be careful up here.”

Oh, she had no idea of what was waiting for her down below as she descended below decks…

The young man just gave her a thumbs up watching her leave as he brought Sabrina from her pokeball. The air was quiet for a short time before shouts could be heard off the ship as ropes with hooks were through up as it seems Pirates used small boats to try and board the yacht. Not that he woudl allow it. "Psychic!" he calls out as both cats use their abilities to remove the hooks and throwing them into the sea to prevent them from coming on. [break][break]

After the failedattempt there a Samurott was summoned by one of the pirates. Heh hopefully the other was fairing better than him.

As she descended deep into the belly of the ship—she realized that there was something amiss.

Who knew that her partner had called it right when he’d asked her to check out the engine room?! Instead of finding pirates down there, she found passed-out crew members, and the control panel was set on autopilot at that moment. Checking the crew members to make sure they were just asleep, she sighed.

“No wonder…” she mused out loud, before hearing several thumping noises not too far up ahead. Oh? There was something going down?

Making a mad dash out of the engine room, she prepared herself for the inevitable and swung a fist out at someone who had tried to grab her from one side, before following it up with a sweeping axe kick.

“Oh no you don’t!” she exclaimed as the woozy brigand—she could smell the stench of rhum on his breath—attempted to grab her and knock her out.

“Not on this ship, you jackass!” she added a few moments later as she brought down her elbow and sent the brigand reeling. She could hear more shouting the further top deck she went, and presumed that the one she’d knocked out was the one who had knocked out the crew members down below.

At the Hydro Pumped aimed at them Selem was quick to bring up a light screen in order to protect the people on board as it held back the water it was clearly using to try and attack them. To bad for the Samurott they were approved for harsh force. "Sent it right back" he orders the two as both cat's eyes glow blue with a combo of their psychic abilities to grab the Hydro Pump itself and sent it right back at the water pokemon knocking it off.

To bad for them they weren't done as Salem followed up with a Disarming voice but at a few pirates below with the intention of making them cover their ears to prevent them from summoning more pokemon. Sabrina coming to the other side before she used Charge Beam in the very water they were in electrocuting several down below and knocking out those in one of the three boats. The boats of those still able to move decided this wasn't worth it and high tailed of it out of there one of them returning the Samurott with her. Damn. Well at least they could arrest some of them.

"Bring them up" he orders as the cats use their abilities to try and lift up the knocked out pirates. Razz calls over to one of the crew members to get him rope.

Apparently, as it turned out, there were more of them lurking in the stairwell below decks, preventing anyone else unfortunate enough to get trapped below going top side. Who knew if they’d looted so many things from the unprotected rooms already?

After knocking out another one of the brigands with an elbow to the back of their neck, she then summoned her Gardevoir and pointed all around.

“Get all the knocked-out idiots and bring them along,” she said as she pointed towards the…trail…of passed-out brigands she’d left behind in her wake. Eyes flashing a few moments, the Gardevoir then tapped into its well spring of power and began to lift everyone up, before Teleporting topside.

She then had to go back down and haul the other one back up as best as she could—the guy who was drunk off rhum and now probably enjoying a snooze fest below. Eventually she returned, and the Gardevoir had helped piled the brigands she’d knocked out into a general circle.

“How’d it go up here?” she asked her companion once she’d hauled off the last brigand and watched as they were tied up with rope.

“Nothing too bad?”

Razz thanked the crea that got him what he needed making sure to tie their hands behind them as well as boudn the legs for extra security. H pounced lightly with a hand reaching for his belt for another pokemon at a sudden noise only to see a blue Gardivor holding more knocked out people. Most likely the people his partner caught good. "We're... going to need more rope," he can't help but mutter but is more than happy to do what he can to ensure that when they woke up they wouldn't be a problem. [break][break]

While doing his job the half blind ranger just kept his focus one what he was doing after asking the crew to keep the people calm. "Alright, sadly some escaped as I didn't let them come on board, but we did catch some so maybe we can question them when we're back on land, what about down below?" he ask figuring they could compair notes to talk to the captain later on. But for now the job seemed done.

“Apparently, the crew below decks had been knocked out by that idiot I hauled up,” she gestured at the one who reeked of alcohol, “…and there were more of them, making sure that anyone who may have been trapped in their rooms didn’t get out.”

Shaking her head, she sighed.

“Well, at least that takes care of these troublemakers,” she added a few moments later as the other crew members began searching the tied-up brigands’ pockets and finding all kind of pilfered loot—mostly wallets, jewelry, and other valuable items from the cabins that they had looted.

“Oh, Arceus. Thank goodness you thought of splitting up and checking down below, look at how much stuff they’re finding,” she went on as the pile of stolen goods being taken back from their ‘collection’ was sorted together to be picked over by the passengers that had lost them during the attack.
