To say the war had been spiritually taxing would be an understatement at this point. First the meeting to learn about crazy cannibal aliens they would need to prep for, then their actual attacks that have been taking place. Its been rough, especially the first one he was there for when on of their fellow Rangers was struck down by lightning due to one of the poison pokemon these aliens had sent on the city. The whole thing was a shit show really but Razz had made sure to report back to the boss about it. So when the location was learned about where these bastards were Razz was more than happy to join his boss for taking them out. [break][break]

It was night when the Rangers made their move, some distance away from the camp as Razz used his monoscope to check the details of what was at the camp. "There looks to be 10 of them, with a couple of those small poison ultra beast with the syringe on their head," forgive him he wasn't familiar with the name of any ultra beast. Putting his monoscope back in his pocket he looked over at his boss, "They also seem to have a couple of the infected pokemon with them, how do you want to approach this sir?"[break][break]

Whether or not the head ranger wanted to go in guns blazing or try stealth with this Razz was ready and equipped. Both with his pokemon and himself with his usual baton, and some spare antidote he made sure to bring with. Hoping that along with taking out the aliens he could help a couple of pokemon along the way.

They were everywhere.

Why the hell didn’t these—invaders—go back to where they came from? He sighed—normally he would be called out to handle a bunch of poisoned Pokémon, but nothing like this.

He did some quick math in his head, wondering if it was a good idea to go in guns blazing.

“Normally I’d suggest we go in all guns blazing, but it’s better if we pick them off one by one. We’re outnumbered. Ten on two? Who knows what’s waiting for us if we go in unarmed…” he mused, looking through his own binoculars as well.

“Even if it takes a while, well—better safe than sorry, right?” he gestured before he summoned his Metagross. Well, it was fucking flashy, but Ro would be perfect for the job.

“We lure them out one by one—or two at a time, we have better odds rather than taking them on all at once.”

'Did numbers really matter though?' part of him thought though he wasn't going to comment on it. If that was what the head ranger wanted he was going to obey. If nothing else his parents conditioned him into a decent soldier that follows orders. Though a large part of him really hoped the other was kidding about being unarmed. Who went in with being unarmed? Sure pokemon could be used as weapons but they shouldn't be your only weapon. Sabrina seemed to agree with this as she makes a comment at her trainer who just shrugs at her as what else could he do? [break][break]

Though he couldn't help but be confused by the other's choice of pokemon, "You want to be covert, yet you send out a large, shiny Metagross....?" Razz can't help but comment. He may follow orders to the letter but that didn't always stop him from making a comment. Sure his pokemon were also white but they were small, quick, and silent. "Though if that's what you want then I have an idea, Whis going to need you to get spotted and lure them out alright?" the troublemaker nodded at him, Razz still not completely sure if they understood the dangers of this or if they were just excited either way he was happy to see them take off silently. "Sabrina and I will make sure the ones they lure can't move," he assures before moving ahead silently. [break][break]

Whis made sure to wait for a bit while two of them were off enough before punching a tree to make enough noise for them to hear. As the aliens spotted them Whis made sure to move as two took chase to see just what it was they saw. Thankfully they didn't call for more as they went after them. The thunderclap pokemon went close to where the two trainers were before Razz signaled for Sabrina to use PSYCHIC making the aliens stiffen up and the pokemon with them stiffen up to keep them defenseless.

“Oh, you haven’t seen Ro move in battle yet, have you,” Lars chuckled a few seconds later. “Sure he may look flashy, but you know how those scenes in movies go—when someone sees shiny shit, they chase after it.”

It would be the same application to these strange ‘invaders’, right?

“Fly,” was all he said, knocking exactly once on the Metagross’s leg. Knowing what that meant, the silver beast tucked in its legs and followed the Meowstic, releasing a blast of Telekinetic energy and using that to float the first few that had been immobilized.

“Have to keep them somewhere, right?” he offered with a shrug, resisting the urge to chuckle. The Metagross looked up at the levitating ‘invaders’ with one of its beady red eyes, before keeping them there in mid-air, unable to move.

“At least they’re not going anywhere anytime soon. He can keep them there. Shall we continue?” he gestured, reaching into a pocket and pulling out another Pokéball just in case things went south again and he didn’t want to leave the Metagross defenseless.

No, no he did not. Though Razz wasn't going to tell his boss that, while he's been on his own sure he has seen a bit more media but it was mostly because Salem was watching it in the background rather than him looking at it. [break][break]

After the first were taken out the young man just watched as the Metagross just made them float up and out of site. One of them dropping their electric batons on their way up. Thinking it would be useful Razz took it for himself as his boss spoke, the young ranger taking this as the other's way of saying he didn't want them to kill them. Okay that would make this more tedious, but Razz was always for following orders. [break][break]

Razz nods at the question before heading for another group. Once again the young ranger takes the lead as he has Whis once again grab the attention of the aliens. This time the cat brought 3 of them with them, one more than he would have liked but it was something they could handle with ease as long as they kept their surprise. Once in range Sabria once again locked their prey with PSYCHIC, Razz used the new baton to bash one behind the head to knock them out as Whis used POWER UP PUNCH on the other to knock them out. The younger ranger leaving his boss to deal with the last and take care of the bodies. [break][break]

"Only 5 left," he reminds seeing what the other wanted to do.
