Jagged Pass had become desolate since the war...

After so many years of fighting and honing their talents, the breadth of Hoenn had been shaken to its core, and many were still reeling from the events of the invasion, and Adrian was no exception. Moving on wasn't always easy.

Trying to just overlook things temporarily came much easier, and so he trudged along the pass overlooked by sheer cliffs and rocky outcroppings, wondering what might be skulking around...

Looks like some mooked Krabby...

He wasn't going to capture it. Adrian wouldn't even deign to battle it; he'd just mosey on out of there, trying to find literally anything else. Though as he's pacing away, he wonders whether it wouldn't be worth steaming, with a side of butter. Mmm.~

But upon turning back around, it's nowhere to be seen, and that was probably for the best.

He'd seen this thing before on television. Adrian was pretty sure they put people to sleep. So he'd steer clear of the rosy fumes leaking from its forehead, continuing along the path in pursuit of something else. If he wanted some creepy flesh creature to prey on his dreams and nightmares...

Well, he didn't.

But if for some reason he did, he would come back.

Why is this thing following me?

Adrian just wanted it to go away.

An obnoxious diva pokemon, Jynx, had started tailing him along the Jagged Pass with a gleam in its eyes that made him wary. Though it showed no signs of hostility, it refused to leave his side.

Even when he tried to run away, it just ran faster.

It was so thirsty for him to capture it, that it grabbed one of his pokeballs forcefully, tapping the device and allowing itself to be siphoned into the device that it might imprint on the machine.

Fuckin' Psychic-types are way too smart for their own good... Do I leave it here? His morality said no, but his willingness to put up with its antics was nonexistent. Maybe I'll trade it to someone...
