"Hey noah faber? You free this evening?"
Adrian had been buzzing Noah over the cellphone while taking the afternoon off for some ranging near Rustboro when the idea hit him to call them up. As the phone in his hand hummed with the familiar sound of Noah's voice, Adrian quickly remembered something he'd said to Kyle before during a mission. Ah, shit... "H-hey, what about Kyle?" The humming became an abrupt buzzing. "I said we'd get drinks after some bad business at a honey farm... I never made good on my promise, hehehe...." Noah couldn't see it, but he'd started picking at the nape of his neck anxiously. "D'ya think he might wanna go for drinks too? I feel bad forgetting about it." While Noah's chattering back at him over the smartphone, there's a flurry of movement in his peripheral that garners his attention, and he quickly loses track of the conversation. "Hey..." "I'll call you back; I'm on Route 116..." After a moment's pause he clicked the phone in as respectful a way he could manage given circumstances, placing the phone safely in his pocket before his fingers snaked their way around a pokeball.
