Adrian is skulking around a route near Fallarbor for no other reason than to put distance between himself and the nightmare of the last month.

It wasn't long until he came across a Piloswine foraging for truffles and other treats buried and forgotten. Not long ago Adrian had owned a Mamoswine, but in the wake of Necrozma's attack on Slateport, many pokemon had been lost or scattered to the four winds; presumed dead.

And though his eyes burned with remorse and his brow furled with ignoble feelings, Adrian could not help but succumb to old habits. With an exasperated sigh he brandished a pokeball and a berry in either hand, approaching the loveable oaf of a creature and making a friend of it thereafter.
