HELLO, EVERYONE! We're entering our 7th Arc on Hoenn! The setting and timeline will be updated to reflect this. Stay tuned as we explore the year of the dragon (or draconids?), while the site narrative brings Hoenn closer and closer to unparalleled dangers.

JCINK OR PROBOARDS? We're currently deliberating upon this potential move to the Jcink platform. Jcink has several tools that allow for automation of staffwork. hoenn is inspired by, but not associated with nintendo's pokemon franchise.

skin is created by pharaoh leap with graphical help from red. we would like to thank leap and meulk for their additional templates (staff temp, custom pc).

next, garden/swarm spawn, ranger raid, black market, pkmn contest post templates were coded by ulla.

teal has created the wild spawn, endeavour list, league card, exhibits. he and spiral also created the gachapon script, while the former created the gachapon template.

lav has coded in UI accessibility features on Hoenn (cogwheel icon on the navigational sidebar).

characters belong to the members who write them, and all posts and templates on site are credited to their respective authors and artists. we claim nothing that is not ours. thank you for stopping by.

SYNOPSIS: the hoenn league has successfully diverted the 99943 meteno meteroid into an alternate universe. consequently, the region has experienced a violent planeshifting, a bombardment of terastal crystals, and now sports various rifts to realms in the ultra wilds. as megalopolan activity begins to rise, trainers who embark in expeditions to these realms uncover secrets behind the condition of the multiverse.
meanwhile, team rocket and the league amass resources to aid in their conflict against each other. the crime syndicate is poised to take more of the region territorially, while the league ponders a direct offense. legendary pokemon roam the region as potential benefactors or ruinous omens, leaving many to ponder how the hoenn region will ultimately be responsible for the end of all worlds.

Spending all his money on pokeballs was starting to bite him in the backside, but no trainer could really resist the urge. And after losing so many companions in recent events, his drive to capture pokemon only grew. And so here he was.

Whiling away the hours in search of pokemon.

Except he still hated most bugs, and could hardly bring himself to snag even the cutest of Combee. Passing it up without apprehension, he'd stalk further along the route in pursuit of something scrappier. Something that'd put up a fair fight.

If the past was any indication, they'd be pitted against worse than fair odds under his care, and would better themselves to have a fighting spirit and a tenacious streak. Or else he may capture them only to throw away their lives in vain.

They deserve a chance to refuse, he thought.

Now there was a pokemon with some guts.

He'd stood by and watched as a Heracross flung another of the same species off a cliff after struggling not to be pushed over the edge itself. The natural propensity towards violence was something Adrian desired in his next pokemon.

An eagerness for conflict, bordering on an obsession to hone its skills. Something that would follow him anywhere; that is what he sought.

Releasing Sirius, Adrian had an ensuing battle with the Heracross before his advantageous typing won him the battle, and he was able to stow the Heracross safely into a pokeball before leaving.
