HELLO, EVERYONE! We're entering our 7th Arc on Hoenn! The setting and timeline will be updated to reflect this. Stay tuned as we explore the year of the dragon (or draconids?), while the site narrative brings Hoenn closer and closer to unparalleled dangers.

JCINK OR PROBOARDS? We're currently deliberating upon this potential move to the Jcink platform. Jcink has several tools that allow for automation of staffwork. hoenn is inspired by, but not associated with nintendo's pokemon franchise.

skin is created by pharaoh leap with graphical help from red. we would like to thank leap and meulk for their additional templates (staff temp, custom pc).

next, garden/swarm spawn, ranger raid, black market, pkmn contest post templates were coded by ulla.

teal has created the wild spawn, endeavour list, league card, exhibits. he and spiral also created the gachapon script, while the former created the gachapon template.

loreq has assisted us with many quality of life changes on site involving coding fixes, plugins and more.

lav has coded in UI accessibility features on Hoenn (cogwheel icon on the navigational sidebar).

characters belong to the members who write them, and all posts and templates on site are credited to their respective authors and artists. we claim nothing that is not ours. thank you for stopping by.

SYNOPSIS: the hoenn league has successfully diverted the 99943 meteno meteroid into an alternate universe. consequently, the region has experienced a violent planeshifting, a bombardment of terastal crystals, and now sports various rifts to realms in the ultra wilds. as megalopolan activity begins to rise, trainers who embark in expeditions to these realms uncover secrets behind the condition of the multiverse.
meanwhile, team rocket and the league amass resources to aid in their conflict against each other. the crime syndicate is poised to take more of the region territorially, while the league ponders a direct offense. legendary pokemon roam the region as potential benefactors or ruinous omens, leaving many to ponder how the hoenn region will ultimately be responsible for the end of all worlds.

Just a late night drive through the outskirts. His high beams casting light over the night life as he cruised the area in pursuit of abnormalities.

In other words, a typical Hoenn night.

As ever he craves resolution, hoping to find a trace of mischief, something to fixate upon. Anything that might lead him to the stranger. Howitzer's killer. Adrian's only true enemy for himself...

But as ever, he found nothing of import.

Passing by a Weepingbell, Adrian couldn't help but be reminded of the old adage "If you're cold, they're cold" and feel a pang of guilt.

I can't stand those stupid googly eyes.

His engine revved up as he turned around along the road and retraced his path, taking him further out of town and into the dark of its outskirts.

Eventually Adrian sees a Morgrem's irises glare at him in the headlights. Oh. Hello there. They both share an awkward glance at each other, the Morgrem tranfixed on the halted vehicle's headlights as Adrian peers at it through the windshield before stepping out of the car.

As he approaches Morgrem, it bows "submissively".

"Nah, f#%k all that. I know your tricks."

He would've considered battling it, but by lowering its head, it made itself an easy target for a pokeball thrown rather harshly by a trainer who knew all too well the gimmicks of these fae...

Left with a lump on its head, Morgrem would find itself secured in a pokeball fastened to Adrian's belt before the trainer would've returned to their car.
