The war had ended but the aftermath still remained. She had been sent to the Fiery Path for a routine check, instructed to report back with any sign of distress whether it be remaining Megalopolan activity or any sudden influx in poisoned and distressed Pokemon. The regularly scheduled poison patrols had ended officially, but there was still work to be done to turn this bad situation around.[break][break]

It comes in the form of a Magmar. The beast is deranged, out of its mind with pain and fear. Without even thinking, the Pokemon lashes out defensively, spitting up a lava plume. Stormy side-steps to avoid the mess, only to watch as it bubbles and pops against the ground. It isn't right, it doesn't look right. [break][break]
"Oh you poor, poor thing."[break][break]

She releases her Blissey and the medic wastes no time in showering the Magmar in life dew. The magical remedy sizzles against flesh, at first burning and burning before it finally brings relief. And it is in this relief that the Magmar faints, overwhelmed by its wounds and the poison that has contaminated it. [break][break]

A Pokeball whizzes, making contact and then absorbing the creature within. Stormy makes her rounds once more, reporting any sign of poison spills and dangerous Pokemon before eventually making her way back home.[break][break]
